Welcome to another thrilling episode of my vlog series, where we are dropping the engine on my Porsche 997.2 GT3 RS at Zweck. What started as an air conditioning fix quickly transformed into a mission to extract every ounce of power from this already incredible machine.
Join me as we take you through this unexpected journey, turning an unfortunate setback into an exciting opportunity. We start at Zweck, where we discover an AC leak that requires a complete engine drop to rectify. But why stop there? With the engine out, it's the perfect chance to turn the power dial all the way up with the Dundon Street Power Package.
We delve into the mods being added to the Porsche GT3 RS - a setup that is sure to take the power output beyond the 500HP mark. We're not just focusing on power, though. We also undertake comprehensive maintenance to bring this machine back to its peak, making it 'like new' once again.
In the midst of these massive modifications, we also take Suneal, the owner of Zweck, for an exhilarating ride in the GT4 RS. His reactions are a testament to the thrilling experience these Porsches offer.
This vlog is all about turning adversity into advantage, pushing the limits, and breathing new life into my 997.2 GT3 RS. Sit back, buckle up, and enjoy the ride!
8500 is the rev limiter for the 997.2 GT3s. The 8500 mark will be slightly in the red. 8400 is 997.1. Some tunes can get you to 8700 rpm where it’s only range 1 dme still.
Thank you my brother. I still haven’t hit it lol. That red in the rev counter is misleading AF 🤣
@@MiamiMiles I don't know how these car manufactures do their rev counter lol Lambos redline says 8500 but you can rev to 9000 as well.
I’ve hit around 8500 in my .1
This is insane. You’re killing it, man
Thank you my brother 🙏🏻
Talked to Alex at Sharkwerks and they’re booked out til summer 2024. They’re slammed and only one guy does everything lol
Good thing I did these mods then haha. I will have to call to get my place in line
@@MiamiMiles yeah man, probably good to schedule with them now. I'm interested in how the Dundon intake manifold will perform, along with the power package.
has anyone done the SW 4.1 with the Dundon D4 power kit together?
That was a true definition of making lemonade out of lemons. Can’t wait to see what this beast will become. If it wasn’t already a beast to begin with lol!
I got it back already… WOW. Can’t wait to share the result with you my brother 🙏🏻
Cool stuff in the 3RS, Mickey!😎🤙🏽 Are the wheels on your 4RS the 'Satin White Gold Metallic'?
Thank you my friend 🙏🏻 yes those are the wheels on the car
I don't think there is an actual rev limiter, I have never experienced any ignition/timing cut. A yellow triangle appears as you approach 8400 to warn you of a range 1 over-rev, but nothing is stopping you from more throttle input, (besides a poor DME report lol), and even still there is a decent buffer between the stated max engine speed and what it takes to trigger an over-rev log. I have surely gone past 8,400, by small margins, and my DME has yet to be affected.
Thank you my friend for letting me know 🙏🏻
Don t tuch in this engine man.. this car its future f40.
this was made by genius engineers, it's not for boys to invent
I got it back after the Plenum and Dayuuuuuuum. I don’t think I’ll be touching this one haha
Dude, you’re making me really want one of these or even a regular 997.2 gt3…or making me consider headers on my touring for a more raw experience
Dundon all day my bro. It’s so loud it’s disrespectful lol
@@MiamiMiles I know, I’ve got a Dundon mini crack pipe on it right now and it’s epic. I feel like headers would make it unusable on the highway
have had on my Touring since 2019, highly recommend as significant increase in mid range punch and better sound
@@brianhimmelman420 dundon or something else?
@@kamrannaidoo93 Dundon street headers and 93 plenum intake … used a factory OEM titanium center from the RS … sounds perfect
Awesome Porsches. GT4RS ain’t doin 7’s 60-130 though…
Wrong. I have a sub 8 second dragy with OAP’s and a cat back. I bet with my setup it runs deep 7’s.
has anyone done the SW 4.1 with the Dundon D4 power kit together?
I want too.
Oh shit!!!! 🎉
epicness
Strad didn't give it the full beans and take it on some nice roads or he would have wanted to buy one. Also you can buy a GT2 in Canada for like 400k the old one (You should do a supercharger on one of the Porsche's)
Here too. I’ve thought about a GT2 a lot. That was a GT2RS though. They are so damn expensive. Supercharger would be sick on a. High mileage 991 RS
Some people want a car for looks. Porsche people value the driving experience more than the brand
@@mg-by7uu Porsche is a drivers car 100% It's the reason I keep buying them .

should've seen this coming lol
🤣 you know me too well
dayyyyyyuuuuummmm
❤😂😢😮😅😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 bro check out ES motors for your Porsche out of UK. They got one that’s 2000 hp 0 to 203.73 seconds.
Mickey I'm more interested in how you made that dough, to just casually drop 280k on a car 🤯
I’ve been thinking the same 😃
