Riju is the only one of the 5 sages that has a hidden text bubble pop up when you walk up to them with their signature weapon (aka the Scimitar of the Seven), I wish all the sages did this with their respective weapons, but only Riju does. It's a small little detail, but I quite like it, since it does fit Riju's personality.

Actually, all the Sages does this, it’s mainly the weapon (As stated earlier with Riju and her weapon.) It’s just hard to get it with some due to some of the other Sage’s size. (like Yunobo and Sidon.) And since their AI makes it hard for you to take a pic of them (Camera shy I guess.)
In TOTK, there are some koroks where you have to lift a big spheric rock from a hole and put it on a 3-branched wood support. And if you remember in BOTW, there were koroks that required you to push the same kind of spheric rock in a hole. These koroks are located at the exact same place in TOTK and BOTW!
Stalnox eyes start falling out of their skulls when they are below half health and you shoot them in the eye. That is why the dazzle fruit-to-the-eye strategy didn’t work consistently. The dazzle fruit didn’t do anything, it was just the arrow.
If you attach a zonai wing device to mineru's back and jump of (for example) a sky island and activate the wing with the y button, she can glide. In addition, no matter from how high you fall, Mineru will prevent any fall damge as long as you mount her. Another fun fact is that the flux construct level 1 one on the tutorial area has less health than any other Flux construct level 1.
Recall CAN return thrown things for damage. Stand on a rock in the water away from underground stalnox. It will throw TNT barrels. Recall them back to it for damage. Still have to close to get the eye at the end.
You can make your tarry town house go into the sky by attaching hoverstones and rockets in the building mode and activating them. Then you just have to talk to the house guy and say your done and your house will float forever.
There is a weird glitch with the durability of the master sword. The first time you get it from the light dragon it is at max durability (wich i think is 40) if you fuze an item to it, it will gain 25 extra durability. But if you ever break it/make it run out of energy it will never add that 25 durability again and will just stay at 40. You can see it never reaches max durability by the fact it never has that sparkling star in the top right to indicate a weapon hasn't used up any durability.
Its not just rails that do no damage while shield surfing. Its also, sand, snow, and dirt roads. At least that was the case in the last game. By the way, you don't need to spend a lot of time testing this if you use a brand new shield that sparkles in your inventory. Just test it, and see if it still sparkles. If it does, then it took no damage.
If you fuse a korok to your horse thowing equipment and you run op to his buddy. You can whistle to your horse to bring the korok to you. Very useful for uphill koroks.
About that hover stone myth, you can attach a hover stone to Mineru to get a slow falling effect and you also get a weird walking animation while slowly falling. Also, you can attach rockets to Mineru's arms and launch them at enemies, but I can't hit anything and was wondering if this would deal huge damage. Please test this.
Sadly, no, it doesn't really do huge damage. I did this right after getting her. The damage is...decent (much like anything you fuse to her arms.) but I'd recommend a cannon over a rocket just for reusability.
@@stellar1463 I mean, any ranged weapon on Mineru can harm Link if you're in the wrong area when it fires. I've actually gotten hit by flame emitters and lasers more than I've been hit by cannon blasts from her. Granted, it's all up to chance anyways. You've probably had better luck with lasers.

You don’t need to wait until something breaks to test durability! Anything with full durability will have a little sparkle on it when viewing it in menus. This allows you to test most durability related questions much faster. Also the dazzlefruit arrows on a stalnox eye wasn’t inconsistent. You were just missing. Just use bullet time!!!!!!!!!!!! Also the talus heart auto reflection works like the ancient shield auto reflect in botw. It’s basically an automatic parry for projectiles, so just like a parry it doesn’t reflect arrows. It needs to be something you can actually reflect with a normal parry Also the ancient blade didn’t kill any of the hands any of the times. There were still five left after the first one
attaching cannons to mineru will literally make her an absolute MONSTER. for some reason the cannons dont hurt you, but it will knock the other sages over.
Wearing the froggy armour will keep you wet longer than without it on. You can use this to keep the Zora weapon buff when it gets wet. Please try this Dr. Wily
Also, I think for the stalnox, the reason why the eye popped out was because you shot it when the stalnox was at half health, not because of the dazzle fruit (when you hit a stalnox eye at half health, it will always pop out).
As I suggested in the last video comment section, If you fuse an ancient blade to an arrow and shoot a Bokoblin boss with a pack following him / her, without being spotted. The pack will start moarning their lost.

When you block arrows with a wooden shield so they get stuck in it. it will increase the damage when you parry an enemy at meele. more arrows more dmg.
You can make a floating house by starting to build it getting ten odd rockets and ten odd hoverstones to make it float then talk to the guy he'll inspect it then you can enjoy
When high in the sky wear the Glide suite armor & as you're flying forward with your paraglider, press B immediately followed by X to quickly close & reopen your paraglider (B+X) while continuing ahead as normal & the result is you'll paraglide just a little bit faster than before. It's useful between waiting for Tulin's gust to reload.

In a previous video (5) you scared a korok with a stal head for humerus results. And in this you fused an arm to one resulting in squat. What if you used one to chase a korok to his friend of his own volition? Would it work? Also can you ultrahand and thus fuse stalnox ribs? If so how?
You need to redo the shield parry mushroom myth with more variables. Try it with a lower stat shield (i.e. The potlid you mentioned.) The higher the shield's number effects what weapons/enemies it will/will not disarm/parry.

My comment is under the presumption that the number on a shield has something to do with your ability to disarm or parry high tier enemies. Basically meaning the mushroom was pointless. Have you tried using a multi-shot bow and fused ancient blade against the gloom hands? If one ancient arrow has the possibility of destroying a gloom hand and damaging others, surely a multi-shot bow, which multiplies the fused material, would have the potential (if you’re lucky) to 17:44 take out multiple hands at once and damage several others in the process.
You can get a railing part from the right leg depot by attaching 2 stabilizers perpendicular to one of the ones facing outwards, and activating them. They have a very cool low gravity effect, and you can de attach them from each other when autobuilding them without them disappearing, which is strange
Hey! Thanks for featuring my comment! I have another myth you could try, in Hyrule Castle there are certain pieces that break off when stepping on them, then they can be fused to any weapon or shield.
Actually, using Recall on the rib did deal damage to the Stalnox... Just a very tiny, almost unnoticeable amount. Same goes for the boulders a Stone Talus throws. I know for the Stone Talus that will also briefly stun them, but it didn't look to do that to the Stalnox. It would be cool if fusing a hoverboard to your shield let you shield surf in the air, like an alternative paraglider. For balancing purposes, your shield would still be damaged and break, meaning it wouldn't be a permanent alternative, and perhaps it might also be harder to steer, making it better when going in a straight line but worse if you need to turn at all, but it would be cool.
if you have the full glide set equipped, then start a glide by jumping off of a ledge and pressing R, if you then press B and X soon after each other you will keep your glide momentum and go SUPER fast. it's very clear if you teleport to the shrine next to dueling peaks stable, so maybe try it there.
If you give a enemie one of the weapons of ganon, will they loose health eventually? And what about with a weapon fused to a dragon part, will they heal?

Hey Doctor, here are some tricks worth trying using „Ascend“: 1. You can use it under Stone Taluses and dig straight trough them to get on their backs. 2. You can use it, when you physically lift a small, round rock and then let it fall down where you stand. Immediately use „Ascend“ to get through it. After that you’re able to use the bullet time mode, when using a bow, for a short period of time. Alternatively, you can do the same thing using „Ultrahand“ and bigger, platform-like objects, if you doing it correctly.
I know a way to farm mushrooms and weapons without any resources. There is an article on Nintendo news on your switch all about attaching mushrooms to weapons, and it has a button at the bottom that says Start The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. When you press the button, it opens the game, and when the game starts a soldiers broadsword and Hyland shroom will fall from the sky. Then you save and close the game, and repeat the process again. It will take awhile to get a lot of mushrooms and swords, but it takes absolutely no resources. You do need amibo to be turned on in the game for it to work, though. The article name is "Mushroom attack! Make combat more fun(gi) with these items." Please put this in your next Mythbusting video. You won't be disappointed. I’m wondering about something regarding the torch. If you fuse a torch to your shield and then set yourself on fire via an explosion or venturing into Death Mountain, could you actually light the torch while it’s fused to your shield?
In case you didn't know yet, you can stun a lynel over and over after you mounted it by hitting it headshot twice with an arrow fused with a muddle bud. You can easily do it too with a multi shotl bow
So there are a few items where a lynels roar or whatever you call it can’t destroy auto build but the game will keep trying to break it so making the Lynel “tamed” and you can do whatever you want with him.
To be more specific a u shaped block and a rail in the right leg depot to get the rail stick two stabilizers on the side rail and It should come off you and they are very light and if you make one in auto build you can take off what we you want and it won’t break and the u block if you continue you will find it where you glue the right leg onto a rail you will also need two of them because if you attach ex:Apple the lynel will break both but there should be two in the right leg depot
If you search up how to make a rail jet a few videos it will show you how to get them I recommend the rail because it is easier but it tame the lynel just auto build the rail and but it close to the lynel
There's a fun glitch where you can make three Lynels fight each other in the dephs coliseum. All you have to do is defeat all Lynels, then place a travel medalion in the two cages to the right of the coliseum, then wait for a blood moon and the just travel to the two medalions placed and whipe out both of the lynels in those cages using ancient blades. Then you just have to enter the coliseum normally, and three Lynels wil be released at once. You can eighter try to fight then on a three to one combat or throw muddle bud atthem, and et them fight each other. It really works and is a lot of fun!
For dazzlefruit and stalnox: if you continue to hit the crit for the eye even with low damage items it will drop the eye but the same HP approximately after 5 or so hits regardless of item usage. You can pick up the eye with uktrahand to mess with the stalnox but really it just shifts the body part that takes damage from the body to the eye.
No the dazzle fruit does work you just didn’t hit his eye but once lol. It makes a specific sound when hit it so you’ll know. Watching the video only one arrow actually hit his eye. That’s when his eye fell out.
You can actually make bokoblins and lizalfos stay in ragdoll position forever. Go into bullet time, stun it, freeze it, and fire a ruby at the ground near the enemy. Make sure to do all of this in bullet time or it won’t work. If done correctly, it will stay in ragdoll position for a long time after.
sidon's water shield also allows you to use wooden items (shield, melee, bow) without them catching fire. so for example you can use a forest spear with a dazzle fruit in hot areas in the depths, or the forest bow etc
If you encounter Gloom Hands during the early game and don't want to fight them yet, just climb a tree, wall or cliff (you may need to run a short distance first). They appear to be stuck to the ground they come out of and will throw a bit of a tantrum if you've climbed out of reach and will then disappear in a puff of smoke leaving 1-3 Dark Clumps behind. I've found this only works outdoors on the surface, so not in caves or in the depths - basically anywhere where you can see the sky. The ones that appear in caves/depths still flail at you if you're out of reach, but they won't retreat back into the ground.
Haven't tested this yet, but can you use items like splash fruits or opals to make enemies wet, so you can follow up with an electric attack and do extra damage? It seems to work if you throw it at yourself at least, I did so I could get the damage boost from the Zora weapons.
I found if you fall from a height that will kill you, or if an enemy attack wipes out all your hearts, if you click the plus button before the hearts have finished completely wiping out and eat a meal, you can survive. Useful if you run out of stamina while flying or if you are halfway through killing a boss and he hits you!
can you ride a wing upside down? i fell off a cliff and landed on one upside down and it worked for a second, but it was early game and i didnt know what i was doing
there's a glitch you can do where you fuse a zonai item to your shield, drop & activate a shock emitter, and when you zap yourself and drop your shield it activates the zonai item. it then STAYS activated when you pick the shield up and equip it. that may be what raneisha (ray-knee-shuh) was referring to. also, try fusing the bomb to an arrow and shooting it from sidon's water wall. i've seen videos where the bomb doesn't explode until it makes contact.
@@drwilyAnd what about using a elemental weapon with a set that gives another one (like using the charged set at a storm with an ice effect weapon), will it have both effects? And if it is the same element, will it cause more damage?
Charged Attack makes an elemental cloud if you're in ideal weather conditions and it's independent of gleeok weapons as their elemental properties are always active when doing a charged swing. So ice and lightning can be comboed in either stormy (Farosh) or cold weather (Naydra) to generate an electro dome as a result, followed by the usual 3x shatter damage effect. Dinrall set's fire breath charged atracks during hot weather in combination to lightning Gleeok Sword can permanently stun enemies to death.. assuming said enemy is not immune to fire or electric. Other than that, the weather boosting effects gives an overall 10%-50% boost to numerical damage in said ideal weather conditions, similar to Fierce Deity and Berserker.
try teleporting to the 'Ulri Mountain' skyview tower at night (try at around 21:30 in game, even though night begins at 21:00 it might not trigger properly). There is a moblin who is visible from the tower that falls over in a strange way
use for that lizal behaviour: get a cage from one of those monster fortresses, add a hydrant to the inside, spawn it over the lizal, put a floor under it so he is trapped inside, now attach electric motors to the outside of the cage and put on the lightning helm, climb on top of the cage and turn on the hydrant.
Here’s another one. For some reason, you can ultrahand and build with a sign (the ones you find near Hudson Construction materials) if you cut it off the post, but you can’t fuse it to your weapon.
Fusing a stake to an arrow allows you to go down places and get back up when you recall it. Really useful for the Depths or Koroks bc you can attach Koroks to the stake.
if you go to the woman in the icehouse in gerudo after completing the quest and talk to her whilst wearing the yiga set she makes a very strange sound. sounds kinda like a quack. might just be the british version though, if thats a thing
Not only does the lilypad cancel fall damage, if you land on one when doing an skydive, Link does a 3 point superhero landing.
The upside to landing on a lily pad is that Link can regain stamina that was used up gliding where he c
ould otherwise drown before reaching land.

That electric lizalfos thing isn't just something you can do for extra challenge. They can happen in the rain forest area when it rains

Technically, you can one hit kill all 5 gloom hands with only one ancient blade, but I’m pretty sure you need a 5 shot bow.

Recall doesn’t deal damage, but you actually can parry the ribs of a Stalnox back and deal damage.
Actually, if you go back and slow down the video, it shows damage being dealt if you look at the lifebar, just not a LOT of damage.

Glide suit only boosts speed in dive, which you use L to activate, not B.

If you recall a weapon (not bow) as an octorok spits it out. It will kill the octorok and you won’t have to worry about dodging it.

@@drwilylol, I suppose I still don't understand what the number on shields mean. My comment is under the presumption that the number on a shield has something to do with your ability to disarm or parry high tier enemies. Basically meaning the mushroom was pointless.

Have you tried using a multi-shot bow and fused ancient blade against the gloom hands? If one ancient arrow has the possibility of destroying a gloom hand and damaging others, surely a multi-shot bow, which multiplies the fused material, would have the potential (if you’re lucky) to 17:44 take out multiple hands at once and damage several others in the process.

You can get a railing part from the right leg depot by attaching 2 stabilizers perpendicular to one of the ones facing outwards, and activating them. They have a very cool low gravity effect, and you can de attach them from each other when autobuilding them without them disappearing, which is strange

Hey! Thanks for featuring my comment! I have another myth you could try, in Hyrule Castle there are certain pieces that break off when stepping on them, then they can be fused to any weapon or shield.

100% true, the path to zeldas study breaks when ur about half way across it. they will fall down and allow u to fuse them to an item
Actually, using Recall on the rib did deal damage to the Stalnox... Just a very tiny, almost unnoticeable amount. Same goes for the boulders a Stone Talus throws. I know for the Stone Talus that will also briefly stun them, but it didn't look to do that to the Stalnox.
It would be cool if fusing a hoverboard to your shield let you shield surf in the air, like an alternative paraglider. For balancing purposes, your shield would still be damaged and break, meaning it wouldn't be a permanent alternative, and perhaps it might also be harder to steer, making it better when going in a straight line but worse if you need to turn at all, but it would be cool.
We already have Cuccos, which are objectively the most absolutely scientifically perfect substitute for a paraglider
Another episode in the boomerang saga, if you fuse a fan or a zonai balloon it will have a different trajectory
For the fan you can't throw the boomerang and for the balloon only the sound is different

if you have the full glide set equipped, then start a glide by jumping off of a ledge and pressing R, if you then press B and X soon after each other you will keep your glide momentum and go SUPER fast. it's very clear if you teleport to the shrine next to dueling peaks stable, so maybe try it there.

If an item shows a shiny effect in your inventory menu, that means it has not taken any damage. If you damage it, it will go away.
The lily pad thing is useful. It means you don't have to dodge lilly pads. Which is probably why they did that.
When you tested the shock arrow with sidon's shield, it actually makes the shock arrows have a much greater explosion radius.

Hey Doctor, here are some tricks worth trying using „Ascend“:
1. You can use it under Stone Taluses and dig straight trough them to get on their backs.
2. You can use it, when you physically lift a small, round rock and then let it fall down where you stand. Immediately use „Ascend“ to get through it. After that you’re able to use the bullet time mode, when using a bow, for a short period of time. Alternatively, you can do the same thing using „Ultrahand“ and bigger, platform-like objects, if you doing it correctly.

I know a way to farm mushrooms and weapons without any resources. There is an article on Nintendo news on your switch all about attaching mushrooms to weapons, and it has a button at the bottom that says Start The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. When you press the button, it opens the game, and when the game starts a soldiers broadsword and Hyland shroom will fall from the sky. Then you save and close the game, and repeat the process again. It will take awhile to get a lot of mushrooms and swords, but it takes absolutely no resources. You do need amibo to be turned on in the game for it to work, though. I’m wondering about something regarding the torch. If you fuse a torch to your shield and then set yourself on fire via an explosion or venturing into Death Mountain, could you actually light the torch while it’s fused to your shield?
In case you didn't know yet, you can stun a lynel over and over after you mounted it by hitting it headshot twice with an arrow fused with a muddle bud. You can easily do it too with a multi shotl bow

So there are a few items where a lynels roar or whatever you call it can’t destroy auto build but the game will keep trying to break it so making the Lynel “tamed” and you can do whatever you want with him.
To be more specific a u shaped block and a rail in the right leg depot to get the rail stick two stabilizers on the side rail and It should come off you and they are very light and if you make one in auto build you can take off what we you want and it won’t break and the u block if you continue you will find it where you glue the right leg onto a rail you will also need two of them because if you attach ex:Apple the lynel will break both but there should be two in the right leg depot
If you search up how to make a rail jet a few videos it will show you how to get them I recommend the rail because it is easier but it tame the lynel just auto build the rail and but it close to the lynel
There's a fun glitch where you can make three Lynels fight each other in the dephs coliseum. All you have to do is defeat all Lynels, then place a travel medalion in the two cages to the right of the coliseum, then wait for a blood moon and the just travel to the two medalions placed and whipe out both of the lynels in those cages using ancient blades. Then you just have to enter the coliseum normally, and three Lynels wil be released at once. You can eighter try to fight then on a three to one combat or throw muddle bud atthem, and et them fight each other. It really works and is a lot of fun!
For dazzlefruit and stalnox: if you continue to hit the crit for the eye even with low damage items it will drop the eye but the same HP approximately after 5 or so hits regardless of item usage. You can pick up the eye with uktrahand to mess with the stalnox but really it just shifts the body part that takes damage from the body to the eye.
No the dazzle fruit does work you just didn’t hit his eye but once lol. It makes a specific sound when hit it so you’ll know. Watching the video only one arrow actually hit his eye. That’s when his eye fell out.
i know which sound you mean, and in the raw footage you can hear it multiple times, it just didnt work
You can actually make bokoblins and lizalfos stay in ragdoll position forever. Go into bullet time, stun it, freeze it, and fire a ruby at the ground near the enemy. Make sure to do all of this in bullet time or it won’t work. If done correctly, it will stay in ragdoll position for a long time after.
sidon's water shield also allows you to use wooden items (shield, melee, bow) without them catching fire. so for example you can use a forest spear with a dazzle fruit in hot areas in the depths, or the forest bow etc
If you encounter Gloom Hands during the early game and don't want to fight them yet, just climb a tree, wall or cliff (you may need to run a short distance first). They appear to be stuck to the ground they come out of and will throw a bit of a tantrum if you've climbed out of reach and will then disappear in a puff of smoke leaving 1-3 Dark Clumps behind.
I've found this only works outdoors on the surface, so not in caves or in the depths - basically anywhere where you can see the sky. The ones that appear in caves/depths still flail at you if you're out of reach, but they won't retreat back into the ground.

I cannot believe this hasnt been mentioned. a Ruby fused to an arrow and shot by a multi-shot bow kills glooms hands in one shot.
Haven't tested this yet, but can you use items like splash fruits or opals to make enemies wet, so you can follow up with an electric attack and do extra damage? It seems to work if you throw it at yourself at least, I did so I could get the damage boost from the Zora weapons.
I found if you fall from a height that will kill you, or if an enemy attack wipes out all your hearts, if you click the plus button before the hearts have finished completely wiping out and eat a meal, you can survive. Useful if you run out of stamina while flying or if you are halfway through killing a boss and he hits you!
can you ride a wing upside down? i fell off a cliff and landed on one upside down and it worked for a second, but it was early game and i didnt know what i was doing
It depends if it is 180 degrees no but there is a point where link can cling to ceilings but not perpendicular ones

there's a glitch you can do where you fuse a zonai item to your shield, drop & activate a shock emitter, and when you zap yourself and drop your shield it activates the zonai item. it then STAYS activated when you pick the shield up and equip it. that may be what raneisha (ray-knee-shuh) was referring to.
also, try fusing the bomb to an arrow and shooting it from sidon's water wall. i've seen videos where the bomb doesn't explode until it makes contact.
If you attach an elemental weapon to a spinning well or any other object that moves, will it still cause elemental damage to enemies?
elemental weapons aren't active unless you yourself are swinging it.
Emitters attached to weapons are considered elemental weapons of the same accord.

Charged Attack makes an elemental cloud if you're in ideal weather conditions and it's independent of gleeok weapons as their elemental properties are always active when doing a charged swing.
So ice and lightning can be comboed in either stormy (Farosh) or cold weather (Naydra) to generate an electro dome as a result, followed by the usual 3x shatter damage effect.
Dinrall set's fire breath charged atracks during hot weather in combination to lightning Gleeok Sword can permanently stun enemies to death.. assuming said enemy is not immune to fire or electric.
Other than that, the weather boosting effects gives an overall 10%-50% boost to numerical damage in said ideal weather conditions, similar to Fierce Deity and Berserker.
try teleporting to the 'Ulri Mountain' skyview tower at night (try at around 21:30 in game, even though night begins at 21:00 it might not trigger properly). There is a moblin who is visible from the tower that falls over in a strange way

If you do the autobuild thing with the yiga armor on, you get special dialouge (its just one text box, but still) from master Kogha.
use for that lizal behaviour: get a cage from one of those monster fortresses, add a hydrant to the inside, spawn it over the lizal, put a floor under it so he is trapped inside, now attach electric motors to the outside of the cage and put on the lightning helm, climb on top of the cage and turn on the hydrant.

Here’s another one. For some reason, you can ultrahand and build with a sign (the ones you find near Hudson Construction materials) if you cut it off the post, but you can’t fuse it to your weapon.

Fusing a stake to an arrow allows you to go down places and get back up when you recall it. Really useful for the Depths or Koroks bc you can attach Koroks to the stake.
It’s less of a claim of whether or not it works but rather how effective is it
if you go to the woman in the icehouse in gerudo after completing the quest and talk to her whilst wearing the yiga set she makes a very strange sound. sounds kinda like a quack. might just be the british version though, if thats a thing
