F-100 Rendering Design from : hugosilvade...
In todays video we continue the journey on my 66 F-100 build. Im taking my 1966 F-100 and grafting it onto a 08 Crown Vic Chassis. In todays video we get the bed mounted to the crown vic chassis, I start welding the F100 cab to the crown vic floor firewall and floor pan. This truck is gonna take some work for sure, and alot of it, so theres no way I could make the subscribers wait however long to finish the truck and widebody before returning to the Z. Im gonna have to try and clone myself so I can work on them both 😂 letssss goooo! Hoping to have a video out on the Z this weekend.. Hoping 😂
Don’t forget to add some kind of rubber mounts between frame and body to dampen vibration and noise.
Hey, I retained the factory rubber body mounts from the Crown Vic since I used the floor and firewall from the Crown Vic and grafted my F100 cab onto it.

Hey Dusty I thought you’d been abducted by aliens and I’m a little late to the punch watching this one but I can see you’ve been ‘grafting hard’ as we would say on that truck. Personally I’d keep all the patina and have it as a ‘sleeper’ I definitely think you’re keeping it real and your channel reminds me of Budgetbuildz but with more fabrication! ‘Daang son’ your going a bit Goonzquad ! You’ll be selling us your own bbq sauce next😂. Keep going after it and I look forward to updates on the Z too🔥

What ever body panels I make I will have ti try and recreate the paint to match the bodys patina... Speaking of Datsun 240z. Im working on it as we speak, stopped for a battery change in camera lol. Need a 50s f100 crown vic swap
Yeah a 50s would be awesome. Not sure of the wheelbase and all matching but Im sure someone has done it.
Build it , do you plan on just alot of metal work or carbon parts also
Yoooo!!!! I plan on sheet metal at least intially. Im doing a restomod on my wifes Datsun 240z and she wants a mild wide body/flares on it. Hers will not be a shop truck final look like my F100 😂 so maybe the metal on mine will get me better prepared with practice before doing hers on the Z. But long term future carbon is intriguing 🤔 Thanks for the comment and support!!!!
How are u going to do the gas filler neck
Got a few ideas, depends if I use crown vic gas tank or a fuel cell.
I tossed around the idea of a fillercap like off a gt350 or gt40.

66 Ford F100 on a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria frame with a LS swap. Smh… I would’ve loved to see a Ford engine put in the build but at the end of the day it’s not mine.
Yo!!! Sorry to disappoint ya, was gonna do the 4.6 from the crown vic but found out it had blown head gaskets. Ive swapped several LS motors of my own and several with friends. Im use to working on those engines so it just made sense. It would have been nice to keep it all ford, but at the end of the day its a custom build I guess. I respect your opinion, thanks for the comment!!
@@DustyMacsGarage I totally understand and agree it’s a custom build I just never see builds on RUclips were they build Ford model A-T’s with Ford engines. I’ve got no problem with Chevy or Dodge just live my Fords. Enjoyed your video and I definitely subscribed. Definitely hope my husband will build my 68 Ford F100 into something as fantastic as the one you’re building. Blessings
