The ones that survived suffer from severe paranoia and PTSD. Let alone the ADAM addiction. I'd like to think they're the one's suffering the most from the war, and the adam.

Ducky didn't suffer as much as Rosebud splicers, but they sound like their life did turn to shit worse than the other male splicers and they were once loyal to the ideals of Rapture of course until being betrayed by Andrew Ryan and the chaos that had occurred overwhelmed them. :( At least they did learn to try and rely on themselves when getting betrayed and eventually before being spliced up by themselves and driven into insanity.
@@NightOwl1515 ya always saw em as officers, the book lends so much more depth to their characters imo especially when you consider just how much they've been through, these guys are the hardest of the hard, og rapture veterans, guess they all died off by the time of 2 sadly
@ieathotwheelscars21 new vegas does reused voice actors a helluva lot better than 3, 4 ruined it by having a voiced protagonist (big nono for fallout and basically squashed any hopes 4 still had to be an rpg) part from that the rest of the voice acting was good, though I still think better castings from new vegas in terms of main character va
I always imagine Toasty converting Ducky, and the two dancing around Rapture in a two person conga line. Then a third splicer comes along and asks them why they're dancing. Ducky replies: "Jeeeesus!" (3:38) making a rainbow gesture, and continues on dancing. xD
@Anthaon These dialogues only say when you have not seen, I mean when you have not attacked or they to you, it is because you always hear them talk like this without being looked at with camouflage tonic
Interesting, the same doesn't happen in bioshock II. In bioshock II the ducky in brown is a security officer and the one in white, wich only appears later in the game, is an orderly.
@TheEloeo His model is in it, but he has the voice of Ducky. I think thats sad, since while he was one of the more "average" model/voices in the first game, i liked Ducky's voice. And while Waders is cool, he could have kept his model. And besides, why did Waders suddenly abandon Jesus for Lambology?
I think his uber-paranoia has roots in the general paranoia of patrolling the streets of rapture, the same way baby jane's overly voiced crave for fame has roots in a suppressed crave for fame.
