This is proof that Bioshock's player morality choice system is even dumber than Mass Effect's. What kind of a sociopath would want to kill this poor little kid? Especially since she's convinced you're her Daddy. I mean, for fuck's sake, she rides around on your shoulder and yells cute little kid encouragements as you brutally kill Splicers. That's worth way more in terms of "game enjoyment" than a little bit of extra ADAM.
Well, you ideally kill them AFTER you use them to gather as much ADAM as you can. And there is a point to be made that they are brainwashed and mentally conditioned to remove their ability to perceive reality or make decisions, so they aren't really human anymore, but the existence of the plasmid which lets you save them makes it obviously more morally right to save them, since they were human before conversion and you have the power to give it back.
Finding child voice actors that are actually *good* is only a few difficulty levels below finding a unicorn. Just one bad voice actor in the mix and immersion goes out the window, I can only imagine the pains they went through trying to find the perfect fit for the little sister, and perfect it was. I'd find myself actually caring about the little sisters this time around, which I realized was solely due to the sweetness and flawless execution of their narration.
The only plasmid related one I knew of was "ooh, marshmallows!" When a splicer gets set on fire. I need to replay this and just wander about the levels with a little one on my shoulder
I'm keeping the splicers away from a Little Sister when I hear: "DADDY'S MAD AND YOU'LL BE SORRY!" I think: Mad? Understatement. Sorry? When I'm through with you, there won't be enough left of you to be sorry.
I have never been this attached to a character. No matter how many times I play this game, I can't ever hurt them. They're too sweet, innocent, adorable, and damnit! They need to be looked after.
I'm nowhere near my PS3, but when she screamed "Help me, Daddy, please!", I wanted to help here anyway however possible. . . . Man, what has this game done to me when big brother/fatherly instincts kick in just from quotes?
... I need to re-replay bioshock 2 and use different plasmids and such, there's a lot of dialogue I never heard because I always did my adam harvesting then saving the girls after rather than just carrying one around most of the level to hear her say stuff.
0:02 The only time I hear her use that line is when I haven't picked her up yet after her Big Daddy is killed off and she's left alone for a short period of time. It gets me every time ; w;
I always assumed that the deep male demonic voice is the way they actually sound through Delta's helmet. The little girl voice was the way his Big Daddy conditioning made them sound, like adorable little girls. Since his conditioning w
@mondenkindqueen They had intended to have different hair color (though do remember that during the something in the sea campaign, all little girls that were kidnapped were brunettes /except/ for Cindy Meltzer who was blonde). However, due to time constraints, they weren't able to do so. Other things they had wished to include (or at least mentioned that they had considered) was adding an achievement for saving Cindy as well as having a little more to do with her father, Mark.,
All dudes who play this game have a soft spot for these girls C: its in our fatherly nature. i swear tho, no matter how creepy they sound sometimes il always love'em.
I like how the Bioshock 2 Little Sister actually sounds like a real little girl. The Bioshock 1 voice feels annoyingly off with an adult trying to imitate a child.
I noticed the distortion in their voices ingame and always assumed it was side effect of having the freakish sea slugs implanted int their stomachs along with their own mental conditioning. I think most creepy aspect of the little sister for me was the fact they had creepy sea slug implanted in their stomach. Doubly so if you consider the production designs for the sea slugs to be canon.
Usually whenever a Big Sister is about to smash through into the room your in, when you hear her screeches and the video goes weird, thats when the Little Sister will say something like "Big Sister is coming".
The dialogue is just too cute, no matter how demented the voice sound! xD I love Little Sisters. I swore I would never harvest them.. I get too many awesome presents when I save them. 8D
Well if I ever considered going through bioshock killing the little sisters just to try something different, after hearing something this adorable I can never harvest one ever again.
@ThomasHayden1995 LOL I didn't even think of it like that, but that's just as funny. I just liked how she joked about two Big Daddies, which I didn't know she would do in the game.
They got the little sisters' voice dead on, just the right mix of cute and creepy. I love the weird effect under her voice. I think my favourite was 'Angel's remember mommy. Who is that?' Also, do the little sisters interact with eachother then? I had no idea!
Whenever a Little Sister is gathering ADAM and she screams, I get so mad haha. I react so fast and kill the Splicer that's touching her in the most brutal way possible.
i listened to this while I listening sad music from the first game. someone try it! it is awesome! or better, make a video with both so I can play it everyday!
Little Sister: Aaaaagh!! Daddy help!! me: Oh no you fuckin did not just touch my little girl!! D:< *punches splicer with a drill* FALLLLCOOON PUUUNCH!!!!
3:25 reminds me of when my little sister used to say the same thing. i wanted to click away when she started screaming continuously but then she started singing and i couldn't finish leaving. 6:43 is hilarious and marshmallows and bananas what???
I know she's creepy, and I know she's supposed to be creepy, but...just listen to how sweet she's trying to be. Poor kid.
"Ooohhh Marshmellows, Daddy!" I burned alot of splicers, just to hear that. Lol:)
Your comment made me feeled like : "Everything OK at home, pal?"
I was cracking up the first time I heard her say that😂

Youre right my friend :)
It's not that hard to find good child actors at all, it all depends on how you use them, generally children should be cast as children
The VA wasn't exactly a child but to be fair she's a lot closer in age to the Little Sisters than the one from the original.
She sounds so cute
In a creepy way.
I want to be a father when I'm older, this is a reason why, so adorable
Did you made it? :)
When the Little Sister giggles, I get diabeetus.
Seriously, I love that they actually had a young girl voice the Little Sisters in this game!
I think it's just one of those parent moments when you pat her on the head and say "Yes sweetie, whatever you say".
Super late, but maybe she means like....a. banana peel? I dunno
Like slipping on a banana peel, it's a humorous trap to amuse children
The only plasmid related one I knew of was "ooh, marshmallows!" When a splicer gets set on fire. I need to replay this and just wander about the levels with a little one on my shoulder

Oooh marshmallow
This brings back so many memories and all of those memories I hate
i found the little sisters in 2 to be very endearing somehow...
the quote "who watches over sleepy angels? I do...i do" fucking freaked me out 2:12
I'm nowhere near my PS3, but when she screamed "Help me, Daddy, please!", I wanted to help here anyway however possible.
. . .
Man, what has this game done to me when big brother/fatherly instincts kick in just from quotes?
At the beginning she sounded so sad...I wanted to cry. D;
"How much is that doggie in the, doggie in th- doggie in th- doggie in th-"
"Givezzzzz uzzzzz Honiezzzzzzzzz!!"
"...BANANA!" :D
She always melts my heart when she talks haha when I have a daughter I'm going to dress her up as a little sister for halloween haha
I wonder how it feels to have a slug in your thought
... I need to re-replay bioshock 2 and use different plasmids and such, there's a lot of dialogue I never heard because I always did my adam harvesting then saving the girls after rather than just carrying one around most of the level to hear her say stuff.
@jugboy222 I'm a girl and I keep thinking "I'M SUCH A GOOD FATHER!"
the male voice is the adam worm thing so yeah its basically the adam talking but mind of a little child
I love them so much. My daughters. My scrungly scrimblos. My bimbinis, if you will
0:02 The only time I hear her use that line is when I haven't picked her up yet after her Big Daddy is killed off and she's left alone for a short period of time. It gets me every time ; w;

5 splicers and 275 daddys
is that rape or a execution?
Apocalypse of daddy's that's what it is
Came across this due to planning my halloween costume. Love that this is up 👌
I know that feeling! My husband laughs at how protective I get over the Little Sisters
I was gonna say "Ooh, marshmallows!" was easily the best line but then I realized I haven't heard 2/3's of these.
Little sister: DADDY HE TOOK MY ADAM!!!
Me: YOU BITCH GET BACK HERE I NEED THAT D:
when she yawned, I yawned
@mondenkindqueen

I like the Bioshock2 little sisters more. The ones in the first one sounded like older women, these sound like lil kids
That's kinda funny bro I don't think I have ever thrown a pencil across the room
i must be very crazy because the little sisters were adorable to me in this game
I hear this and my mind goes:
"There's a Splicer nearby Needs Killin'! VREEM, VREEM, Motherfucker!"
All dudes who play this game have a soft spot for these girls C: its in our fatherly nature. i swear tho, no matter how creepy they sound sometimes il always love'em.
Awwwwww I freaking love the little sisters!!!! No one gets near my little sister!! Proud parent!! Haha
Keep this devil's niddle away from me
I like how the Bioshock 2 Little Sister actually sounds like a real little girl. The Bioshock 1 voice feels annoyingly off with an adult trying to imitate a child.
My doughter is here! Little devil

...was partially broken Subject Delta hears both.
0:16-0:19 these lines are used in a song called TRCKRTRT
i had no idea where it came from until i watched this
Yeah true
I have stalked and carried around baby sisters far too many times to be healthy - i havent heard the half of these.
Usually whenever a Big Sister is about to smash through into the room your in, when you hear her screeches and the video goes weird, thats when the Little Sister will say something like "Big Sister is coming".
@bloodydragon Jodelle Ferland was 16 when she voiced the little sisters.
By the way, she was Alessa in the Silent Hill movie.
even though its distorted its still cute
ITs cute in Bioshock 2 how the little sisters see things
"I'm ready daddy"-well then-
i just started this game today I adore the little sisters they sound so sweet yet sad
I've played through this game several times and I've never heard most of these.
Finish both games never harvest a single one of them. And in #2 the part you play as a little sister is the best.
It's much scarier on here, 'cause you notice the male voice in it. It's almost kind of like The Exorcist.
MARSHMALLOW!!!!!
The dialogue is just too cute, no matter how demented the voice sound! xD
I love Little Sisters. I swore I would never harvest them.. I get too many awesome presents when I save them. 8D
If the little sisters didnt wanna nom on me i'd hug them all
"Im daddy, no Im daddy" LOL.
Awwww so ADORABLE!!!! :)
mann it's so adorable!! i can never harvest them cuz I'll feel really bad! xb so I always rescue them! :D
The sisters were way creepier in 1. But nothing was as creepy as Sander Cohen and the splicers.
Well if I ever considered going through bioshock killing the little sisters just to try something different, after hearing something this adorable I can never harvest one ever again.
I may be a 17 year old girl, but god dammit...I'm a good Daddy xD
I totally lost it at the bananas part XD SOOOO CUUUTE!
God she's the reason I'm playing these games XD She's so FLIPPIN ADORABLE!!!
To cute.....must resist..... cuteness
Jodelle Ferland
oh my god your explanation is way better than what is really happening in the game.
her laugh is SO cute
how adorable she is...
@Geminilion100 It's not what they look like. They all release a pheromone that all Big Daddies are responsive to.
"Im daddy,No Im daddy!!!"
@ThomasHayden1995
LOL I didn't even think of it like that, but that's just as funny. I just liked how she joked about two Big Daddies, which I didn't know she would do in the game.
@NeonRawwr The truly creepy thing is, I completely agree.
They got the little sisters' voice dead on, just the right mix of cute and creepy. I love the weird effect under her voice. I think my favourite was 'Angel's remember mommy. Who is that?'
Also, do the little sisters interact with eachother then? I had no idea!
She's so cute
little sisters are the Achilles heel for men who play this game
Thanks for the post. I used samples from here, in a track i made awhile ago.
Whenever a Little Sister is gathering ADAM and she screams, I get so mad haha. I react so fast and kill the Splicer that's touching her in the most brutal way possible.
*delta die*
Little sister BRAAAH!
I just feel like im their father when they say "Run Daddy, it's Big Sister."
DADDY'S MAD AND YOU WILL BE SORRY!
*PEW PEW PEW* *BOOOOOOM*
Well, it's not because of the helmet. It happens in the first. It's because of the Sea Slugs that are in them.
Yes, that is why i love it!
Okay I just got to the screaming parts and thereafter.
I SUBMIT THAT THIS IS WAY CREEPIER.
i listened to this while I listening sad music from the first game. someone try it! it is awesome! or better, make a video with both so I can play it everyday!
God im going to miss Rapture, the little sisters, and the big daddies.
Im playing this over halloween sounds while i hand out candy :)
its probably the psycho in me. but if i had a daughter like a little sister i would be the proudest father in the world.
still good. :D
try concentrating on her second voice in the backround without being creeped out.
@TSKSilver "Can we keep it?" and "Owchies in your mouth and eyes"
when does she say the "good doggie" line?
I laughed so much when i lit a splicer on fire while she was with me and she giggled an said" marshmellows!:D"
6:43 is hilarious and marshmallows and bananas what???
zaps splicer
L.S-its dancing daddy dancing
@Scribbled2Death No, I believe it's when you hack a machine.
So...She says alot more...BECAUSE IN THE GAME IS ADAM DADDY ADAM DADDY ANGELS DADDY ANGELS DADDY!DADDYDADDYDADDY
@mondenkindqueen
I always thought that the little sisters all look like Eleanor to Delta.
