Bruce Johannesson, we were friends through Jr high and part of HS at FT Hamilton In Bay-ridge Brooklyn. Somewhere we lost touch. His parents had a Brownstone and we used to jam-in the basement. I remember turning him on to Lou Reed live with Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner and rock and roll animal. Acres of fun trying to emulate those great players. Glad to know he is doing well and touring!
LOL its funny he talks about multi tracking, my dad also was a big time les paul fan , he often spoke of les's contribution to the music industry with multitracking and the electric guitar. Keep in mind , my dad lived in a very very rural part of the country and out of the 100 or so people that lived in that area , he was probably the only one interested in rhythm and blues , chuck berry , fats domino , less paul and all those sorts. My dad was way ahead of his time in the understanding of the production and the quality of hi fidelity , decades ahead of when it actually became relevant and when CC speaks of this , its like Hes talking about my own father. RIP dad........love ya
