The book also gives you key patterns and principles on the flow of water and sediment in both ephemeral and perennial flowing waterways, which will help you in the design, placement, and construction of many other in-channel strategies.

We know we historically had beaver in San Diego county because the Kumeyaay tribe that lives in the area have a name for beaver eventhough few exist here today. Great to see a new video from Brad.

For a great book on beavers and their benefits (in audio or written format), check out "Eager: the surprising secret life of beavers and why they matter" by Ben Goldfarb.
