Instead of Electrokinesis Ares should've had Pyrokinesis as that would've made more sense. I mean look at his armor it is legit made of fiery metal.
He has both. God level Electricokinesis inherited from Zeus, and Pryokinesis in conjunction with weapon/armor creation.
So basically when Remus Lupin died he was reborn as the God of War, and then died again.

@@ultimateman3065 It is true that Zeus is the father of Diana, but something that is usually left out is that Hippolyta along with her sisters Antiope and Melanopipe are the daughters of Ares with their mother Otrea. However, this has never stopped Zeus from having relationships with the children and descendants of his own kin, this is why Ares has thousands of half siblings, even one of Wonder Woman's sidekicks Wonder girl Cassie Sandsmark is another daughter of Zeus who Ares himself has mentored from to time again

They didn't fail they DID IT and it's not really Greek mythology sense it's DC Greek mythology not the original
But even then in the original Greek mythology Zeus is the reason mankind exists and that is also the case for DC universe in some version so what you mean

I'm talking about Ares here, which in this movie is essentially Lucifer-lite. And since you brought up Zeus, he is also reduced to a diet version of the new testament version of God, albeit dead and WonderGal a poor Jesus analogy. And while I'm all for interpretation and retelling of old myths, tis a great way to keep those stories going, I'm tired of the defacto use of judeo-christian ideals, especially for Greek mythology. And I know it is basically ingraved in the US culture and stuff but that's not an excuse.
