I am a British veteran, and whenever the topic of whether females should be allowed as pilots, used to crop up, I always said that if they can do the job then let them. This video backs up everything I have always maintained, even if I was shouted down and ridiculed.
10% of girls are more like guys. 80%+ AREN'T, which is why people haven't agreed with you. MOST women wouldn't make it, but 10% would be well suited to a "man's job".
What a wonderful Mom and sweet young lady. God bless her and God bless the CEO for recognizing the amazing employee she has and treating her with respect and decency and generosity.
I knew Don Dwyer way back when Dina was running around the office complex, learning everything she could about the running of a franchise organization. There is so much of Don in Dina that it is kinda scary and that is truly a compliment. My Nickname is a result of having a Rainbow International franchise. Thirty years later and I still have it and proud of it.
Yea. Any woman WILLING to work is a MAJOR plus, but all the unmarried girls who always complaining are usually unwilling to work and ungrateful REGARDLESS of what they are given. They are not married because they don't DESERVE it.
What a hard working mother ..earning to feed 4 kids. Its just amazing that rewarded to nedded one...what a wonderfull family. literally speaking seeing this made my day.
So many ordinary people give their all for their jobs and don’t get rewarded. They all deserve it… but it’s nice to see someone so deserving be recognized for simply taking pride and caring about her work.
In my experience, at least in my country, TOO MANY just do the minimum, don't give 2 damns about doing things properly, then complain they aren't promoted. It's different in the USA, because you can put in the extra yards and 95% of the time just get left at the bottom.
Never forget that men are more interested in working with things and women tend to be more interested in working with people. Doesn't mean that is the case for everyone but just the majority. Always pursue the career path that interests you the most.
Excellent! So glad to see women helping women, finding ways to build employee loyalty, families, team building, and confidence in the customer base. May your father's memory be for a blessing and may you both continue to prosper! Amen!
What an amazing technician. For having 4 kids, she has so much patience in her voice. A lot more then I do that’s for sure. She literally seemed like an angel, I don’t think you could ask for a better employee. I would be so proud if I was the CEO working with her
I’m the Mr Appliance tech in Ottawa Ontario, I’m stunned they actually cut the temp sensor off to test it! Lol, I always go to the back to access the connector to test. Sensor first thing to check for around 1.1k, but unless able to try different heat data points, it may be the clock timer board.
I have no idea what these technicians earn, the $10,000 was great to start college education funds for the kids, but that second gift of $25000, imagine if the Technician salary was higher would help on a more permanent basis , probable would not need think about a second job, with the husband working.
In my experience ,very few upper management or executives have the slightest clue how difficult it is to do most jobs the way they think it should be done even if they have no practical experience. it should be a requirement for all upper management do do something like this with some regulatory.
Hmmm..How did she reconnect that thermostat and did she knock the power off before she cut it?..She has a Fluke multimeter there with the facility to add a thermocouple to test the oven temperature.
Sorry off topic here...but are those peperoni rolls home made...they looked tasty...and if so...where does this super mom get the time to make them....as far as I am concern...she's a real "Wonder Woman"...a hero to her family.
Love it, gone are the days when I was on the road, and can go home for a bit. Those were the days. Being in the outdoors, meeting people. Fixing stuff. Oh the person who trained me is Bella, she's retired, I should go visit.
You've got to be pretty dense not to suspect something; the amount of camera angles in the homes and waiting for the van to arrive, etc., means there must be quite a big crew following them around. Then there's the obvious wig worn by the Boss. :)
This short You Tube video is understandably an edited version of the episode and ends as they all do; with gifts and offers to certain employees. Although it may not apply to this particular event, a documentary a few years ago exposed how many 'under cover bosses' failed to deliver on the promises they made.
Did she even test the oven for calibration after installing the probe? Inline water filter? Maybe clean the ice maker , cold water slime makes the ice taste mildewy. Parts changers are a big problem in appliance repair . I service commercial appliances for restaurants and they wouldn't tolerate parts changers .
So American: having a job that doesn’t pay enough and the boss being so generous giving them a charity. Pay them right or create a business model that makes enough money.
If you want your employees to truly succeed, pay ‘em. There’s no shock value to it. Abandon the $7.50 an hour model and pay people their worth. You will never be short employees either.
😔😢 rarely seen her father, as a father of 5 children here at home, that touched me deep down, I leave for work 4:30-5:30am pending on contracts and home up to 18 hours later making sure my family has what they need, my wife actually said to my children today that they get everything and dad doesn’t get or want anything,,, looking at my work clothes 😂😂😂 ratchet but comfy
I wasnt interest in whatever was going on,i watch it out of bordom and the whole time i was like that lady is beautiful well spoken and stuff but ended up tearing and simply gets so emotional wtf hats of to both of them.

Tanna is an amazing wife and mom of 4 kids and Dina a very generous CEO for doing what she did for Tanna. She deserved it.
What a wonderful Mom and sweet young lady. God bless her and God bless the CEO for recognizing the amazing employee she has and treating her with respect and decency and generosity.

Amazing generosity and empathy from a CEO.
"I'm just a little country girl from nowhere..."
"You're an AMAZING country girl from nowhere..."
These two lines breaks all the emotions for me..
Highly appreciated the boss's remarkable humanity
That girl is a keeper both from professional and personal point of view. God bless her

I wish Indian corporate sector might have this kind of boss too.
Now...that is a genuine CEO of a company...many could take a lesson from her.. amazing values!!
A perfect example of leadership. Connect with the people who are getting you money and give them back.

Excellent! So glad to see women helping women, finding ways to build employee loyalty, families, team building, and confidence in the customer base. May your father's memory be for a blessing and may you both continue to prosper! Amen!

I was thinking the same thing! They didn't show the repair, but it looked like it was going to be crimps on the hanging wires..
Well said
Hahaha....
I am not big on tech , but I thought that was odd also .
I am just a country girl from nowhere! Why are women always talk down on themselves? She is amazing!

I had a crush on Tanna. She is an absolute fighter, being able to balance work and being a mom of 4 was totally amazing.
Fantastic inspirational video

"I'm just a country girl from nowhere" 😢
Now that's the benchmark that all bosses should climb to.
Both amazing
90% of employees on these shows know full well that they are more than likely on undercover boss and act accordingly !!
I think you're right. Notice how there's ALWAYS A SOB STORY about their kids....
You've got to be pretty dense not to suspect something; the amount of camera angles in the homes and waiting for the van to arrive, etc., means there must be quite a big crew following them around. Then there's the obvious wig worn by the Boss. :)
"You are an amazing girl from nowhere "😭
Now that's a great boss.

Fantastic Ladies.
Could develop another division. Mrs. Appliance. Where women call other women if they feel more comfortable.
God does answer prayers, but does things in his own time, when he thinks we are ready to receive.
So American: having a job that doesn’t pay enough and the boss being so generous giving them a charity. Pay them right or create a business model that makes enough money.

Incredible
Wow wow wow....just no comments...wow
is this how Americans work?, having deep conversations all day while discussing the basic function of an oven.
If you want your employees to truly succeed, pay ‘em. There’s no shock value to it. Abandon the $7.50 an hour model and pay people their worth. You will never be short employees either.

Good things happen to good people
