I’m always welcoming to season 8 slander, because it was so disappointing. D&D deserve their lashings because they’ll never take accountability or admit the last season was garbage 🗑️

I totally agree with everything you’ve said, especially the way they ended Dany and Jaime’s character.
I was so upset how did we go to Daenerys in season 7 saying : “ I have faith in myself in Daenerys Targaryen” to her in season 8 : “I don’t have love here only fear” like she even acknowledged in season 7 that the people wouldn’t immediately love her because she’s a stranger like it felt like they degraded her character in favor of Jon and wanted to make Sansa the most competent ruler out of all the characters and it didn’t work plus in season 7 there was a miscarriage that Cersei had even Lena Headey confirmed it but I think they wanted to go with “subverting expectations” so that they can get the show done because all that build up that Cersei would do some mad queen stuff is there and Jamie leaving her to having a miscarriage would definitely make her go insane and become a darker character
If Jon killed Dany. He wouldn’t have made it out of Kings landing alive… Dothraki or unsullied would have killed him.
Jon snow spin off: dany is resurrected and take over as Queen. Season 2 Dany conquering the rest of the world. The end

There wasn’t foreshadowing and people who claim it are retconning hard. Dany’s thing was avenging angel, wrathful mother goddess who cared for the common people and wrought furious vengeance on anyone who hurt them. The way they betrayed her character was abominable. I mean seriously they showed her sulking at the party when Jon was drinking with his bros - this woman who ate a raw dripping stallion heart and stood for hours in blazing pyres and wandered through the desert right after losing her husband and baby and she’s wawawawa because people like Jon better???? PUHLEASE
They claim it was foreshadowing because they never liked her character and that’s a lot of folks who hate Daenerys always wanted her to have that turn but the thing is they already put the ground work for Cersei to do some mad queen stuff not Daenerys.
Building for years to end up with ashes and not in a good way. Still hate that. I'll never forget seeing Tyrion adjust a chair for what felt like 2 minutes and Bran (full stop). Hated it.

I will never forgive D&D for killing my favorite character: Daenerys Targaryen, she grew on me so much, when she died I went into depression because I never loved a character like I loved Daenerys Targaryen, a part of me died when she died. But in my mind she is still alive and she remains the queen of Westeros.
I tried to rewatch the series and I was only able to make it to season 7 episode 2, it was that awful!
I was never a huge GOT fan even though I did watch all 8 Seasons I didn't even care enough to be outraged like it seems most were because I saw that so many people hated the last Season LOL. Also I still haven't even watched the new spin-off show HOTD, and I probably never will don't care enough. But I love your channel, you are amazing.

The ending of game of thrones made me feel like I wasted my life watching the show....
DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED 😤😡 lol Cuz the showrunners for House of the Dragon have **already** shown themselves to be in the writing room, crafting their OWN fan fiction... instead of properly ADAPTING the source material as they should be doing! Don't get me wrong, I know that you gotta cut some things or make some changes in when adapting from book to screen. But it shouldn't be to the point where you are completely changing people's whole personalities!
They painted Alicent as this innocent, conflicted person, who simply misunderstood King Viserys on his deathbed... while in the book, she is a scheming, conniving, EVIL woman, who left that man's body to rot for DAYS after he died, all so she could plot the takeover of the throne! She didn't give AF if Rhaenyra & all her kids died neither! Even though Rhae wasn't thinking about killing all of HER family at all!
Then they had Daemon killing his 1st wife... when in the book, he was still out fighting in the Stepstones, and wasn't anywhere near that woman when she died! (It really was just a bad horse riding accident) And they had him slapping Rhaenyra in the face too, what the hell?? And don't get me started on Aemon One Eye killing Lucerys "on accident" ffs. Painting it all out to his dragon's f*cking fault... when in the book, he did that sh*t on purpose, and even came back home & BRAGGED about it ffs! And Aegon's drunk, ignorant r*pey ass is secretely HATED by everybody around him, because he is vicious, cruel & will even turn on his OWN people. He's nobody to feel sorry for! But they showed him in that carriage w/his Mama, tears in his eyes, asking if his father ever loved him, like... ??? It was enough to make me sick. lol
Those writers CLEARLY did all they could, to make the Blacks look as bad as the Greens, just so they can have this weird "Team vs Team" sh*t going on in the fandom... instead of adapting the source material AS IT IS, where you can see who the usurpers truly are! Where you can see who the rightful heir to the throne really is, and who deserves to sit on it! I like the show, I really do. But if the showrunners continue to write their own fan fiction, I don't know if I can take it.
Cuz we already went through this bullsh*t with Game of Thrones, and I ain't wasting YEARS of my life on another damn TV show that's just going to end up in disappointment. 😩🚫 They got me f*cked upppp.

The show from the beginning wasn’t even accurate or loyal to Daenerys’ character and you think that dumbass ending was cannon for the Queen? Girllllll

And who was the only one in the show that freed the slaves and gave them hope and inspiration as a leader and decided to end her story like that to gaslight us saying she’s a tyrant plus killing missandei and placing her back in chains and having grey worm and the unsullied basically die if they go to Naath with the butterflies like they really showed their true colors in this season finale

Well, Jon Snow is the books' protagonist, most POV chapters, and his secret lineage was GRRMs best kept secret not to mention the most pivotal storyline, cause John as initially intended was destined to become the Prince that was promised reborn. But let's be honest here, in this time and age the show runners could not go through with the white male saviour trope, therefore turned Jon into a secondary character after S6, and had Arya kill the Night King. (Benioff said it himself, it didn't 'feel right' for Jon to kill the Night King). Yeah right🙄 All the foreshadowing and build up, his resurrection FCOL for nothing, and the revelation of his true identity was only used to drive Daenerys mad in the end!! Ok, to be fair, he warned Westeros about the Whitewalkers, gathered the armies, and fought bravely and selflessly against evil, even at the expense of his own happiness. But the man was resurrected for a higher purpose, to fulfill the prophecy (I know Jon is still dead in the books but Melisandre is nearby) and become Azor Ahai reborn. Makes me wonder why they mentioned the prophecy in HOTD though, are they planning to retcon some of the sturff in a future sequel, idk. Maybe Jon will have to face the Great Other after all, maybe the show's Night King was a general of sorts and not the main villain, who knows? Also have to wonder if GRRM has changed things in Winds of Winter because of the show, maybe that's one of the reasons he hasn't released the book yet.
See, i know a lot of people like that shot with daenarys and the dragon wings but it came off kind of try-hardy and heavy handed to me lmao. The only things i enjoyed about season 8 was the acting. They acted they asses off. And it was mostly well shot. Everything else was trash of the highest order lmaooo

Yeah it’s tragic but bittersweet but the way got ended it was filled with so many plot holes fanservice and lots of questions that didn’t get answered. It was really disappointing and D&D clearly didn’t know how to end it and they obviously didn’t read the books cause they left out so many characters and cut out the magical aspect that’s pivotal to the main characters like Dany, Bran, Jon, and Arya.
@ACinemafanatic You know what? I am so sick, and God damn tired of hearing. People complain about season 8 when it's not as simple as all the showrooms. Just mess up the story between jgeorge, not finishing the story at all production budget contracts with actors.
Seasonate, while not perfect, it's a miracle that they finish it at all. It's OK to not like seasoning, but the constant s******* on it p***** me off when there's more to it than oh, they told a bad story.
There was no more story to adapt, so they had to go their own way, plus the ending is from George R. Martin himself. So if you didn't like the final episode, blame george
