- Shiny hunting Heatran in BDSP has been on my list for quite a while so I'm really happy to have this shiny! My 6th Shiny Legendary or Mythical from BDSP. I'm planning on clearing out the legendaries in Brilliant Diamond so expect some more hunts!

Does it matter if I save multiple times before I encounter Heatran? I'm certain it doesn't but I've been having a dry spell trying to get Shiny Heatran to spawn and looking for tips and pointers.
Yep, saving multiple times is completely fine. It doesn't actually generate the Pokemon until you press A to interact with it. Hopefully you can end your drought soon, good luck!
