Just to clarify, the Eightfold Longblade is a Sheikah weapon, but in BotW, the Yiga had their own blade, known as the Windcleaver. In BotW, the Eightfold Longblade doesn't have the ability to "cleave wind." Only the Windcleaver in BotW has this power. In TotK, they removed the Windcleaver and gave its ability to the Eightfold Longblade.
The rocket shield one may be due to the fact that monsters don’t have zonai batteries. Construct enemies however regularly use shields and weapons with devices attached, so maybe they can be launched by rocket shields
for the myth at #11: you can fuse a shield to any weapon and the weapon will gain the properties of the shield so you can “duel wield” without duel wielding
Fun fact about the SkyView towers: guardian legs are the arms that attach the stuff to Link. Also you can throw stuff during a flurry rush. It's pretty cool
You can fuse the rocks spat out by the Rock Likes, but they only last one hit. Alternatively, you can rewind the 3rd and final rock it spits out to destroy its rock casing and stun it once its casing is destroyed.

if you’re farther in the game, an easier way to change chuchu jellies to ice/fire is to go to the colder regions for ice, or in the depths near/in death mountain
For fire jelly you only need a fire. Cook fire, campfire, grass fire, even a flame emitter iirc. The first thing I did when getting chuchu jelly in the beginning of the game was convert it at the nearest fire, it really helps lol.
I used to do this all the time in BotW when selling monster parts. Elemental chuchu jellies are worth more than normal chuchu jellies, so early on in the game, it was a nice way to make some extra money. Just throw some blue chuchu jellies on a fire and turn them to fire chuchu jellies, then sell them.
That box myth got me thinking. One particular trial had you jump off a sky island with a minecart attached to a shield. I used my paraglider to slow down my fall so I didn't get to check if the minecart worked better than a box.
@@-jnfgaming- He tested this with a boomerang in like video 3. The sky island rocks are not as heavy as you would think. but the heavier the object the less distance it will travel
I'm pretty sure those koroks were reacting to the Ultra hand, not the stal hand and it is more shock than fear. To test you need to drop it and see if they stay scared. Similarly, the stal head counts as a monster and they cower in the presence of any monster, but at least that is fear.
When fighting Frox, you can feed them a cannonball instad of a bomb flower or a Zonai timed bomb. Mineru had a cannon attachment on her and accidentally did it for me.
When standing on a zonai platform, pull out your shield and walk backwards to a corner. Holding the shield makes it so you don’t fall off. Aim upwards as high as you can in the direction of the furthest platform corner and shoot another platform arrow. Then pull out your shield and walk to the other corner. You can ascend to the next platform and repeat. It gives you just enough to be underneath the next platform for ascension if you do it like this.
There is a glitch that lets you have a device permanently active on a shield. Doing so with a fan on your back causes you to gain height while gliding. To activate the bug (pre 1.2.0), just get zapped at the same time you press zl. Can be done by walking into a shock emitter with practice.
Myth: Attaching a standard or large battery to Mineru's back will allow you to pilot Mineru without draining your zonai batteries, but the batteries will disappear after using a certain amount of power.
I think my favorite stuff that happens in this game is when monsters throw bombs miss you and they they explode cracking a nearby korok nut and giving you a free korok. It only happened once near death mount but it was an awesome surprise
Btw, the Master Cycle Zero IS in TotK, in the form of a little hidden easter egg; go to the Shrine of Resurrection. Right at the very back is a hole that leads to a Yiga bunker. Fight the Yiga Footsoldier, activate the construct, and obtain a Schema Stone for a Beam Cycle.
The beam cycle IS pretty cool, but imo, it's a poor substitute for the master cycle (handles differently, can't jump, the beam is just wasted battery most of the time).
It might be a poor substitute, but it is a nice easter egg, and if you detach the beam, it's much much better than the wheel-stabiliser-wheel combination
Fusing an ice gleeok horn to an eightfold longblade makes a great bullying weapon. Because it freezes a bokoblin(For example) It will knock them back, forcing them into the wind part of the blade, so if you hit them while frozen, they'll be knocked back, then frozen again. And gleeok horns don't run out of energy so no cooldown on the element.
I think when they said attach a wing, I think they meant, "any wing," including the Zonai device. Same goes for keese, arocuda, gibdo, and Gleeok wings. I don't completely remember perfectly, but I vividly remember trying a boomerang with a arocuda wing, and it did the same thing.
@@Ransacksix Yeah and come to think of it, has anyone ever tried a queen gibdo wing?? Not saying you should waist it on an arrow, but I know you could get one when you beat a queen gibdo. Attaching a queen gibdo wing to a weapon gives them gusting abilities and it massively boosts the attack strength of a weapon. that's why I personally wouldn't waist it on an arrow. However, that doesn't change my curiosity about it.
Next time I load the game I'm fusing a gleeok wing to one. Lol not that I ever managed to hit much when I was using a Farosh horn on a giant boomerang, but it was fun...
The Forest Dweller weapon specialty apparently only works with things that "burst". Gibdo Bones and Ancient Blades "break". The effect works with the plant and mushroom items, as well as Chu Jelly. Not really a myth but just something cool I wanted to share. Sooo when you come across NPCs fighting with a bokoblin and they get knocked out and have stars spinning above their head; I found if you throw a splash fruit at them it will wake them from their stupor.
If you flip a wagon over you can carefully destroy each wheel and then you can put small wheels, big wheels and even fans where the old wheels were. (Try putting the fans at an angle)
My favorite autobuild is the minstrel wagon with four large wheels on the axles and a steering stick on the yoke lol. And I haven't tested it yet, but I'm pretty sure if I added enough fans angled forward and down it would climb like a champ, just need enough downforce and maybe more thrust. Like that vehicle making the rounds with the shrine turbines. The only downside is it's flammable... I might add some hydrants to the battle mode I'm working on and see if that helps.
Also myth #3 the wing on the shield as you tested doesnt do much, but when shield surfing it makes you jump a tiny bit higher, just enough to be able to bullet time with the bow, dont really use it myself but saw people tested it.
Well, obviously: fusing absolutely any elemental material to a weapon gives that weapon that specific elemental property (as long as the fused material remains fused to the weapon).
hey something i would love for you to mention in the next video is related to the eightfold blade and elemental thing if you attach an ice elemental horn you can charge it up and make a LONG bridge in water also if you fuse a rocket to it you can do a normal spin attack but then it wont stop spinning :)
Fusing a wing onto your shield does have benefits. It allows you to get more height when doing a shield surf. If done correctly, you can go into bullet time (Shield surf as normal. While in the air, press the button for the glider then immediately draw your bow).
By standing against a flat wall, going into your inventory, dropping your equipped bow, equipping another, and dropping it, you can use a bow without using its durability. You'll know you did it right if neither bow drops and when attempting to draw your bow it simply pulls out an arrow by itself.
@@drwily It's actually 1.2.0 specific, I think. It's called 'quick smuggle'. Just btw you have to make sure that you DO NOT have any equipment in link's hands.
So the fan fused onto a shield for powered paragliser flight thing can work, but you have to do a specific glitch to perform it. I don't know the specifics as my timing sucks when it comes to these things, but basically you have to get shocked (like with a shock emitter) while having the weapon or shield that's fused with a zonai device equipped, then when you pick the item back up again the device is powered on while not being actively used (slung on your back and not in hand). A fan-shield glitched in this way will indeed give your paraglider flight propulsion much like Tulin's wind, but you're not going to be using it as a replacement for fanplanes or hoverbikes for getting around Hyrule. As for the wing fused to your shield, while it doesn't add to your aerodynamics while failing it does have a curious effect: If you attempt to "shield surf" (jump then press R+A) with a zonai wing-fused shield you can enter a bullet-time from any surface simply by drawing your bow, even from a completely stationary position on perfectly flat ground. However you will have maybe a second (most likely less) of time to get off your shot before you land, and you will want to cancel the shield surf before you land or else you will be eating dirt. Speaking of shield-surfing, if you fuse frozen meat to your shield you'll be able to use it to surf down any surface even if it isn't covered in ice, snow or grass. It will still wear down your shield's durability, but it's more effective than even fusing a sled to your shield. Just don't try it with frozen gourmet meat or any frozen poultry as that's another combination that will introduce your face with the ground.
When placing any Zonai device next to a Lionel that's about to explode with fire, it will disable the attack. Make sure the device is taken out before the explosion warning happens.
For the box, shield one I think how the games code works is it looks to see what item is attached to the shield which in this case would be a box, and then it would check to see how big a box is, maybe a different smaller item would work
Here's a neat trick I use all the time. If you use Toolin's ability while gliding and quickly do "bullet time > glide > bullet time > glide" you'll gain about 20-25% more speed
Pinecones for balloons is a terrible idea. But instead, use a flame emitter with a torch. The flame emitter makes it rise fast, as long as your battery lasts, but when the battery dies, instead of plummeting, you rise slow because the torch is running, while you're battery recharges
I can’t remember if you did this already, but some projectiles have unique properties. For instance a Zonai Canon projectile can be recalled, Fire and Lightning or as can be parried. All elemental Like projectiles can be blown away with a hustler weapon, and an elemental Eightfold Lingblade will have an elemental effect with a charge attack (Also Blue Chuchu Jellies function exactly like Splash Fruits)
Okay so I commented before I saw you already did the elemental eightfold longblade, but what if you fuse a Gleeok horn? Does it work like a lizalfos or Dragon horn, and if so does it still retain the property of infinite elemental power?
The chu-jelly thing was true in BOTW too, though it felt kinda pointless at the time, I stumbled upon it back then and it was my first thought when they showed of fuse for the first time :D
14:00 The fastest way I've found to rise high quickly is to repeatedly attach rockets to the double-balloon schema you get during gameplay. I used this to get up to the gleeok in the bottom right sky island. (Once you're in the air, the rocket doesn't throw off the balance enough to make it unstable, as you might think.)
Hey, great video! Foremost for the two handed weapon glitch, hope it works on updated versions! Changing elements of jellies was also possible in BotW! And all the meals still work as well, for example it was even necessary to remember old meals for upgrading my favorite horse by the horse fairy!, what's totally new in TotK and is so great, my horse is now faster than ever before, has more endurance and is stronger as well!!! What I really miss is the ancient saddle from BotW, hope it can be found somewhere...
i think the two handed weapon thing is actually more of a game mechanic than a glitch - unlikely to change. It is very practical in a combat situation. imagine your weapon breaks and you are shielding yourself from an enemy. there is a 2 handed weapon near by you pick up since your hands are empty - it would suck if you instantly put your shield away and left yourself vulnerable to attack. so you keep the shield raised and just hold it in one hand
The zonai gear not working with enemies is a good touch. These things work for Link, but that's only because he has the charges to use them, I don't believe that the monsters would be able to get such things from the constructs, since they are the only enemy types to make use of zonai devices. True, NPCs will use the hot air balloons, but those can be used without charges with a torch or any heat source, and yiga make use of vehicles, but being in the depths, they would have the time and the resources to get past the limitations of not having the help of the constructs.
Despite this, NPCs are able to use Zonai devices that WOULD use energy. In Tarrey Town, when you're working on the side quest "Mattison's Independence," Mattison uses the rail car that uses Zonai small wheels to move, despite not having a battery of her own.
I don't know how many know the following, but I found this aspect kinda funny. Context: In BotW, snow boots and sand boots are the only armor pieces, while not tied to a given set, do not disrupt the Gerudo Outfit's disguise if worn in Gerudo Town. It appears the developers have a sense of humor about a set of armor fooling a group of N.P.C.'s , and having unrelated armor not ruining the illusion, as you can do the same with the Yiga Set and the Lightning Helm. If you can get your mitts on all three pieces, you can acquire the Lightning Helm, and as the method of acquiring it involves entering their base, they consider it proof you're on their side, so long as you wear the armor and legs of the Yiga set.
If you spin attack using a eightfold longblade with a rocket attached. When the rocket expires, the eightfold longblade spins like a normal 2 handed weapon.

More elemental stuff: if you fuse a Fire Keese wing to a boomerang does it give a fire effect in addition to the extra distance?
Well, obviously: fusing absolutely any elemental material to a weapon gives that weapon that specific elemental property (as long as the fused material remains fused to the weapon).
yes
Fusing a wing to any shield will give you more distance
hey something i would love for you to mention in the next video is related to the eightfold blade and elemental thing if you attach an ice elemental horn you can charge it up and make a LONG bridge in water also if you fuse a rocket to it you can do a normal spin attack but then it wont stop spinning :)
covering the rocket one for sure
@@drwily alright! thanks so much :D
Fusing a wing onto your shield does have benefits. It allows you to get more height when doing a shield surf. If done correctly, you can go into bullet time (Shield surf as normal. While in the air, press the button for the glider then immediately draw your bow).
You don't have to press the glider button, you can just pull out your bow
covered this in a previous vid
Thank you for including my myth and don’t worry I already expected it to not work
well glad your still happy
This is very interesting
glad you like it
Wait....hold, up Dr. Wily didn't you bully, torment, and even try to kill a small robotic child?
For number 4, all you need is a larger surface to attach the balloon to, so you can be farther away from the fire and not take damage.
Fun fact people are afraid of the following outfits dark link shadow ganon and majora's mask but I haven't tried all the monster masks though.
By standing against a flat wall, going into your inventory, dropping your equipped bow, equipping another, and dropping it, you can use a bow without using its durability. You'll know you did it right if neither bow drops and when attempting to draw your bow it simply pulls out an arrow by itself.
is that glitch still in the game
Hmmmmm
Interesting
Maybe the myth with an enemy holding a rocket-shield doesn‘t work because they have no battery?
Also does a bomb on a shield stop fall damage?
yes and yes ish
16:24 hey sis, I need you to do some floor mopping for me lmao
Basically
@@drwilywell played. I will ask my sister too, and add it's for the sake of science lol
Glitchless version of 11th myth:
Could fusing a shield onto a 2 handed allow you to parry?
it does let you..
@@shadystinks9527 I know, just tryna give some ideas for myths
yeah it does, like the submission but kind of covered this in a past vid
@@drwily alright
For the box, shield one I think how the games code works is it looks to see what item is attached to the shield which in this case would be a box, and then it would check to see how big a box is, maybe a different smaller item would work
hmmm maybe we will see
Myth- If you attach a gleeok horn to a boomerang will it give of the special light from the horn?! I wonder how would it look?
not sure will try
If you wear Evil Spirit armour and try to interact with Koroka, they’ll be frightened and you won’t be able to carry out the conversation.
Here's a neat trick I use all the time. If you use Toolin's ability while gliding and quickly do "bullet time > glide > bullet time > glide" you'll gain about 20-25% more speed
works
Hey, the KSP is doing very important work 😂😂😂
Pinecones for balloons is a terrible idea. But instead, use a flame emitter with a torch. The flame emitter makes it rise fast, as long as your battery lasts, but when the battery dies, instead of plummeting, you rise slow because the torch is running, while you're battery recharges
If you attach a honeycomb to a weapon and use it, it will release a swarm of bees.
Works with multi-shot bows as well
was in a previous vid
@@drwily oh OK, I didn't know
I can’t remember if you did this already, but some projectiles have unique properties. For instance a Zonai Canon projectile can be recalled, Fire and Lightning or as can be parried. All elemental Like projectiles can be blown away with a hustler weapon, and an elemental Eightfold Lingblade will have an elemental effect with a charge attack
(Also Blue Chuchu Jellies function exactly like Splash Fruits)
Okay so I commented before I saw you already did the elemental eightfold longblade, but what if you fuse a Gleeok horn? Does it work like a lizalfos or Dragon horn, and if so does it still retain the property of infinite elemental power?
They have infinite uses, yes.. so that means ice or thunder gleeok horns would be the most overpowered fusion for the 8 fold.
The chu-jelly thing was true in BOTW too, though it felt kinda pointless at the time, I stumbled upon it back then and it was my first thought when they showed of fuse for the first time :D
I always used it to make fires because I never mined unless I needed gems but I always had chuchu jelly
The platform part of it provides enough room to stand back and take out a zonai device while in the air.
Adding a gleeok wing to a boomerang makes it go the farthest of all wings
I haven't seen this one anywhere else, but you can make a powered shield surfing shield by fusing to a homing cart
seen that yeah
It is very practical in a combat situation. imagine your weapon breaks and you are shielding yourself from an enemy. there is a 2 handed weapon near by you pick up since your hands are empty - it would suck if you instantly put your shield away and left yourself vulnerable to attack. so you keep the shield raised and just hold it in one hand
glad you liked this vid! also i didnt know that was even a thing
Amazing video! some things i had no idea could be done in this- despite having 100.00/100%
Glad you liked it!
When he said that we all bully I was thinking about my sister😅
hahahahhaha
Facts
Great video, i especially like using a 2 handed sword in one hand. Thanks
no problem love you
Fusing a spiked-iron-ball to a boomerang won't make it come back to you
If you spin attack using a eightfold longblade with a rocket attached. When the rocket expires, the eightfold longblade spins like a normal 2 handed weapon.
Yes this one is very cool and worth showing
oh will do it than
@@drwily you can also fuse a muddle bud with the eightfold longblade to make the wind gust have the effects of a muddle bud.
You can fuse weapons to the fireballs in the lightning Temple and can be used as a torch
The chuchu jelly thing was something you could do in BOTW too
Yup
Gleeok? that's King Ghidorah dude, someone call Toho's legal department
Lmao
2:00 Nintendo knew it would be too powerful lol
