Brother that’s an intercooler and a radiator. That vehicle has a turbo, most modern vehicles have turbos for efficiency.

Seeing the comments you obviously didn’t know it’s an intercooler, VW/Audi 4 cylinders are mostly all turbo since 2000s I don’t think I’ve seen VW 4 cyl that’s not turbo in U.S., older VW had side mounted intercooler which you wouldn’t really notice cuz it was smaller than radiator and mounted behind bumper. All turbo cars should come with stock intercooler mounted somewhere like Subarus have it on top of the engine and Evo have it in front of the radiator.
