Love your kitty.

Oh what lovely experiments. You have inspired me to try this at the weekend. By the way that plant is a Cotinus Coggygria or Smoke Bush. I love this plant, I have one in my front garden.
Thanks a lot for the name!!! it was there when we bought the house and had no idea!!!
in French it’s called ‘wig tree’!!! 😂
@@CecileYadro i like wig tree, it’s more whimsical than smoke bush :-)
We have a smoke bush in our front garden too and it does look misty when in flower. A beautiful shrub.
Great tips. I especially like the first one…..I find myself not wanting to waste precious supplies to practice on.
Glad it was helpful!
Whoa your ring is really breathtaking 💍
Oh thank you!
Right now my fav tip is the first one. I am using a very cheap sketchbook to draw daily with bad quality paper and... I am loving it!
No pressure, just drawings and colors.
Yes i love this tip too! a good way to have fun!
You speak directly to me! Je t'aime! (In today's video, I particularly love the purple vine plant you did outside. ❤️✝️🌹✝️❤️
Oh thank you!
@@CecileYadrothe purple vine was my favorite too! What is the name of it if I may ask?
Also loved the dip pen sketches! ❤️
ive been struggling to draw loosely with the fear of 'wasting' my art supplies, but honestly you made me feel like i have nothing to fear :') thank you so much. you've been insanely helpful to my art journey. with your videos assisting me, i think i'll be able to finish a sketchbook, once and for all. cause i have dozen of sketchbooks but i cant fill them all up hahaha so im hoping ill get to!
Love this message, thank you! I'm happy if I can help you in your art journey!
Oh, you're a genius! These are brilliant tips! All these are just amazing ideas! I will try everything)❤❤❤
Wow! thanks a lot!!! 🥰
You're crazy on this day Cecile,i love it😂
You have a beautiful garden to relax and paint in.
I like that you make use of your fingers to smudge and mix the paint, i will try this next time i paint😊❤
Thanks so much 😊
Yes, you are so right about not using the more expensive stuff, what a waste. Now I will definitely use them. Thanks for waking me up.

I just discovered your channel through this video and immediately subscribed, you give of such a nice and friendly vibe and I love drawing whilst watching (or listening to) this kind of content
Thank you so much!!
Lovely, lovely videos. Please, I’m struggling with everything figure drawing (proportions, faces, hands, etc). Also, I believe your tree with burgundy leaves is a smoke bush (Cotinus coggygria). Nice blooms.
Thank you, it's also called a wig tree in French.
I really appreciate your tips. Oh you have a very lovely garden & space to do some Plein Air painting. I really appreciate your 1st, 3rd, & 5th tips, especially with the first one-Don’t be afraid to use your materials. I’ve just recently finished organizing my art supplies & found out I have an abundance of watercolor papers & sketchbooks. So I need to really continue to do some artwork everyday. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video!
Thank you Colleen!
@@CecileYadro You’re welcome ☺️!
Great tips...Thank you😊
Thanks for watching!
I love the last sketchbook spread - the variety and looseness are amazing. Thank you for sharing!
Glad you like them!
This is a great video! There was one piece on your sage page I especially liked and you didn't talk about it at all. It was on the lower left of the page. I am guessing that was a Neocolor II piece? Perhaps Neocolor I and dry pastels? Maybe something else altogether? Anyway, I loved it all. I especially loved the strawberry stamps and that luminous sage on the lower left.
The one you're talking about in the sage page is made with Neocolor II.
Love your wonderful content. Thank you!
🥰 thanks!
Thanks for your video! I really enjoyed it! Love your garden, your cat and your approach to art. I will be trying all your tips this weekend, they seem so much fun! :)
Let me know how it goes?
Very nice video Cecile, so beautiful tutorial, wonderful sketches and cat😍😍
gracias!
Oh merci beaucoup !
Hey Cecile, thank you for your great tips! I will experiment with them for sure. 🌺💯🎨
Have fun! this is the most important!
i've been struggling with this a lot, i have a tendency of getting so rigid with my art i never get to drawing anything because i feel so beheld to the structure of the drawing and being so stiff
just let it go! or draw with your non dominant hand it will help you to loosen your drawing.
i'm definitely going to give this a try! your video also inspired me to draw things and go in deep, like sunflowers and dandelions, i've really been enjoying it! @@CecileYadro
I dont like recent trend...loose loose art...where it is difficult to understand the painting...impressive style is ok...but love impressionistic yet realistic
I guess we all have different styles!
