Morningstar has made midi so simple & straightforward - both using the device and programming it. Thank you for making the process so enjoyable!

Is there a way to have the Controller provide the active status of the preset that's engaged, like underlining or flashing the engaged preset, this would be helpful for pedals that don't have LCD screens.

Hi. Yes, you can use the toggle blink feature. Also enable ‘Clear Preset Toggles’ found under bank settings so that only the active preset will be blinking at any one time.

what happened to the MC3 pedal? discontinued? can't find it available anymore.

Hi. We have temporarily suspended MC3 production due to supply issues and do not have any visibility on when we will be able to start producing them again. However, it is unlikely to be any time soon. So if you do have MIDI controller needs, you should consider getting another. We have a product comparison chart here to help you understand the differences better - www.morningstarfx.com/compare-products

Hi! Im really curious about one thing. I don't know much about midi and i think that could be possible to execute. I have an hellix hx effects and strymon. Lets say I have reverb enabled on hellix and delay enabled on strymon. Can I setup one midi button that would kill reverb from hellix and delay from strymon instantly when i press and hold it and when releasing would it enable back my previous effects that were enabled (reverb on hx and delay on strymon in this case)? Also a note -> lets say that strymon has enabled tails on delays but i dont want tails on only this one midi switch (just kill the wet signal immediately) can I set this one button to also change this parameter on strymon to disable tails when i press and hold and when releasing could it go back to tails enabled? So when i disable the delay on a strymon pedal there is a delay tail afterwards?
Would really appreciate your help since this is extremaly important for me. Big gig incoming and I need to get your stuff asap! Thanks for great video!

Is there a way I could press a button to select my clean tone then press the same switch to send CC messages to other devices to add chorus/delay then press the same switch again to bypass chorus/delay?

You can use 3 different actions for each function. Release, Double Tap and Long Press.

Do the multi-press actions work for external foot switches? I have two Digitech FS-300's that I want to use as dedicated controls for my Boss RC-600 via my MC8. I have not begun programming yet, as I'm waiting for my ML10x to show up, before building my board....otherwise, I'd just figure all out on my own.

Yes, they do. External aux switches need to be non-latching and use a TRS cable. More information in this video: ruclips.net/video/IYEjrzsaSbc/видео.html

Hi. Yes, our controllers can send MIDI Song Select messages. Documented in our message type glossary here - morningstarengineering.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MMS/pages/181698784/Message+Type+Glossary#Song-Select
