Yeah, the lack of a domestic transfer partner is frustrating for me. And as far as the lounge overcrowding issue, I'm pretty much done with Dallas. It's ALWAYS crowded and I've waited for nearly 2 hours to get in. Still love the card though!
I actually don’t care much about domestic flights because I have delta card, and I use the c1 miles almost exclusively to Cathay Pacific for business class seats, which gives great value

My Cap1 Venture X is used for my international travel. Thats how I plan to get the most bang for my buck. I'll use another card for Domestic and hotels.

Just the other day, 6 months had passed and having done plenty of research, i wanted to move up to venture x. Got approved on the spot. 2 for 2...but do i push it to go 3 for 3 and one more personal cap1 card?

Whats wrong with domestic?? I travel alot through DAL and plan on moving there eventually. So the lounge perks work and i take minimum 2 trips a year with the family. so those 300 dollars and 10k miles every year help out alot. Its a no brainer.

@@praspurgh Southwest is pretty good on the Chase side, consistently get ~1.7cpp, variable. Easily beats redeeming @1.25cpp (CSP) in the Chase portal.

What boils my blood is that I do get approved for some C1 cards but never the versions that give me the entry bonuses.

Bruh. Most ppl not flying overseas every year or even every two. Even then, that’s when open a new card or two and get more subs.
I get 6.6 CPP domestically using AS Miles on AA. I also love the refundability of airline tickets when using miles instead of cash.
