Egyptian history always amazes me, especially when new discoveries were discovered.
Honestly, giving me endless curiosity about what the archaeologist will be revealing next 🤔
i really want to see everything been discovered but of course we wont live enough to see that. 3000 years of history and buildings would take hunderds of years to discover.
@@BehnamAshur not really, with our current technology we can easily discover SO much more. but egypt likes its tourism, its the thing generating money after all.
i love starting my morning with a good documentary and a good coffee. ☕️

Favorite weekend routine
Where is the good documentary? This is an interesting topic but a terrible production - it is essentially reality TV.
Salima and her colleagues are wonderful, amazing series especially "The last Pharaoh Cleopatra". I love to watch this channel.
The couple dressed as if they are in the 20’s actually knew more than they looked like they would
Looked like straight up Bond movie villains
More like Hercule Poirot, "Death on the Nile".
Don't judge a book by its cover
Colleen Darnell is very well respected in Egyptology circles. She dresses in early 1900s attire because that was the Golden Age of Egyptian archaeology.

I am not even egyptian but knowing other countries stealling stuff makes my blood boil lol
and some people whinge about us digging it up to stop that to begin with.
Love to watch every episode.
I love Salima. It's always good to see her in these documentaries.
I`m thrilled to watch this ! Thank you very much for posting🍀👍🙏 i was many years ago in the Valley of Kings, and it was the most stunning breathtaking experience, there is nothing comparable !
Isn't it possible that the ring was a gift given by the Pharaoh? Maybe it was given to commemorate a battle? Think outside the box please....or 'outside the tomb'!! LOL
My first thought was.. well that tombs 49 resident was probably some under-ling of Ramses III.. makes sense to me.. "I'm buried here because Ramses 3 was my buddy, and gave me a ring".. seems the most logical to me..
Later mummies were moved around, cached, in attempts to save them... perhaps they were temporarily stored in this tomb, and something dropped to the floor in the process....
Or placed there, without findings they lose all funding.
Big name, big funding.
I can be ignorant about what's going on with the whole world but I just can't suppress my dedication towards uncovering those Egytian stories. It somehow fulfils my life.
Picture this: You're a pharaoh enjoying eternal peace in the afterlife when a random tomb raider decides to play "Mummy Smash" with your mummified self, and you end up dying twice!
Mummyfyng a king and then looting its riches shows how different the king and common people are.
@@sonarbangla8711 Yes.. because the king was not exploiting tem for free labour, didnt tax them and they definetly did not live poor, and they stole burried gold from stuffed corpse. Good logic
Maybe sometimes is better not to type at all
@@nikolaangelov7782 Besides smashing Mummies, another aspect disturbs me, how do you toil to achieve the high degree of Egyptian arts and breathtaking statues, then pointlessly smashing them, by those who created the masterpieces, just for erasing the names of past emperors.
my guess is it was people who were angry at the deceased or very desperate.
That lady at 35:00 is straight Bond Villain looking!
Cruella DeCrypt

I expected Lara croft here 🥲
We don’t want Woke garbage

No only the bad woman from Indiana jones
I'd settle for Kara Cooney!
Glad to see Professor Joanne Fletcher not involved with these finds.
Holding the heart is wild ❤️
I have Goosebumps just 3 Minutes in
They are all just different forms of tomb robbers.
Every time you see National Geographic frantically searching for ancient relics in Egypt you can be sure they already have found it and is in the USA.
These people have worked all their lives to build these tombs, yet couldn't rest in peace. What an awful world ! 💔
Thank you for Sharing 🙂
Most Interesting❤ ! It depicts the rich tradition & culture of the Ancient Egyptions, their strong aesthetic sense, their sense of imagination, their value of life in this world & after, their dedication to life after death & their knowledge in science. The excavation site adds much curiosity & excitement with new findigs each day ! ❤❤
Herbert E Winlock was a Egyptologist in the early 1900s. He was distantly related to me.
Fascinating. Thank you.
Her touching her glasses and the body parts every scene is to much 😂
you really dove deep into this topic, appreciated!
I really love to watch the Discovery channel.its wonderful and exciting also there's a lot to learn from this historical discovery.❤❤❤
It was a gift from the king.😊
Im always amazed at what they wear, a T-shirt, a shirt and a vest on top, In that heat? And they don’t even seem to sweat.!
Dry heat is different and at night it gets pretty cold.
These guys are trying to re-create a scene from Raiders of the lost Ark
oh wow, i'm just looking for a yt vid to watch before i eat and here i am.
If you are a corpse you would want to smell good😂 I like the lady with the yellow head scarf😂
I'm always fascinated by the lack of respiratory protection face masks not used when working above and within these tombs. Mask would
at least keep the humidity high breathing into the masks small space and would help your membranes stay moist=mucus movement. Important.
but their rights though🤣
9:14 It’s a shame that so many mummies have been destroyed, stolen, sold and lost in time.
I was waiting for this video ❤
Saludos cordiales desde Bucaramanga Colombia
Can you imagine accidentally unearthing a curse? These archaeologists are braver than I am!
Christina D here glad to be with your channel and network....
Finding the tomb of Egypt last Pharaoh Cleopatra would be epic.
Which one, there were several?
Actual favorite video. :D 👍
I like this season 🎉
The UK looted a ton of tablets and artifacts, by far the biggest loss.
PRIME EXAMPLE OF WHY I PLAN TO BE CREMATED AND HAVE MY ASHES SPREAD IN MY FAVORITE WILDERNESS AREA.
A bit melodramatic in presentation, but interesting.
tomb 11 is fire
That's a fabulous one 👹👺
The Fabulous Moolah??
😊The tunba of the first pharaoh which represents the tiger and ufrate rivers and connected under the tomb of Giza flows under a long labyrinth up the mountain river (S) along the valley of Mesopotamia a secret🌾
I dream of Egypt 🇪🇬 and the people there of the past even though I've never heard of them before 17 years ago is when I heard of this place. I am from Alaska. I am inupiaq (eskimo) of the north/northwest. So how can I make it understandable that I had never heard of them but in my dream I saw many people & it was loud, crowded and had huge Pyramids etc...I dreampt twice of this before I knew about them people. 🤔 I am still in awe of myself and why I dreamed it before.
Me wifey also knows this as well. We both are in awe.
Giọng nói hay qua nghe lôi cuốn thậttt❤❤❤❤❤❤
Robbers were the ones who built it,thats why every details were known where everything was.
The ancient Egyptians should have had guards in such a sacred place.
The person that robbed them WAS the assigned guard unfortunately
The Darnells''s 1920s vibe makes them come across less as serious scholars, and more of a couple of LARPers playing at archaeology.
The desert is always dusty and hot, they people show up in suit and bowtie 😂 maybe they were playing pretend
@@___beyondhorizon4664 it's not always hot, you idjut.
35:31 this dude reminds me of the person in Jumanji
Could the ring have simply been ignored?......because it was not Gold?
It is amazing
Amazing Egypt
The hieroglyphics on the side are actually telling you all about the person who is buried inside
as expected we love unboxing
Egyptian hisyis really amazing ❤❤
Now that Ipi doesn't have his heart, he's forever doomed in the afterlife >.
Do you know my favorite dinosaur?
21:35 real Egyptian queen 🤩🤩
Why are archaeologists groups only given less than 3 months to do any excavations?
What's the explanation for that?
Everything crumbled under Sampson’s rain and the great earthquake of Sampson
Amazing!!!!...
Think about all the ones that were ground up and sold. I heard they use that stuff in everything.
this robbers are better than archeologist.. they always dig first on the sites..
I wonder how they can handle something like the mummified heart, not wearing masks or gloves... Their own dna and bacteria are spraying all over it....
im very surprised about the state sanctioned grave robbing.
Cool video 🎉❤
This is so interesting ❤ just love it
That lady smelling mummified parts is pretty weird
the question is what does she do behind the camera
Mummies have an interesting smell 🤷
35:50 why she sounded like an anime or cartoon 😭😭😭
I wanna know more about time period of the hands an skull 😮
Odd they don't think of themselves as grave robbers.
Why are you disturbing our grandparents like that just let them lie in peace
Are u Egyptian??
@@SalmaMohamed-cy3cu do you know who Egyptians are I am sorry you are an Arabian not Egyptian 😂😂😂
@@samuelkingarthur4188 Lol, it seems that you are from the Afrocentric group that is simply trying to steal Egyptian history. Do you even know the difference between Egyptians and Arabs? Oops, of course you do not know because your information about the outside world is very limited 😂😂 and yeah I know who Egyptian are and sorry u not belong to them 😂
Exactly
@@samuelkingarthur4188ancient Egyptian they are current people, and u aren't Egyptian so keep dreaming 😂
Theory: The ring was there because one of his descendants visited him in the tomb, dropped the ring and lost it somehow. The ring must've been a gift. Hed did have many sons!
Some of the ceramic jars would’ve been used for mummification purposes
Cool 😎
My favorite dinosaur is T-Rex
My favorite dinosaur is barney
Just pray that this artefacts are all in hands of the riche ppl and that they all in pefect conditions
Good night
35:54 Edna be going crazy
Who knew sarah jessica parker became an archeologist 😮....
It’s too bad tourists can’t visit Egypt without getting harassed and ripped off
Why the hand are cut ???
Cosplay archeologists….😐
That was annoying me also . Chick looks like a flapper girl from the early 1900s .
Im sure theyve done and found more than you ever have
How dare y'all call them "grave robbers" and then choose to call yourself "archeologist" ! Call a spade a spade 😏
im watching this whole series....& i wanna jmp on ACO rlly bad right now...is that weird...
They are robbers too
whats with the two at the end role playing like they're in the 1890s
I exspected Lara Crofrt😂😂
Nice tom rider from resident evil
The real thieves are the ones who interrupt, destroy, and disrespect the tombs for wealth and gain. Rest well those who were disrespected❤
Tell me again the difference between grave robbers and archeology. Mayne the terms ritual and human sacrifice. The only difference
35:20 she look like a egyptian queen
cool stuff
But not only can say, T-Rex I can say Tyrannosaurus rex
น่าจะมีซับไทยด้วยยิ่งดีเลย
On the Andean Highlands, the sale of ancient, archeological, citadels or Tombs is ripe. It’s sad really that we refuse to return them to their original cultures.
