Everyone knows the cup is lost. Indiana Jones found it already but fell down into the Earth. Duuuuhhhhhh.
Hahaha 😆 😂 . Good 1
the cup of Christ in my opinion is the word he gave... the greatest law... is all you need...
“The most holy grail may be found in the castle Aaaaaagh.”
It's amazing how people can be so stupid that they think that the cup Jesus used at the Last Super was an ornate, golden cup encrusted with Ivory and pearls, and expensive gems. It was actually a regular ol' ordinary cup. Jesus did not come to flaunt His divinity. He came as a servant of the Father and to serve humanity by His sacrifice.
Actually, the Holy Grail is the Chalice of Dona Urraca in Leon.
And it is a humble roman cup made of onyx. Princess Urraca ordered to cover with her gold and jewells about year 1.080.
This aspect is what is told in the Tales of The Grail . " a golden Cup covered with gold and jewells owned by a princess"
This is what saved Indiana Jones in the 3rd movie.
@@SpiritGunYusuke Indiana Jones never studied in an University because he doesn´t exists. He is not an expert on the matter.
And he was wrong : clay and wood were forbidden for Paschal Supper because they are impure materials .
The jewels were added later
What more amazing is people believing in a fictional book
Sometimes a cup is just a cup.
Ur so clever god bless u all the rest need to know not too create a pegan holy relief god allready told us that we should not worship anything other than him because hes a very jealous god so ur clever 😉🥰
My favorite documentaries are the ones that spend the entire duration on one thing only to at the end go, "eh maybe, could be. Can't be sure though"
Next the search for the stone David killed Goliath with, one man now says he's found it....
Your video has inspired me to delve deeper into the subject. Thank you for igniting my curiosity!
Holy Bread Board has been so over looked.
I have one.
I love it.
😁
@Odyssey You channel is awesome, thank you so much for all the videos, I am learning so much, Thanks agian
well presented documentary.. i just love HH
She didn't "discover " the Holy grail in Valencia, it's been purported to be the real grail for centuries. The Vatican recognises it as a possible grail but doesn't go as far as saying it is the true grail.
Its definitely from the right period but there is no actual evidence that it is the grail. If that ever existed.
Well said ..my thoughts exactly
The Vatican would have scooped that up
Is it a cup? Or a person? Margaret Starbird's research is stunning.
That’s not the cup of a carpenter.
You have chosen... wisely.
The video explains that the cup likely belonged to the owner of the home where the last supper was. Did you watch the video?
It was actually a 12 piece set with a Holy Kool-aid pitcher...
Did fishermen & itinerant preachers routinely drink from ornate agate cups in 1st century Jerusalem? One also wonders why someone would’ve thought to retain a cup, the significance of which would’ve been unclear until long after the event. All of this assumes that it happened in the first place?
Oh the cup of the burning purple.
Definitely not the Grail. Where would poor men get such a cup?
The gold base and jewels were added by the Church to the original carved stone cup.
@@2012escapee1 Gold base and jewels aside; Agate tableware (cups plates bowls) were typically owned by the wealthy. If Jesus had been born to a rich Roman family, then a polished agate cup in the dining room wouldn't be nearly so improbable.
This is Christian propaganda, not a documentary. If I made a video about my search for unicorns would that be a documentary?
The " grail" is the bloodline of Christ...
@@batarasiagian9635depends. When were unicorns on earth. Start from there
As if.
That ain’t the Grail.
At least it was shown
In the beginning of the video
Think about how many tables and furniture Jesus must have made. And they probably existed for quite a while after he died.
Do this in remember of me.Why not a stone cup ?
The holy grail never seen since A. D. so there is no such specific cup and never reveal what kind of object that was, but still questioning wondering where is the holy grail
Everyone knows it's guarded by the fisher king in the invisible grail castle.
did the bus boy at the last supper set the cup aside just in case this guy Jesus becomes famous?
The first mention of the Holy Grail anywhere is in a romantic tale about King Arthur by Chrétien de Troyes in the 12th century. It's a fictional object. You might as well go looking for Luke Skywalker's light sabre.
But the Tales of the Grail told about a real object : the Chalice of Dona Urraca. A Golden Cup covered with jewells owned by a princess.
Urraca´s brother , (king Alfonso VI) was married with two french queens. The trouvadours told about the Cup (thta exists ) when they travelled back to France
I like cheese. I believe that.
Greetings from Netherland
The holy grail was his bloodline passed down from him and his wife Mary Magdalene ,the woman you see in Da Vinci's last supper sitting on Christ's right hand, there was no Grail.
Apart From Master Fulcanelli, I'm the only one on this planet that knows the truth about the Morning star Grail..
The Grail was wooded or a gourd..
Yeah sure, it was the bronze age but the drank out of makeshift jungle cups 😂 why is it everyone thinks Ooga Booga whenever they think about the past? Hubris mostly
@@ryanparker4996 Because Christ did not want opulence. He did not drink out of richness and wealth. Many scholars believe it was a beautifully carved wooden chalace.. You are just an ass trying to make me feel stupid when I recieved a scholarship to Oxford University while I was in a small college near Chicago, forty years ago. I am not uneducated, like you..
If a cup held such power, it wouldn't be hidden away on earth. In human hands it would be misused. Just like the Ark of the Covenant.
The Chalice of Valencia is the Cup of Saint Peter.
The Holy Grail (the Cup of Christ) is the Chalice of Dona Urraca in Leon.
I really enjoyed this. Having a cup being Kosher in the Jewish context very interesting. Well done.
Noone will find it. Ever. Giving the fact that Jesus and his followers were not rich noblemen but nomads they most likely drank from a common wooden cup. The concept of a Holy Grail became popular in The Middle Ages when Christianity became dominant religion in Europe.
I think it was the popularity of the Arthurian story that helped populise it too. In the medieval period there was a desire for objects connected to Jesus true, the Veil of Veronica, in the 4th century so still classical period St Helena also went to Jerusalem, the spot where Jesus was believed to have been executed had a church built there, the trip was also looking for other things connected to him, the marble staircase in Pilot's palace, the true cross, so from early on there's been a desire to seek out any object connected with the life of Jesus.
If this chalice still exist ,is not covered by ruby or gems or made of gold because this is aginst 5he beliefs of what jesse was telling
That isn't the cup of a humble carpenter. No.
All myrh
Taylor Marshall's favourite super hero is Vigano. He has all the action figures and comics
Was there even a last supper? Was there even a cup?
Yes and yes
Was there a god that was on earth? There's no proof, definitely not this, or any, cup
Yeah Jesus wasn't drinking out of golden cups
Nobody seen the holy grail...
Jesus was very clear that his cup was rhe cup of suffering he must endure... n he also said we all must take up our cross, our cup of suffering to follow him. So in that way, if we truly follow him, we ALL can have the holy grail.
The only two relics I believe are real, due to many many many hours of research on the subject, is the sudarium of oviedo n the shroud of turin
and the onyx bowl of the Chalice of Dona Urraca in Leon.
What if it was a Styrofoam cup?
Jesus wouldn't have had use of a golden and jeweled chalice to drink from.
The romans perhaps, Jesus never.
we all know that if it was found it is in some privet collection never to see the light of day, on some black market, or was found bye some forirgn power and destroyed.
The cup is not important. Truly. Not.
How could Jesus and the apostles afford a gold chalice?
its not a cup, its a child
Could you elaborate ?
None of those is the holy grill
That cup is gone Y’all be crazy to think that anyone back then would have the foresight to think that such an ordinary object would hold such sentimental value as to command miracles of faith. Whatever happened to his toenails.
I dunno.. I mean if me and my boy was drinking shots of whiskey and he was like yo I’m god! And they gonna kill me. Then he got killed in front of me exactly like he said he would. And then came back to life… RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME… I might keep that shot glass.
Which Land Was "The Grail Lands"?
Ask any families of the crusaders or the Vatican, you might get many answers or at least one that will make sense to you.😴😴😴
The apostles wouldnt have even thought to save the cup because it would have been concidered Idol worship. The holy Grail is Christ body which was broken for our iniquity. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the Righteousness of God.
The Grail is right next to all those pieces of the original cross, every medieval tourist on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land knew that. Mystic nonsense.
Jesus would not have used an agate cup at the Last Supper. Get real? It was just a common, every cup of clay. The disciples were poor Galileans.😊
This is a whole bunch of nothing in search of something that doesn’t exist.
Yup it ain’t the cup. Pure wooden cup is all they could afford. Just a vessel to drink out of. And who in their right mind would even thank of saving the cup. Probably thru it against the wall ….
I just wrote this also. The cup was wooden..
It’s not cannibalism. It’s just drinking blood. The fancy cup makes it all so magically delicious.
legends and myths
The cup itself was of clay, wood, and maybe alabaster. The golden and bejeweled base was added adornment. A clay, wooden, or even alabaster cup was a common, everyday item used by everyone. This cup may not be The Grail, but someone, at sometime, believed that it was, so they added gold and precious gems to adorn the chalice to "make it worthy" for The Christ.
Clay and wood were forbidden for paschal cups. Only metals or stone (silver, agathe , ónyx)
Actually , the Holy Grail is the Chalice of Dona Urraca in Leon. A humble roman onyx cup that was embellished with gold and jewells by Princess Urraca about year 1.080.
The Chalice of Valencia is the Cup of Saint Peter . If you notice, the priest can put his lips just on the agathe of the bowl.
This point doesn´t happen in the Chalice of Princess Urraca. The ancient onyx bowl is protected by a golden armour. So the priest cannot put his lips in the same place where Christ did.
And if you see the protection : the Chalice of Valencia is easily reached with a simple key.
The Chalice of Dona Urraca is into a strong glass urn with movement sensors.
Sorry my poor english.
This was good i agree 👍 best story and evidence it went to spain .
You have chosen...poorly.
So a poor carpenter with his fisherman, tax collecting, farmers ‘friend’ had a jewelled encrusted cup?
I'll stick with Indiana Jones and go with the holy grail being a very common/non flashy cup..
As in a cup of a carpenter..
Which this, is surely NOT!
Indiana Jones is not a real person. He is a ficctional one.
Wood and clay were forbidden for Paschal Supper , as impure materials for cups.
The authentic Cup of Valencia is made of agathe , the gold was added later.
Actually , the authentic Holy Grail is the Chalice of Dona Urraca , a humble roman onyx cup that was covered with gold and jewells by princes Urraca about year 1.080.
Sorry my poor english.
@@bwanaminoplis2536 Oh really? I had no idea that Indiana Jones was simply a made up character in a movie... All this time I thought whenever I saw him on the moving picture box that it was all true happenings... How sad, I was really banking on having my heart returned to my chest if it was ever removed by a voodoo priest. But thanks for clearing that up for me.
But enough sarcasm... I was only saying that what Indiana Jones said was logical. The holy grail would've been the cup of a carpenter. And I don't know how many carpenters had dining ware honed from substances that are typically made into jewelry like onyx. In all reality, the holy grail most likely isn't a cup at all... if it was then where is the holy plate... and the holy fork? You'd think the entire dinette would hold some significance if it was used in the last supper.
@@supafrancis Indiana Jones, Doctor in Archeologist by Hollywood University was wrong.
Clay and wood were absolutly forbidden for paschal supper bowls. They are porouses.
Only glass, stone or metals were allowed.
The place where Christ and the Apostles had the Last Supper belonged to a rich person.
So he put on the table the own bowls (that only were used for paschal supper). Its probably that he had stone bowls (onyx or agathe) not silver or glass, for example.
The bowl of the chalice of Dona Urraca is a humble roman onyx bowl..(it´s the more probably Holy Grail)
The bowl of the Chalice of Valencia is agathe , it´s roman too.
We´re talking about two romans chalices of I century BC. embellished many centuries later..
Princess Urraca of Leon even wrote her anme on it , about year 1.080. And ordered to paint a big Last Supper over her tumb.
Sorry my poor english.
Io no true yes worry our see
Seriously? The Holy grail is NOT a freaking cup. Most experts believe its a serving platter.
No it's a women with a vagina who can carry the Holy Blood, the women is the cup
You're wrong Queenie.
I think I lost almost as many brain cells watching this as perusing an episode of "squatch hunters" on the (cough) "History Channel"...
Cup isn't real just like Jesus😂
Don't be a priest. ✝️
Holy Grail , the chalice of Christ priesthood.
A silver grail , wide mouth vessel , a thing of myth and legend.
I emptied three libraries studying it .
A warrior monk on a horse rearing on his hind legs , the knight saying , go straight your path , you will see GOD or the
Anti god .
A demon called the
Destroyer meeting you at the cross roads.
A cry coming from hell saying , " I should be GOD !!!"
A humble man like Jesus would not drink from such an ornate cup. Sculpted and covered in gold and gems... in short, lies and a lousy marketing ploy.
Indiana Jones makes a more credible story 😂!
Only catholics venerate these objects.
Sic transit gloria mundi.
The funniest thing is that according to the most reliable source about Jesus, the Bible, Jesus would not have used the cup at the Last Supper.
Apparently, Jesus gave a congratulatory message with a glass of bitter wine containing the ashes of burned hyssop, which was used in the Jewish Passover meal at the time.
But what is even clearer than that is that when he handed out the cup to his disciples, he declared that he would not drink wine from the vine until the coming of heaven.
So, although the wine glass in the documentary may have at least been touched by his hand, there is no other point of contact with it.
Of course, the cup would be the only object touched by Jesus and his twelve disciples, and it is also an object guaranteed by the Bible.
But what we must not forget is that among the twelve disciples was Judas Iscariot! The sacredness is broken right there.
There is nothing sacred among the world's relics.
No such thing as prehistoric. ✝️
Can yall make it louder plz
Fantasy
Truth.
No replies will be seen
There is a very minute change Jesus touched this cup. The problem is that the cup was just a cup in the time of Jesus itself. In those time all objects Jesus touched where not seen as special. Jews did not recognized Jesus as there disciple, Christianity did not jet exist. There was no reason to treat the cup Jesus uses any different as any other (luxury) cup.
The cup became the "holly grail" centuries later, when the church started to worship relicts and started to "show off" its wealth. If there where objects that could be tied to Jesus, they probably did not survive the Roman-Jewish war of 70 ad. Even if objects do remain it is never possible to prove Jesus used or touched it. At best it can be proven it is from the right region and the right era.
That is why is difficut to believe that the Cup of Valencia is the Cup of Christ. A priest can put his lips on the cup. No priest would dare to do this . Putting his lips just on the place where Jesus did.
But you are forgetting a very important question : The cup used by Christ the Last Supper , was used for the first eucharist, It was the cup of the first transformation wine-blood. So this cup had a special meaning for the disciple.
It´s known that Jesus had the Last Super into a rich house. He would use the paschal cup of the house, probably an onyx or agathe one.
Instead , the Chalice of Dona Urraca is a humble old roman onyx bowl dated I Centyry b.c. It was covered with gold and jewells by princess Urraca of Leon, about year 1.060..She ordered to cover the bowl with gold in a way that was imposible to put the lips on the stone. She built an "armour " of gold around the ancient bowl.
There are documents that prove that this bowl was shown as the Cup of Christ at The Holy Sepulcher Church in Jerusalem.
So, that is what the Tales of the Grail by Chretien de Troyes are telling you : The Holy Grail is a golden cup covered with jewells owned by an unmarried princess.
Princess brother , King Alfonso VI of Leon married with two french queens , from Aquitanie and Bourgoundy. Probably some trovadours of the queens travelled back to France and told about a golden cup and a princess.
Princess Urraca ordered to paint a big Last Supper painting just at the place where she was buried. The paintings are about year 1.090. You can see the cup and the paintings on the museum.
Sorry my poor english, please. It´s a complicated but interesting history .
There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever - historical, empirical or otherwise - that the grail (or graal) was a cup. This is mere conjecture, and has no basis in fact. The only recorded "evidence" comes from the over-excited imaginations of medieval writers of romances, whose tales were written with entertainment in mind, and were never intended to be taken literally.
Is it some type of puzzle for tHe little piggy had non!
Thought the challis was wood .
God is in your soul not a cup.
Plausible but nothing definitve.
Even if christ drank from the cup...it's just a cup. Jesus was just a man. There are many gospels that tell as much. They were thrown out by Constantine and the Roman church in order to push the divinity propaganda.
Has anyone ever considered that maybe the Holy Grail is in North Korea with Kim Jong Un? He his the supreme leader.
All of that effort, and they still haven't recovered the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch?! Go and change your armour!
BIG ERROR! At 4:12. First Century AD, the drinker poured the wine in his vessel, which was like a syrup, then poured water to the strength he desired. The wine was not as we drink it today. After I viewed this huge error, I stopped watching. If you can't get that simple act correct then this whole video is questionable. THUMBS DOWN!
So inaccurate. I expect better from "Odyssey". You traded historical accuracy for sensationalism. This is like watching a documentary on the "History Channel" or "PBS".
Okay then man-made religion an man-made documentary. Thanks for the entertainment 😅😂
THE CUP SHOWN HERE IS NOT 1ST CENTURY JERUSALEM, ANOTHER PERIOD/LOCAL !
JESUS AND HIS FOLLOWERS WERE ALL ""DIRT POOR"" GET IT ?????
It's my menstrual cup.
their mothers were hamsters and their fathers smelled of elderberries
What a load of bollocks and wishful thinking
Pure fantasy, this isn't history.
LOL GROW UP
It's a graven image at this point. The search for it has become more important than the faith it represents. If it is a cup, it just that a cup. And anything you put above christ is a graven image. Ppl missed the whole teaching of christ. If the cup was really that important, he would've told a disciples to secure it. All the hocus pocus rituals and bs perpetuated by the catholic church is sin. And if the grail is so important, then what about the plate that held the bread, which was the body of christ?
First they'll have to prove that Jesus lived, before they can prove this is his cup.
It has been proven time and time again that Jesus lived, was a real person and was crucified.
