Here's something neat! Just like in BoTW, kicking open a chest will hurt Link's foot if he's going barefoot. However, this will ALSO still happen if he's wearing the mystic trousers (the one you get from Koltin)
I'd say a spinning log doing major damage is quite real in fact, as in the game the more speed & momentum the log or any object for that matter has, the more damage it will do. That is quite true to real life in fact so ya, it's actually quite realistic! I mean no.... you can't spin logs around in midair in real life, but the physics of it & the force behind the impact IS in fact based on real physics!

The video title is wildly inaccurate. You don't even know what "busting a myth" means, since many of these thing you CONFIRMED instead of busting. (Busting means that the idea was proven to be wrong or fail.)
I combine the multi-bomb fusion with a rocket and a cart. I call it the "Special Delivery!", and yes, the exclamation point is part of the attack name. With some excess Zonaite, you can favorite it and just summon it at will. Hinox napping and you want those weapons? Special Delivery! Gleeok nearby and you want those horns? Get it to land and give it a Special Delivery! Want to cheese the final boss? Special Delivery!
dont agree with that at all, i just found interesting claims and tricks and added them, and of course many mega hardcore people already know about them, but many also dont.
I personnally think these aren't really myths (some of em) but game mechanics such as the one where you use ultrahand and recall for the glider (well not for the log + recall)
You can just drop a wing from the item quick menu while gliding forward and let go to land on the wing. It's a lot quicker and you don't need the start menu
Number 12 can be done easier if you pull out you glider, make sure link is not moving in a direction, pull out a glider, and push forward on the movement stick before closing the menu, then all you have to do is wait for the glider to slow down and drop on it, it is a bigger window of time and much more reliable
I honestly feel everybody is over-complicating this... I literally just pull one out while I'm gliding forward like normal. You don't have to "go neutral" or whatever, you just have to know when to close your Paraglider. The variable seems to be the speed Link is gliding downward, i.e. you have to wait a bit after you open the PG so your downward momentum is leveled out, otherwise it will spawn above you.
I love the fact you can do this stuff in the game. You can use a bunch of explosives to kill a boss mob. They don't patch it out or anything because its our sandbox. For the most part they let us do all kinds of insane and amazing things and thats very cool of Nintendo to allow it all!
4:15 to make this trick easier, while gliding, stop moving so you are stationary but still gliding, then pull out a wing, once you’ve resumed the game move forward enough so you’re above the wing and drop down.
I used both a cart and a minecart for different shields to make skateboards. Both work pretty well, but I feel like the minecart has slightly better maneuverability than the regular cart. When grinding on rails however, it doesn't seem to make any difference whether you have a cart, minecart, or nothing, stuck to your shield. I haven't tried rail grinding with other items, but I do know that shield surfing doesn't work with most items attached to the shield.
I find it much easier to get onto a wing by staying still with the paraglider out, hold a wing and exit the menu while holding up, and then releasing the paraglider to stand on the wing.
4:42 just pull it your glider (stationary), open your menu, spawn the glider, close your menu, then start going forward again. once the glider begins to dip, let go. you do land pretty close to the tail, but it’s never outright failed for me.
I always wanted to make "Nade-o-rangs" in a video game. They'd arm breifly and disarm to be rethrown. Should it get interrupted, it'd go boom. Never saw a thing like it before in a game until now. TotK beat me to the punch, and I couldn't pick a better game to lose the race to. (Not like there's gonna be any progress on my end for this anytime soon anyway, but 'tis an honor to see that I'm not the only one who thought putting the BOOM in Boomerang was a psychotic yet brilliant idea for a high risk/high yeild weapon!)
The best item to fuse to your shield for surfing purposes is an icy meat. It actually creates a near-frictionless surface so you can skate about so long as your shield has endurance left. You can make a meat icy by putting it on the ground and throwing an ice fruit at it.
i accidentally found a glitch where if you skipped to night-time and launch from a tower (i used the Gerudo one (not the snowy one)) if you fell from the sky, a star fragment appeared. you could pick it up midair, then go back and launch from the tower again and again. pretty quick way to make money!
I randomly jumped from an island and while I was falling down a star fragment suddenly passed me! :) I got it out of the air and even did thought of recording... But this was an amazing and totally unique experience for me! Love this game so much!!! Oh, and maybe someone has the same problem: You find a dispenser with the control stick, but you use them faster than any other material! The solution: Go to the underground and collect a lot of Zonaite! Use the Auto-Build function and use all parts from your stock except the Control Stick and still build it!!! The Control Stick will be made of three pieces of Zonaite, that's all, this way you can collect more Control Sticks than ever before! Or do that with every other material you wanna spare!
asterisk on the Korok Killing myth: you CAN lose them down holes or over cliffs and they will despawn, effectively "Killing" them via ringout, so you'd have to go to bed or otherwise reload the area
For a midair wing, go neutral in paraglider, drop the paraglider from the menu, press forward while exiting from the menu, press B around a second later and you'll land on the wing. Pretty easy to do tbh.
These "memory placks" made me realize something. Imagine being a Hylian Historian researching the Royal Family. That must be a nightmare. Zelda, Daughter of Zelda, Mother of Zelda...😅
The bomb jumps with the shield are unironically one of the most useful things in this game for traversal, shrine cheese, and combat. Can't wait till people start releading epic combat montages like in the first game with these new features.
I'm gonna have to try bomb shields again... I tried it once and got blown up. Maybe there were some other explosives next to me? I'm unsure what happened.
6:21 you can fuse either a frozen piece of meat, or an ice square from throwing ice chuchu jelly onto water and it will let you glide with little friction.
for some reason after seeing the minecart shield I am convinced Nintendo is going to release a skateboard game with TotK Link as a cameo character using a shield cart as his skateboard
Cool star fragment trick that I've pulled off twice... fall down with the star fragment almost all the way to the ground and grab it last second, then pull out your glider to land. There will be a second star fragment appear where the light on the ground was. Haven't exactly figured out how this glitch works yet though
In regards to the goat butter, instead, you can take a piece of meat or fish, freeze it then fuse it to your shield for a really good shield to surf with
even though whistle sprinting is gone, there are actually a ton of new ways to walk around faster without using faster, such as bow sprinting and many others!
Something about number 14, the memorial plaques, there is something people are saying, they say if you go to the depths where a plaque is, you can find one of the knights that give you weapons that are clean and not rusted
You can attach Icy Meat onto your shield to have little to no friction. Normal and Prime meat works but not Gourmet Meat. It has the same friction as Zonai Carts/Sleds/Minecarts. I’ll always use Frozen meat since it’s goofy. This also works with every frozen variant of fish.
I had a star fragment falling next to me when skydiving once...had no idea that was going to happen, just grabbed it out of the air and it was a cool moment.

I mean no.... you can't spin logs around in midair in real life, but the physics of it & the force behind the impact IS in fact based on real physics!
yeah but it looks silly hahaha so that is what makes it a realism breaker in ways
"feels like a beta" but the generic and repeated dialogues, lack of acknowledgment of certain MAIN quest solved and the repeated scene for each temple's resolution makes this game more of a "in-development" state than BotW
I tried a glitch where you could get infinite bubul gems, it required the ascend ability and using it while the bubul frog was floating in the air after killing it. I tried it myself but it didn't work, I'm not sure if I did it wrong or I was doing it in the wrong cave. I didn't say that it had to be in a specific cave or place, it simply showed how to do it. I watched a video about it
There are two places where it works, but I don't know the places.
i think its the lake hylia cave
@@valeries9297 that zora cave where you raise the water by clearing pipes to find the path to the water temple
yeah saw that but it seems like they patched it out
@@drwily I can see why. Bubbel gems are supposed to be a limited resource, like korok seeds. There's one per cave, and a limited amount of items to redeem them for.
#10: if u want to shield surf on grass or snow, attach the sled.. for everything else use the cart and make a skateboard.
A big question is what happened to all the sheikah tech through out Hyrule especially the divine beasts.
Yeah big mystery for sure that kind of bugs me
Dlc maybe 👀
5 years is a long time to remove them all from the kingdom. It's safe to assume Purah disassembled them all and used the parts to build her watchtowers and create other such technology like her Purah Pad to help in the rebuilding of the kingdom.
And they probably wanted to make Sure IF Ganon comes Bach that He doesnt Take control over the technology again, because that's the Main reason people died especially the Champions
Until they explain it im going to assume zelda meddling in the past changed how things went, as a lot of things from the botw calamity are no longer recognized by the npcs
For the infinite sprint, you can still do it, all you need to do is alternate between pressing sprint and the ZR button to pull out your bow, it also works with alternating with crouching
Yeah the crouch timing be a lil wierd but when u get used to the bow sprint it actually works pretty well once you get the rhythm down
To be fair those koroks had it coming
freaking rascals!
If only we could make Hestu pay for his "gifts".
Y’all should try shield surfing on frozen meat and fish!
90% of these ain't even myths bruh wtf

Shrines are usually 'above' certain points on the map and there are usually certain points exactly 'below' them in turn if you're having any problems finding some shrines. It seems a little lazy in placement, but it actually makes sense in the story. Said points on the map have a highly obvious reason for corresponding the way that they do.
Edit: Also does anyone else play the Dark World theme from 'Link To the Past' while exploring certain parts of the game?
Man finds 15 basic gameplay elements and calls them myths 💀
dont agree with that at all, i just found interesting claims and tricks and added them, and of course many mega hardcore people already know about them, but many also dont.
Ok did that log really have to look like that? 😂
These arent myths, and you arent "busting" anything
I personnally think these aren't really myths (some of em) but game mechanics such as the one where you use ultrahand and recall for the glider (well not for the log + recall)
a shooting star once bounced off my flying bike while i was way up in the sky. did nothing tho but scared the hell out of me for a sec
kinda funny that a video about busting myths perpetuates the myth that you need a minecart shield to surf on rails.
hahahah yeah fair
The midair hoverstone trick refers to attaching hoverstones to arrows... Not using gliders midair
Early on, a shooting star wizzed just a few inches away from me. I dove down and caught it midair, and it felt great.
You can just drop a wing from the item quick menu while gliding forward and let go to land on the wing. It's a lot quicker and you don't need the start menu
Dr. Wily: " people are so mean to koroks "
Also Dr. Wily: * multiple attempts to murder a korok *
8:03 Umm... Wily..? Would you care to explain why *this* contraption was the best example of this trick??
No reason hahahahha
I find it much easier to get onto a wing by staying still with the paraglider out, hold a wing and exit the menu while holding up, and then releasing the paraglider to stand on the wing.
there’s another trick for midair wing: stop gliding forward, deploy glider and start holding forward again immediately, press b when it’s under you
4:42 just pull it your glider (stationary), open your menu, spawn the glider, close your menu, then start going forward again. once the glider begins to dip, let go. you do land pretty close to the tail, but it’s never outright failed for me.
It’s also cool that where there are memorial plaques, there are the ghosts of the plaques at the same spot in the Depths, holding non-decayed weapons
I learnt that you can grab shooting stars on my own, it feels really cool when you do it
i accidentally found a glitch where if you skipped to night-time and launch from a tower (i used the Gerudo one (not the snowy one)) if you fell from the sky, a star fragment appeared. you could pick it up midair, then go back and launch from the tower again and again. pretty quick way to make money!
8:03 “all you do is spin the log around”
I’m glad you didn’t use the other “name”
While the butter fails, you can freeze meat then fuse it to a shield for low friction shield surfing!
asterisk on the Korok Killing myth: you CAN lose them down holes or over cliffs and they will despawn, effectively "Killing" them via ringout, so you'd have to go to bed or otherwise reload the area
Cart shield.
Yes I have tried it, yes durability is an issue. Yes it is speedy as hell.
I 100% agree, great to use but man they break quickly
Put a rocket on a shield
I'm gonna have to try bomb shields again... I tried it once and got blown up. Maybe there were some other explosives next to me? I'm unsure what happened.
6:21 you can fuse either a frozen piece of meat, or an ice square from throwing ice chuchu jelly onto water and it will let you glide with little friction.
for some reason after seeing the minecart shield I am convinced Nintendo is going to release a skateboard game with TotK Link as a cameo character using a shield cart as his skateboard
That boom-rang idea i used a ton already😂
3:54 the unbalanced wheels infuriates me more than i should
Cool star fragment trick that I've pulled off twice... fall down with the star fragment almost all the way to the ground and grab it last second, then pull out your glider to land. There will be a second star fragment appear where the light on the ground was. Haven't exactly figured out how this glitch works yet though
In regards to the goat butter, instead, you can take a piece of meat or fish, freeze it then fuse it to your shield for a really good shield to surf with
Icy meat on a shield actually does improve your surfing, and unlike an ice slab it won’t melt unless you’re in death mountain
You know those targets you have to impact with a ball you sometimes find in shrines? Here's a tip for your local Entropy: Shoot a bomb arrow at em.
On the despawning. Forget adding star fragments, add a dragon scale. It lasts forever
Quick tip, if you get a forest shield, you can infinitely use a bomb sheild for mobility until it breaks
you can actually still "Whistle sprint" except its now used with either bow equiping or weapon throwing
That super Mario sunshine intro is sweet
even though whistle sprinting is gone, there are actually a ton of new ways to walk around faster without using faster, such as bow sprinting and many others!
oehhhh will look into this!
Attaching frozen meat to your shield allows for a fun way to shield surf in places you wouldn't think possible. 😅
Something about number 14, the memorial plaques, there is something people are saying, they say if you go to the depths where a plaque is, you can find one of the knights that give you weapons that are clean and not rusted
Weird that deploying a wing midair and landing on it is so tricky since Link literally does it in one of the trailers.
#7 made me think of Wile E. Coyote's shenanigans, especially the potential to have the bomb/boomerang blow up in Link's face.
The Vows and hand abilities don’t match, I can’t unsee it and neither will you.
This is trick I haven't really seen anyone mention yet.
So my tip is: next time you get ambushed by stalkoblins, try using a dazzlefruit.
if you fuse a boomerang with a round shield, you can play Captain America
How did I not think of this?!?!
Butter may not work but fusing your shield with a frozen steak sure does!
I had a star fragment falling next to me when skydiving once...had no idea that was going to happen, just grabbed it out of the air and it was a cool moment.
I think it’d be cool if butter made your shield TOO slick, so when you try to surf it slips backwards and Link falls face first into the ground
With the goat butter, it doesn't prevent you from surfing at least, like many items fused to a shield.
2:40 unfun fact: you can take a flower off of these memorials if they have one on them
did that myself lmao
I’m really mad because my switch isn’t working and I got tears of the kingdom and it was really fun and then my switch stopped charging
