Another OP option is a High Elf mage with Sellsword backgrond, and Court Mage subclass, this gives you medium armor some martial weapons, and a shield with protection with the shield.
Yeah, that is what I was stating in my class video. Sellsword on a Court Mage Wizard is OP. This is the only Class/Subclass I take on all my playthroughs. Cheers!
