- Shabuya is an all you can eat shabu shabu restaurant in Las Vegas that currently has a $24 lunch special every day from noon to 3pm. All you can eat meats, sushi and izakaya style appetizers for $24 is a solid deal in Las Vegas. I'm joined today by Dan vs World, a fellow RUclipsr who focuses on food and travel. This is such a great deal, especially with all those added appetizers.
We have a hot pot restaurant in town, $20 for lunch, $30 for dinner. They have a 2 hour time limit.

One restaurant closure that I felt was unfortunate was MY Asia. Martin Yang didn't get the typical celebrity chef deal where they pay him for use of his name but rather he was a renter

Shin, first, I'm glad you are feeling better . Secondly , I've written you before to say you are my favorite food critics by far. Though this collab was a pleasant watch, it is not even close to when you review alone. You help me decide where to eat when I get to Vegas . When you're alone, you give a more more detailed account of the food you're eating. I still wish you reviewed Golden Steer alone. I hope when you review a top end restaurant, you do it solo. You're the best in Vegas.

I love all your content see if you can find the old foot long hot dog that they use to sell at Slots of Fun and the Riviera Hotel I know its a what's in it meat dog but it tasted so good back then? I don't know of any body doing it any more.

Shin, 8 years isn't nearly enough time to cover every restaurant. Dan is right the turnover is amazing. Fairly Recent Examples: Lose Tropicana and Mirage, Gain Fontainebleau, Durango, and Atomic Golf.
I had a delta of 10 restaurants a year and it was 8 years left that I had calculated but we'll definitely see. Thanks for watching!

At $24 with Sushi, "if" it's in SoCal i'ld go once a week

An enjoyable review and collab. Another friend of Norma’s who is a very likeable, cool Vegas local content creator is Jorge with his Vegas Must Try channel. I mentioned you on one of his Lives, told him that you had done reviews with Norma, and suggested a collab. He was interested and said that he would check out your channel. I love going to Shabuya. It's probably my go to place when I'm in the mood for hot pot especially when I want to go solo for hot pot. I usually do the dinner option since I love getting the lamb slices as well as the rib eye slices. Love getting their appetizers and sushi

"Goma" is Japanese for sesame seeds. So a goma sauce is sesame-based, not peanut-based. In Japanese the second syllable is stressed, "go-MAH." Many times goma is the blackened sesame seeds called, "neri goma."

in some of those bars on the strip half the menu was bad... Also dan seems down to earth, and doesn't try to dominate the conversation like geli bean.
