Seriously though. The only reason why anyone would not know is by not reading anything in the game on top of not paying attention when using it. Check other videos. He didn't know that all elements work on Gibdos. Which is literally in the game that fire, electricity, and water work. He has not used fire or ice. But Sidon's shield not being known like come on. Every player will notice that as soon they do the water temple especially during Mucktorok boss fight.
Maybe Sidon's water shield doesn't increase the power of Riju's lightning. BUT.... does LINK take more electrical damage if he has Sidon's water shield around him??
Maybe the assumption was to attack with the water shield on so it gets the enemy wet first? I don't know if that works or if it just does damage though.
In kakariko village create a campfire and set it to morning, then 2 cuccos will start going to a mountain, and when they arrive in the mountain there is a hole with a cave inside and its a cucco nest. There is eggs and cuccos.

Interacting with any actor resets your battery. This can be anything, like unlocking a shrine or lightroot, cooking, and anything you can interact with using the A button

Just at the first person said, it only works when an emeny hits you, and it's best to only use one piece of the set with high defence armour pieces(atheist one the version on).
Zora weapons have a perk where you are wet your hits a stronger. I'm not sure about double, but they are stronger. If you have a Zora weapon in your inventory, if it's not raining, the attack number will be white. If it's raining, the numbers will have jumped up and are now blue. At least, that's what I remember. And if you can parry the guard's attack, you should try flurry rush.
Regarding the battery-recharging Koroks, I don't know if it's been patched, but you supposedly could use a portable cooking pot for a recharge, and unlike the Koroks those can be brought with you.
The gerudo guards being able to attack you and be parried was a feature since BOTW. Any NPC with a non-arrow weapon can do it. Even Gorons can do it with their bare fists
Myth: You know how if you fuse things like a puff shroom to a forest dweller weapon its can be used several times so what if you fuse it to a ancient blade
while the Korok leaf didn't work... I wonder if you attached a Feathered Edge to a boomerang if it would do any different. Or maybe an Eightfold Longblade.
Yes in a video recently I seen 2 Like Likes try to eat each other but it failed. Instead something very gross happened. However it would work differently depending on the enemy. Yes it will "try" to eat other enemies but that's all I can tell you. I haven't actually seen it swallow other enemies.
Actually that works with nearly anything. I've seen someone do it to even a Silver Boss Bokoblin. In fact I've even done it to a silver boss Bokoblin by accident. Then was trying to find out where it went. Lol.
Stacking cooking pots on top of each other is always fun, but on their own they aren't that deadly, even when you pick them up, and they become alive I wonder if there is a way to change that
I wonder if you can stick several monster teeth to a bomb flower to make a kind of shrapnel bomb when it explodes, with each of the teeth hitting enemies and doing more damage that just the bomb
Stunning enemies can be really useful and funny in this game (only works for lizalfos or bokoblins) so to do this you need to do all of these steps in bullet time: stun the enemy, freeze it, and then attach a ruby to an arrow and shoot the ground near the enemy. Don’t directly hit it. If done correctly, it should be stunned forever
Sadly, but the work around is to fuse it on top of another weapon that CAN be repaired. Though, I wonder if when you defuse them, would the champion weapon be buffed with whatever special effect gets added?
@@XonyMudd no. If you take a weapon to Pelison to break then only the base will have a bonus on it. I discovered the hard way. However the attached weapon lost its original bonus. This happened more than once and once I noticed I was mad.

for zonai battery reset.. zonai cooking pots cooking a meal also work. New myth - can you farm bananas by stealing from yiga bait points, teleporting elsewhere, and then backtracking to that same banana spot?
I think it might be a good idea to always wear Majora's Mask when testing myths with Monsters. As an example, who knows if the Boko's collision changes while frozen or during agro. Or maybe you have to replace the items in the backpack one at a time. Anyway, I just don't know if this one was fully ruled out here.
@@drwily I hear ya, and to be fair I've never tried to refill a Boko's backpack haha But I wonder if you only half emptied their backpack and then tried to put some Splash Fruit in, what would happen? There has to be _SOME_ collision there, surely, or whatever _IS_ in their pack would just fall out, onto the ground the moment they spawn. Maybe for some reason the collision gets removed for the backpack when it's empty? Who knows, but it was a strange choice on the devs' part...
Absolutely nothing special. It adds the base damage of the weapon as normal, and I believe for the Boomerang would throw off the balance of the weapon when thrown, but nothing that any other weapon or material would do.
If you attach a wooden beam to a cooking pot, then attach the pot to a vehicle, it can make the vehicle look like it is wagging its tail! Useful for adding character to your builds.
On the topic of the new video, I saw the thing with yiga bananas. I also know a trick relating to that. Dress as a yiga, and hit the banana so it moves. Then you can go back to your normal clothes and the yiga won't care, even if it didn't move past them@@drwily
1. If you place an item such as an apple next to a Molduga and get him to swallow it, he will fall on the sand and be stunned for a few sec. 2. The muddle bub and windcleaver trick also works with the master sword’s beam attack
You can cattle prod a bokoblin with an electric lizalfos spear. Now I know you're thinking "but this is just simply attacking them". What I have in mind is something a little funnier. Lead a boko away from it's origin location. Eventually the battle music will stop, and it'll start heading back to where it's supposed to be, ignoring you and your avas. When it passes by you, give it a poke in the ass with your spear. Combat will not be re-initiated allowing you to poke it again when it's done being shocked. I call this cattle prodding.
Here's something to try regarding the zora weapons. If you get wet, you'll see the attack doubled in your inventory, but if you get hit by a fire weapon you'll immediately get dry, and it will return to it's base attack
You can interact her lightning with his shield actually. I just did it. Initiate sidings shield and Rijus lightning, then Just release siidons shield as a wave attack then immediately switch to your bow and fire off an arrow at the same place. It will trigger a huge electric explosion like when you crit with lightning in rain or waterfalls

Myth- Best way to kill gloom spawn.
Use a fully-charged attack on a mastersword(fused), in the middle of gloom spawn as they are spawning in, to kill all of them in just after they spot you.
Did this man actually just discover that Sidons shield is a SHIELD?!?! Did anyone not know this? Or am i the crazy one...
Zora weapons doing double damage is part of the weapon descriptions and when you're wet they display the doubled damage number in the weapon menu
yeazh didnt see that, will test it in a future video
Maybe Sidon's water shield doesn't increase the power of Riju's lightning. BUT.... does LINK take more electrical damage if he has Sidon's water shield around him??
Maybe the assumption was to attack with the water shield on so it gets the enemy wet first? I don't know if that works or if it just does damage though.
I've not tried this, but I think sidon's shield will simply prevent any attack and no damage will be done
FACT: if you attach a Lynel saber horn to a lizalfos boomerang it will make a sword that keeps the boomerang’s properties
writing it down
@@drwily have you tested it out
In kakariko village create a campfire and set it to morning, then 2 cuccos will start going to a mountain, and when they arrive in the mountain there is a hole with a cave inside and its a cucco nest. There is eggs and cuccos.
So you didn´t read the tutorial explanation because in it is is stated that Sidons ability does block one attack entirely.
The parry part with NPCs was allready in Breath of the Wild possible and goes with all armed NPCs.
Yeah alot of people don't read everything for some reason. Just like how he didn't think water strengthens Zora weapons or how he didn't know that all elements work on Gibdos. He has yet to try fire and ice.
@@josephmullins4133 Seems so well sometimes come new things for me in the Videos but most is just obvious.
@@Genya2008 sorry but were you missing a word or something because I didn't completely understand your comment.
@@josephmullins4133 Well look at the Videos how many of the things did you allready know before.
Tears of the Kingdom and also Breath of the Wild are Trial and Error games.
The longer you play the more you know i litererally beat a Hinox in Breath of the Wild only with a metal box and magnesis in Breath of the Wild and Ultra Hand allows the same but with much more items.
Like activate a canon and then wield it with Ultra hand combined with a head that aims for you most enemies are easy.
Or make a cube and rebuild it with autobuild near a Lynel the Lynel will start to Roar and won´t stop till you kill him or the cube disappears.
The more Videos Wily makes of this series the more it will get boring and soon the ammount of how many watch him will decrease dramtically.
@@Genya2008 OK well. That's a very solid point. I agree. I also discovered something else why so many RUclipsrs don't know as much as most players. They play at a slower pace. In fact some try to get their entire playthrough recorded in separate videos. I play hard-core enough to have already beat the main story within like a few weeks to a month. Players could learn alot more from playing the game then watching RUclipsrs right now. Since the RUclipsrs are so far behind they know as much. Anyway I completely agree with you.
This has probably been tried, but can you fuse a bottle of oil to an arrow, cover an enemy with oil, then set them on fire?
If you kill a boss bokoblin with an ancient blade without killing the other bokoblins, they will start crying as long as you don't get spotted
Well I tried this but I was spotted so will double check
the Hylian pinecone arrow seemed to produce a larger fire when it hit the ground as opposed to the normal fire arrow.
Interacting with any actor resets your battery. This can be anything, like unlocking a shrine or lightroot, cooking, and anything you can interact with using the A button
yeah gonna test this
You might have already tested this but I don’t really remember a lot of stuff from the past videos but you can make Tulin’s ability better by activating it (while in the air), and then immediately putting away your paraglider and then immediately pulling it out and if you do that 3 times in a row (putting it away and pulling it out) you can travel crazy amount of distance in a short amount of time and I use that trick a lot
havent tested this
If you manage to reflect light on a mirror and point it some Gloom hands it will damage them.
Hmmmmm might test this
You can make a shock explosion by using sidon's water and throwing shock fruit at your feet
Myth to check: Using a bomb shield on a spring makes you go higher
sure will try
You should upgrade your armour at a great fairy fountain so you take less damage
I feel like he did the test for damage with intentionally poor defense so he could much more easily identify if the Bokoblin did get a damage boost.
@@LloydTheZephyriannot talking about that just in general
@drwily if you throw a brightbloom seed next to the little froxes in the depths while they are not attacking you. they will eat it no joke
Normal froxes do that aswell
MYTH fuse a hudson cutout onto a shield and block next to the sign puzzle Person
MYTH to check. You can use ANY Elemental fruit or chu jelly to weaken Gibdos & open them up for attacks. Freezing them does a Ton of damage.
I think he tried that
@@Rick-vf8hm no he only tried using splash fruit on Gibdos. he never tried using fire or ice fruit/ chu jellies.
what about frond wind?
Not a myth. It literally says in game that electricity, fire, and water work. Every time he made a video testing it he received a load of comments that every element works. It's common knowledge by now. He tested water and later dazzelfuit. But he has yet to try fire and ice. The Gerudo even use fire attachments themselves.
already tried this
If you attack Gleeok Horns to a Eightfold Blade, the wind gusts will become elemental.
Was in an older video
What if you use a Stabilizer Shield, then get hit by something that would knock you over? Will you stay standing?
Stabilizer doesn't really do anything when fused to a shield since you need zonai battery to have its upright property active.
If you put an ice or fire stone talus heart on an eightfold longblade, the wind ceaver that the blade shoots out will be the element of the talus heart you fused on.
Already tested this, also holy molly your fast hahaha
@wyattshorts315 that means how long ago i posted the comment.
For example for me it says you posted your comment 25 min ago.

For the Riju’s sand seal plush, I think you have to fuse it to a shield. You also get a special piece of dialogue for having the scimitar of the seven out in front of her.
You don't need it fused, just showing it to her in any way works
@@pokeli2728Since that didn’t work for him, maybe the side quest was the problem. I’ve only done it with fused plushies and after I’ve finished the Gerudo questline.

If you get hit by an enemy while wearing the mystic armour set you lose rupees instead of hearts, right? Can you see if this happens when you take fall damage as well, thanks
Rupee Padding only works against taking direct damage from enemies.
Just at the first person said, it only works when an emeny hits you, and it's best to only use one piece of the set with high defence armour pieces(atheist one the version on).
@@metayoshi1712 thanks 👍
@@Greatcelestialkaligo thanks 👍
You should see what happens if you land on a falling rock while it is falling. Or what happens if you are standing on it as it hits the ground.
If you shield surf on a rocket shield, it sends you forward. Good for making long jumps. See if it negates and fall damage while you're at it too.
yeah double checked it and added a note
Zora weapons have a perk where you are wet your hits a stronger. I'm not sure about double, but they are stronger. If you have a Zora weapon in your inventory, if it's not raining, the attack number will be white. If it's raining, the numbers will have jumped up and are now blue. At least, that's what I remember.
And if you can parry the guard's attack, you should try flurry rush.
You can also use Sidon's ability, swim, or splash yourself with the splash fruit.
@@LloydTheZephyrianYep. :)

If you attack an enemy that blocks with an opal shield it makes you wet and increases your zora damage

yeah true
Regarding the battery-recharging Koroks, I don't know if it's been patched, but you supposedly could use a portable cooking pot for a recharge, and unlike the Koroks those can be brought with you.
I think Dr. Wily already tested that, and found it to be true.
very very interesting myth, if you fuse a white dragon scale, horn, or claw on a weapon, you will regain HP by hitting enemies with it !
Not a myth. It's mentioned in game. However not everyone knows that for some reason even though it's in the item's description.
The gerudo guards being able to attack you and be parried was a feature since BOTW. Any NPC with a non-arrow weapon can do it. Even Gorons can do it with their bare fists
If you cook with a cooking pot it will recharge your batteries completely
Myth: You know how if you fuse things like a puff shroom to a forest dweller weapon its can be used several times so what if you fuse it to a ancient blade
The ancient blade does not come back. I guess Nintendo already thought of this.
yup, tested tthis stuff
If you were the divine beast helms, the corresponding sage will wear the ancient version of it.
True except for Mineru, you need to wear the zonaite helm
And it upgrades the amount of damage the sage does too!

while the Korok leaf didn't work... I wonder if you attached a Feathered Edge to a boomerang if it would do any different. Or maybe an Eightfold Longblade.
Nope, just the same as any other weapon. Weapons don't really interact with each other when fused.
not sure could try
What happens if you give “insert non-Yiga enemy name here” an Eightfold Longblade?
+1 to wind attack, inflicting 10 damage when hit. Not all attack animations cause the wind attack.
If you throw a muddle bud at a Like Like, will it try to eat nearby enemies?
Yes in a video recently I seen 2 Like Likes try to eat each other but it failed. Instead something very gross happened. However it would work differently depending on the enemy. Yes it will "try" to eat other enemies but that's all I can tell you. I haven't actually seen it swallow other enemies.
You can kill Soldier constructs instantly with storm lightning
Actually that works with nearly anything. I've seen someone do it to even a Silver Boss Bokoblin. In fact I've even done it to a silver boss Bokoblin by accident. Then was trying to find out where it went. Lol.
Stacking cooking pots on top of each other is always fun, but on their own they aren't that deadly, even when you pick them up, and they become alive
I wonder if there is a way to change that
Being Wet literally doubles up the Zora Weapon's Damage completely
Yeah, that's not a myth though, that's just the mechanics of zora weapons.
I wonder if you can stick several monster teeth to a bomb flower to make a kind of shrapnel bomb when it explodes, with each of the teeth hitting enemies and doing more damage that just the bomb
Well maybe, not sure if this will do any real damage
If you fuse a wing to mineru's back and jump off a sky island while pressing y, you will glide
on the list
Stunning enemies can be really useful and funny in this game (only works for lizalfos or bokoblins) so to do this you need to do all of these steps in bullet time: stun the enemy, freeze it, and then attach a ruby to an arrow and shoot the ground near the enemy. Don’t directly hit it. If done correctly, it should be stunned forever
If you throw a damaged champion weapon into a rock oktorok's mouth it won't restore its durability.
Well that sucks! They also won't receive bonuses like long throw, increased durability, or increased damage.
I had 2 weapons with bonuses on them and fused them together then later when I had more room I had him break them apart. Only the base weapon kept its bonus. However the attached weapon lost its original bonus. This happened more than once and once I noticed I was mad.
If you bring a korock to a lynel Will its sceam attack delete the korok?
Lynels ignore Koroks, unless something is attached to their backpack, which triggers the roaring.

Anyway, I just don't know if this one was fully ruled out here.
true helps, but with this myth it truly doesnt work, the collision just isnt a thing
Building on the boomerang + korok leaf idea: what if you fused a boomerang with an eightfold longblade (or vice versa)?
Absolutely nothing special. It adds the base damage of the weapon as normal, and I believe for the Boomerang would throw off the balance of the weapon when thrown, but nothing that any other weapon or material would do.

So we know that horses aren't allowed into Gerudo Desert, but are bears or deer allowed?

On the topic of the new video, I saw the thing with yiga bananas. I also know a trick relating to that. Dress as a yiga, and hit the banana so it moves. Then you can go back to your normal clothes and the yiga won't care, even if it didn't move past them@@drwily

1. If you place an item such as an apple next to a Molduga and get him to swallow it, he will fall on the sand and be stunned for a few sec.
2. The muddle bub and windcleaver trick also works with the master sword’s beam attack

14:54 that was a thing since BOTW, you can parry any npc that attacks you with any weapon, you can even parry your own bombs
I call this cattle prodding.
can enemies heal in hot springs(when they aren’t drowning)
Nope. It's a reaction only Hylians can harness.
sidons water power will take durability
Here's something to try regarding the zora weapons.
If you get wet, you'll see the attack doubled in your inventory, but if you get hit by a fire weapon you'll immediately get dry, and it will return to it's base attack

You can interact her lightning with his shield actually. I just did it. Initiate sidings shield and Rijus lightning, then Just release siidons shield as a wave attack then immediately switch to your bow and fire off an arrow at the same place. It will trigger a huge electric explosion like when you crit with lightning in rain or waterfalls
