I definitely love the basement and watching them with that mod was great. I remember early on someone made a mod where you can control a guardian and it's basically a tank
3:45 the overall creative force behind TP was basically A) "So they didn't like Wind Takt, eh? They want a game more realistic? Well, we'll give em that" and B) "They want more Ocarina of Time, eh? Well let's mess with them a little" everything about it sort of followed those lines, you go to a forest dungeon, then fire, then water.. but the fire one hints at bombs, but doesn't give them to you. and the water one fakes you out with Morpha but it's actually something else. You get not only a wooden shield but a wooden SWORD, and then... immediately never use them again. It's all riffing. The change in the kokko behavior is just one of those things meant to fake you out, I think. 4:40 I am AMAZED that that is true. How did I never think of it? how did I never read about it in online guides when I was struggling? 13:50 no shock, his legs are so small. he can't be kicking you as he rolls. 14:00 just to be pedantic, you can totally save the day without him XD it's just hard. Also holy hell, that glitch is awesome! I wish his spirit form in TotK let you ride on his back in water. Would have realllly saved time. 16:30 it's salt water, of course it doesn't work.

Cuccos can actually be killed in Link’s Awkening, if you hit them with the magic rod. And if I remember correctly, the same is true for LttP with the fire or ice rods. And hitting cuccos with fire based abilities in BOTW / TOTK nets you some cooked bird meat. They’re not as invincible as one might have thought. As for TP, why they have you control the cucco is a very obscure secret, but there’s a treasure ( I think it was a silver rupee, but it’s been ages for me ), that you can ONLY get while controlling one.
have you done the shad softlock or gotten the green chu jelly in twilight princess yet? for the shad softlock you progress until you and shad find the broken cannon then save before you ask him to leave the room. when you reload the game will be softlocked. i can confirm its on the wii version (because that's the version i had) and its supposed to be on the gamecube version, but there's a rumor that nintendo forgot to patch it in HD until after it released. the green chu jelly is an item you get from an enemy that only exists due to an oversight in the game. in the cave of trials there's one specific room where you can find both a blue chu and a yellow chu. take out every other chu in the room then wait for the two to merge. the result is the cut "green chu" and you can scoop up the jelly in a bottle. it works in all versions, but only the HD version has a description. it also does absolutely nothing when you drink it. also i've heard but not tried this, but there's a weathervane on either flyby's or fyer's house and if you hit it with either the hookshot or an arrow it'll stop turning and the platforms at the end of flight-by-fowl wont move during the minigame.
For the cucco collection in kakariko village, I bet they every actor in the map has an ID, and only once every cucco with the correct IDs is brought to the pen, will that condition be met to get the bottle.
For the boars it could be because they are spawned with an enemy, putting them in that category. I don't remember if they spawn unmounted or not, it's been years since I played TP
I heard that the Ancient Guardians can be easily killed by flipping them and striking the circular space on their undersides. Also, Cucco can be used in some Zelda games to kill enemies by damaging one till it is about to do the infinite summon (where they rampantly swarm Link). Then you get an enemy to land the last hit and apparently, they will instead attack nearby enemies. (I know that this works in BOTW, but have never tried it in other games; might make interesting footage if it works in other games).
Speaking of twilight princess, you can use the hawk to grab a cuckoo for you! You can try this in ordon village. The hawk will swoop down, grab the cuckoo and bring it to you!
In twilight princess You can combine blue chu jelly and yellow to make green and scoop up for a green potion because they was going to put magic meter in the game but kept the way to make the potion in just does nothing Long time subsciber I'm glad you've been doing well over the past decade
In Echoes of Wisdom, the puzzles involving Sparks in the "Let's Play a Game" side quest can be cheated by using echoes, but I'm not sure if the originals need to be destroyed for it to happen.
They don't. You just need to deposit the same number of Spark echoes into the "goal" as you see roaming around the room. Two Sparks? Two echoes. Three Sparks? Three echoes.
In MM: if you play the song of healing to the poe collector he will give you some interesting dialogue and let you play the poe area for a discounted rate.
You CAN in breath of the wild temporarily tame that glowy ghost spirit thing that has a horse-ish body. But it disappears when day breaks. As far as I know there is no way to keep it and you can't put it in the stables. The stable master freaks out
Bomb a Gossip stone in Ocarina of Time. It will blink different colors (red/green) before shooting off into the sky like a rocket, and then regrowing. Hit the Gossip Stone when it is a different color for that split second (I think I used Deku Stick), and it will stay that color. I think players doing this is what inspired a little minigame somewhere in Majora's Mask where you do this
in tears of the kingdom, if you hug a climbable surface while swimming, climb it when your stamina is low, then lose all your stamina climbing, you'll get a bit of stamina back. then just keep doing it to go pretty far.
@@drwily swim at the edge of a body of water with places you can climb, like by the hills surrounding lake hylia, and get your stamina down to red, and lose the rest of it by climbing the hills, hitting the water will refill your stamina. as long as you lose your stamina by climbing the walls and hitting the water, you can swim indefinitely. sorry if my explanation sucks, its kinda hard to explain without a way for me to show you, lol
About the Lynel, you are half correct and half wrong. In fact in Breath of the Wild you can tame a lynel and ride it around. I have done this several times. You CANNOT bring it to a stable and check it in and keep it. Once you get off of it, you can get right back on. If it takes off you will not be able to ride it again. It has to be just about defeated. One or two hits left, then you have to have meals to give you three stamina wheels. You cannot tame it at this point in tears of the kingdom. I have tried the same method over and over with no luck. Even had enough meals to give myself 10 wheels. It didnt work.
If you make it on top of the bell tower on the 1st day in majoras’ mask, what would happen there? Do you face the skull kid like an NPC or does it trigger the final hour stuff?
When i said moblins would lay on the beds, i meant the echo moblins. I guess i wasnt specific enough on the myth description. but now its a bit late, huh
I got one myth that is clearly only provable by the creator .... At fighting majoras mask , when you use the ocarina there is that sound that is made when the ocarina is about to do something . Maybe its just doing that sound so you know the sound of time is doable BUT i think at some point in development they tough maybe that the sound of healing would do something . I dont remember clearly but i THINK that the fairy or majoras respond something about it ... maybe at specific form . Can you imagine realizing today that there was supposed to be a good ending where you could heal majoras or something . Clearly it doesnt do anything sadly but just like the Deku at the start of the game and the end credit .... we will never know .
Now I know what to do next time I play TP, also you can incinerate cuckos in link awakening with the fire rod and maybe with the magic powder (not sure if the switch remake you can, but you definitively can on the game boy ones)
Since we're picking on Kafei, did you know you can attack the cursed family in the House of Skulltula in OoT? You can't kill them, but hit them enough and they will retaliate. Actually I feel like you've already covered this. Apologies if you have.

All right on one of your ocarina of time myth videos I gave you a big list with getting the fire arrows early at the bottom of it. Sad to say I'm thrown in the towel. I have tried probably everything and I just can't replicate it I was even doing it on the cart that I originally played it on and I just can't do it so I'm throwing in the towel for that. Such a shame, but I am keeping the save just in case I remember something else that might work for it.
well sad to hear that nothing worked, if you find a way let me know, i also cant find anything when looking online i think the time and effort you put in is epic though
well your going down hill so gravity is helping you if your heavier, but just like anything with high momentum and weight, stopping is hard and the start up is rather slow
Sing the first clip in the video reminded me when I took on a guardian and it went flying towards Hyrule castle after I attacked it I didn’t even use any of the powers I just attacked it with a sword and it went flying towards the castle and I was in shock
Dr wily did you know in ocarina of time that in ganons castle theres a hidden room in the hub with a ton of fairies and 4 business scrubs? Its under the stone bridge hidden behind a lens of truth wall. Also theres a hidden song of storms grotto in sacred forest meadow. Its in the right corner opposite from the gossip stone, and sarias stump.
Interesting video will try watching the others later. not sure if you tried this before but heres a strange one I know of: Despite being the largest character in the game larger than the goron Fierce Deity Link can be grabbed by redeads (may require cheating) and I think its the same with those flowers in woodfall temple but not sure of that one.
One of the shadow beast close to the forest temple after defeat, the shadow beast can fall through the ground by the tree at the entrance, don't know if it's in the gamecube version or the Wii U version
I remember there being some bug i used to use in breath of the wild with crouching and putting down apples to save myself from guardians it is probably well documented online so look it up for the steps

I hope to see the infinite heart exploit in ocarina of time, where you speak we're the gravedigger at night and get him to dig up the graves. You have a chance to get a heart piece from it each time, and even when you get it l, the chance doesn't go away, meaning you can keep paying him to dig them up and go past the maximum heart count
@drwily no worries happy to do so in Majora's Mask if you bomb jump over into Great Bay on Day one and clear the oceanside spider house you get the adult wallet not giant wallet and when you give the bank 200 rupees you obtain the giants wallet also when you fight the many mid boss fights of wizrobes you can use the mirror shield to bounce off their magical attacks
Hmm.. with all your hate for the chickens, im surprised you didnt go on a cuckoo murder spree on the "Link's Awakening" on the original gameboy color.. just spray a little magic powder on them and they burn right up leaving a ruppee or something where they stood.. then again, they never did anything so wrong to warrant being burned. Right?
Funny thing you can heal broken signs in OOT and OOT3D by playing Zelda's Lullaby for some reason. But the important thing is if i am recalling correctly in Spirit Tracks for the DS you can actually heal signs you break by playing the Song of Healing on your spirit flute in the overworld however in the European version the song is renamed to Song of Recovery for some reason. Though i never completely understood why the signs could be healed in the first place especially in OOT with the Lullaby while the song of healing kinda makes sense as it's in the name but let's be real here you would think the song of time would be the thing to heal the signs in Majora's Mask and OOT as it turns back time or is about time in general
You can steal the hat from the owner of the fish pond in Ocarina of Time. You just need to cast your fishing line at him. For those that don’t know. His response is pretty funny.

everything about it sort of followed those lines, you go to a forest dungeon, then fire, then water.. but the fire one hints at bombs, but doesn't give them to you. and the water one fakes you out with Morpha but it's actually something else.
16:30 it's salt water, of course it doesn't work.
tbh i do like what they did with tp, loved wind waker as well but i certainly like tp more
also yes 4:40 blew my mind as well, it makes a lot of sense but I NEVER heard anyone mention this
also 16:30, yeah makes sense irl but who knows if Nintendo really kept that in mind
I tried the cucco in the pen thing when I was a kid.
As for TP, why they have you control the cucco is a very obscure secret, but there’s a treasure ( I think it was a silver rupee, but it’s been ages for me ), that you can ONLY get while controlling one.
hmmm screenshotting this
have you done the shad softlock or gotten the green chu jelly in twilight princess yet?
for the shad softlock you progress until you and shad find the broken cannon then save before you ask him to leave the room. when you reload the game will be softlocked. i can confirm its on the wii version (because that's the version i had) and its supposed to be on the gamecube version, but there's a rumor that nintendo forgot to patch it in HD until after it released.
the green chu jelly is an item you get from an enemy that only exists due to an oversight in the game. in the cave of trials there's one specific room where you can find both a blue chu and a yellow chu. take out every other chu in the room then wait for the two to merge. the result is the cut "green chu" and you can scoop up the jelly in a bottle. it works in all versions, but only the HD version has a description. it also does absolutely nothing when you drink it.
also i've heard but not tried this, but there's a weathervane on either flyby's or fyer's house and if you hit it with either the hookshot or an arrow it'll stop turning and the platforms at the end of flight-by-fowl wont move during the minigame.
screenshotting for both, i got like a buch of specific saves for tp at different points
That's embarrassing, I could have sworn i remembered that the Stockpot bell could be blown up.
doesnt look like it
2:00 Echoes doesn't have nearly as many interaction as the switch games. You cant even burn grass if you are on fire.
Echoes is a Switch Game.
well it is a 2d title so certainly more limited
For the cucco collection in kakariko village, I bet they every actor in the map has an ID, and only once every cucco with the correct IDs is brought to the pen, will that condition be met to get the bottle.
oh yeah 1000%
For the boars it could be because they are spawned with an enemy, putting them in that category. I don't remember if they spawn unmounted or not, it's been years since I played TP
they always spawn with moblins, so yeah prob that
I heard that the Ancient Guardians can be easily killed by flipping them and striking the circular space on their undersides.
Also, Cucco can be used in some Zelda games to kill enemies by damaging one till it is about to do the infinite summon (where they rampantly swarm Link). Then you get an enemy to land the last hit and apparently, they will instead attack nearby enemies. (I know that this works in BOTW, but have never tried it in other games; might make interesting footage if it works in other games).
screenshotting this for both of them
Speaking of twilight princess, you can use the hawk to grab a cuckoo for you!
You can try this in ordon village. The hawk will swoop down, grab the cuckoo and bring it to you!
i did this in a previous video ;)
In twilight princess You can combine blue chu jelly and yellow to make green and scoop up for a green potion because they was going to put magic meter in the game but kept the way to make the potion in just does nothing
Long time subsciber I'm glad you've been doing well over the past decade
In Echoes of Wisdom, the puzzles involving Sparks in the "Let's Play a Game" side quest can be cheated by using echoes, but I'm not sure if the originals need to be destroyed for it to happen.
They don't. You just need to deposit the same number of Spark echoes into the "goal" as you see roaming around the room. Two Sparks? Two echoes. Three Sparks? Three echoes.

In MM: if you play the song of healing to the poe collector he will give you some interesting dialogue and let you play the poe area for a discounted rate.

Cool video bro.
You CAN in breath of the wild temporarily tame that glowy ghost spirit thing that has a horse-ish body. But it disappears when day breaks. As far as I know there is no way to keep it and you can't put it in the stables.
The stable master freaks out
ahhh yeah the horse lord, bit too well known sadly enough, been covered to death tbh
Bomb a Gossip stone in Ocarina of Time. It will blink different colors (red/green) before shooting off into the sky like a rocket, and then regrowing.
Hit the Gossip Stone when it is a different color for that split second (I think I used Deku Stick), and it will stay that color. I think players doing this is what inspired a little minigame somewhere in Majora's Mask where you do this
i covered these in older vids
in tears of the kingdom, if you hug a climbable surface while swimming, climb it when your stamina is low, then lose all your stamina climbing, you'll get a bit of stamina back. then just keep doing it to go pretty far.
wait what??? i dont get it
@@drwily swim at the edge of a body of water with places you can climb, like by the hills surrounding lake hylia, and get your stamina down to red, and lose the rest of it by climbing the hills, hitting the water will refill your stamina. as long as you lose your stamina by climbing the walls and hitting the water, you can swim indefinitely.
sorry if my explanation sucks, its kinda hard to explain without a way for me to show you, lol
In sacred forest meadow ( Oot ), if timed right , you can push the moblins in the water. Funny enough, they won't drown and they still attack you !!!

Only a few guardians are susceptible to clipping through the ground.
If you make it on top of the bell tower on the 1st day in majoras’ mask, what would happen there? Do you face the skull kid like an NPC or does it trigger the final hour stuff?
doing this just triggers the normal cutscene but everything around you looks off, for example its day
Hey Doc, did you know in Echoes of Wisdom that you can call your horse by summoning a Carrot Echo?
i do!
3:47,it’s because you can become a wolf,so why not a cuco,for a short time
Wtf? I never knew you could control the chickens in TP.😮
When i said moblins would lay on the beds, i meant the echo moblins. I guess i wasnt specific enough on the myth description. but now its a bit late, huh
I now need a follow-up...
hmmm aii screenshotting this again for take 2 lmao
I got one myth that is clearly only provable by the creator .... At fighting majoras mask , when you use the ocarina there is that sound that is made when the ocarina is about to do something . Maybe its just doing that sound so you know the sound of time is doable BUT i think at some point in development they tough maybe that the sound of healing would do something . I dont remember clearly but i THINK that the fairy or majoras respond something about it ... maybe at specific form . Can you imagine realizing today that there was supposed to be a good ending where you could heal majoras or something .
Clearly it doesnt do anything sadly but just like the Deku at the start of the game and the end credit .... we will never know .
uhhhh not sure what you mean but i will try to do what you say, aka play the song of healing during the final fight
Now I know what to do next time I play TP, also you can incinerate cuckos in link awakening with the fire rod and maybe with the magic powder (not sure if the switch remake you can, but you definitively can on the game boy ones)
screenshotting this
Since we're picking on Kafei, did you know you can attack the cursed family in the House of Skulltula in OoT? You can't kill them, but hit them enough and they will retaliate.
Actually I feel like you've already covered this. Apologies if you have.
no need for apologies! but yes i have covered this in a dedicated oot myths video, still love you thoughhhhh
does something happen when you enrage another Cucco while having an Cuccos' Revenge alredy active?
*The following are the musings of a Salty SEAGULL named EARL who just shows up in my posts whenever he feels like it!*
[EARL the Salty SEAGULL:] 3:20 - "I here the CUCCO REVENGE SQUAD went on strike cause Twilight Princess neglected to put Octoroks in the game which ruined their Zelda game perfect attendance record!" 10:36 - "Now try it in the 3DS version! Seriously, I want to see if Nintendo patched it or left it alone!" 16:30 - "Dude, just play the Song of Storms! Seriously, it makes watering plants easy!"
not sure if autism or avant-garde comedy. I'll say the latter.
It doesn't work. You end up right outside the closest. You know I had to wait the entire day to test this because the Song of Double Time does not work in the house.
Such a shame, but I am keeping the save just in case I remember something else that might work for it.
well sad to hear that nothing worked, if you find a way let me know, i also cant find anything when looking online
i think the time and effort you put in is epic though
4:38 Weird, because that makes no sense to me. Wouldn’t you need to be propelled harder to move faster with increased weight?
well your going down hill so gravity is helping you if your heavier, but just like anything with high momentum and weight, stopping is hard and the start up is rather slow
@@drwilyOh yeah, I didn’t consider the downhill part lol
Congrats on your membership, even though I know you paid for it! 👏🎉
oehhh good ones, screenshotting these and will put it in my special folder!
Interesting video will try watching the others later. not sure if you tried this before but heres a strange one I know of: Despite being the largest character in the game larger than the goron Fierce Deity Link can be grabbed by redeads (may require cheating) and I think its the same with those flowers in woodfall temple but not sure of that one.
screenshotting this because i havent messed around with that yet
One of the shadow beast close to the forest temple after defeat, the shadow beast can fall through the ground by the tree at the entrance, don't know if it's in the gamecube version or the Wii U version
hmmmm this is in twilight princess right? screenshotting this for sure, also thank you SO MUCH for becoming a member i highly appreciate it!
@@drwily np, I check and it was the gamecube version I saw it in a low quality video from 16 year called "Twilight Princess: Twilit Messenger Glitch"
I remember there being some bug i used to use in breath of the wild with crouching and putting down apples to save myself from guardians it is probably well documented online so look it up for the steps
cant find anything tbh
@drwily yeah I guess it is pretty obscure and pointless
@drwily I am looking into improvements for SM64 RN so I kinda forgot a lot about the glitch
My daughter did the guardian thing all the time. She did not care about the parts. She never fought them
lmao
You can roll into a skullwalltilla in oot and you don’t take damage
snipping this
Tears are salt water, so they wouldn't grow a plant
:(
In Ocarina of Time, if you already have the Zora's tunic when defrosting the King Zora he will offer you... Other thing instead of the tunic lol (you can get one defrosting the shop before defrosting the King and buying it for... 200 rupees?)
hmmm might test this but i would need a very specific save file for it
I hope to see the infinite heart exploit in ocarina of time, where you speak we're the gravedigger at night and get him to dig up the graves. You have a chance to get a heart piece from it each time, and even when you get it l, the chance doesn't go away, meaning you can keep paying him to dig them up and go past the maximum heart count
do iron boots rolling on wind waker hd
I look forward to when you get a chance to test the myths I told you about in Majora's Mask. I am sure you are very busy.
can you please repeat them here seems to have lost them, i checked my folder and dont see your name
Didn’t the guy say circus performer’s mask *or the song of storms?*
yeah but song of storms was tested in an older video
@@drwily did it work?
I thought the mask watering worked in the 3ds version cuz I swear I tried it and it worked.
hmmm might retry
8:19 try it again in The Remake
hmmm i might, i mean including something completely new could also be good
0:34 according to *_GOKU_*
yeah the one and only!
Can you use Cuccos in Echoes of Wisdom to get enemy echoes?
nope because you cant really get a cucco echo
You can carry a cuccoo into battle tho!
Zelda myth number 15: she aint link
A secret i found is when you play a zelda game you have a fun time could you test that for me?
hmmmmmm i might....
also depends on the game lmao, i do not enjoy triforce heroes
@drwily we don't talk about triforce heros it was just a fever dream
i randomly remembered this guy and he sounds the EXACT same as he did so long ago 😭😭😭
hahahah well sort of, the voice changed a bit compared to like 2017 or 18
Let's swim on the air 🌚🌚
I have controlled a cuco many times In twilight princess 😂. It is still crazy 😂😂😂
3:27 in links awakening, the cuckoos can be roasted.
this is on the list
You lost your copy of BotW? That’s unfortunate. You have cloud saves tho, right?
yeah but i FOUND IT, a friend of mine borrowed it years ago and i am getting it back friday
crazy hw this video just exposed a bunch of liars
fax
❤❤❤
Hmm.. with all your hate for the chickens, im surprised you didnt go on a cuckoo murder spree on the "Link's Awakening" on the original gameboy color.. just spray a little magic powder on them and they burn right up leaving a ruppee or something where they stood.. then again, they never did anything so wrong to warrant being burned. Right?
yeah i got this on the list as well
#hoodlesszelda
hiii
hey :)
HEY DOC another Myth and it's real, If you kill a Redead and another Redead can Revive the Dead one that's why they always Crouch next to the Dead ones try it!! I've seen it happened
Uhmm.. dude you sound desperate for money 🤔😐
always brother, i am dutch after all (no its more that if you NEVER mention memberships or anything NO ONE will even think about it, advertising of anything is key)
Hey Wily, I've heard on Majoras Mask you can use Troupe Leaders Mask during milk escort and the brothers won't attack
The Circus Leader's Mask
@hanburgundy4317 Yeah sorry, Troupe Leaders Mask, fixed it now
true and this has been featured in a video already
The new Zelda game at least has content and is more like a Zelda game than breath of the wild wasn’t ever.
well both have there strengths imo
