Lol, I’m laughing because my head doesn’t shut up at all. It talks and talk. I have to meditate and I have to talk myself through it. Talk it down and talk it out.. I read the Bible three times when I was a kid cause I came from the Boone StiiXx yeah of nowhere and we had three maybe channels on the TV.. and so I read a lot because I read and ✍🏼 by the time I was three.. Because of that, I have a very large understanding of the Bible.. but it was my faith that seemed to help me connect dots that were missing for me.. As I said before an internal change.. and I’m a work in progress and will be until it’s time for me to fly friendly skies .. I almost did, but I was pulled back from somebody special.. long story maybe another time.. Well, I think you’re awesome sauces.. but I already knew that before I seen this I feel like if I think somebody’s like me, I believe they’re awesome .. I didn’t realize how cool-you are.. 😊😊.. or even how much we are alike like for real I like.. Thanks for sharing. These are great..!
I am glad you found God.... There is always comfort in knowing God. We all fall short of the glory of God. At least you are trying to live your life according to Gods plan..My favorite Scripture is Psalm 42:1..
CC was (is) a MAJOR influence on my guitar playing in the late 80's/early 90's. I always felt he was way underrated and never understood what folks weren't getting about him. His playing and his showmanship (albeit heavily influenced by substances) blew me away!! I would always hope I'd get the chance to meet him after a concert and thank him for the inspiration but it never happened. Fast forward 16 years later to around 2007 and I FINALLY got the chance to meet and thank him. I wasn't the same 16 year old, but even at 33 and talking with him you wouldn't have guessed it. I knew about his battle with addiction, obesity, and his new found sobriety and he couldn't have been more polite and gracious. I told him how much he influenced me and he opened up about his past addictions, saying he didn't remember a lot of those years that shaped my life. That always stuck with me. Hell, in looking back at the picture of us I swear I look like a teenager again and I can only imagine how much I was probably babbling on 🤣 It's so good to see him healthy and getting the chance to relive another round of the career. Kudos bro!! Hope to cross paths again sometime. Cheers!
Glad to know C.C. conquered the vices that come with being in a successful rock and roll band, or at least he's taking proactive steps to conquer them. Finding faith in the Lord and remaining steadfast to it can help overcome a lot of obstacles in life. You tend to step back, see the big picture, and are then able to separate what's really important from the frivolous nonsense.

That is just fantastic stuff right there. This puts joy in my heart. I saw him play wasted when Tesla opened for Poison in Cincinnati back around '87-'88. His solo spot was, I mean, you could pretty much tell he was inebriated. It wasn't tight or organized. I bet now he puts all that Joe Pesci-like energy into some serious shredding action!
