Regardless of everything else, the graphic arts company that did the magic in this movie is absolutely incredible.

ITs amazing seeing Medivh before his corruption... way cooler than what I always imagined him to be but definitely lives up to his name as the guardian.
He is a good Sorcerer but he should have looked up in his books what the fel was first

@@quentinultramegadroiteradi7345 medivh was born with a shard of Segaras inside him. The same Segaras that gave the Fel to Gul'Dan and the same that turned Ner'Zul into the lich kings crown , ect. Wich was the reason he was able to connect like that and use the Fel in the first place , because it has to be given to you

@@sercanguzel2961 Disagreed. The movie was a pretty spot-on depiction of rise of the horde and the last guardian, two books which tell the story of Warcraft 1 from different perspectives. I think it was fantastic, even with the minor changes they did make, which truth be told, there aren't many changes.
@@APorter0130 Not really, they should have ended the first movie with the death of King Adamant or the first siege of Stormwind (the ending being that the Knights of the Humans broke the Orcish Horde, scattering their orcish army and rescuing the citizens and soldiers in Stormwind (mainly by the Brotherhood of the Horse). Then only for the audience to be shown that the Orcish Army sent towards Stormwind was only a small part of the real Horde, which is now moving through the Portal), not at the death of King Llane. The First War should have been two or maybe even three movies. With the second war being two movies on its own. In conclusion, I think the movie was to fast-pased and should have explained and explored more things more thoroughly. Give a map of the whole Eastern Kingdoms, of the other humans kingdoms, where Dalaran is, why they don't help (Stormwinds isolationist policies for the last century etc) and more.

I love this movie
This brings back memories, I had just gotten into the Dr Strange comics and didn't think they could do the magic of Dr Strange any justice visually on the big screen. So when I saw this in the cinemas this movie completely changed my mind of what could be done using visual effects. A couple of months later, I remember avoiding all the trailers for Dr. Strange as I wanted to see the movie fresh without any any spoilers only to become extremely pissed when I realised that instead of a flashy WoW movie type visuals we instead got a massive rip-off of that Nolan Inception movie. Fun times🤣 Seems so silly now
Brought my grandmother to see this with me in theaters. Was always waiting for a sequel but it never happened.
Well the sequel were the World of Warcraft games, as this was the background that led to the events of Reign of Chaos

They fucked it up when they made Garona some kind of heroine just because they had to have a female lead or something, garona in the original story was an insidious assasin and was the cause of the downfall of many characters, later down the line she has her redemtion arc after she gets freed of the mind control that guldan had on her, but the story is so different when she suddenly becomes the hero right away.
Garona did befriend Medivh, Khadgar, and Lothar in the book the Last Guardian. it was NOT her choice to betray them and kill king Llane.

Something about that younger mage (not Medivh) looks anachronistic to me, IDK why. Something about how he talks and how they did his hair makes him look like a cosplayer more so than an actual in-universe mage.

Wonderful special effects, fun characters (until he gets consumed by the Fel)...rarely get to see the good guys have lots of power (and use it). Fyi, I don't think the Kharazan encounter in WoW was that great considering how powerful he appears in the movie.

it kinda feels like there didnt really go much research into the video. maybe looking up the names of the spells , what class they belong to , how they work , why he can use them , why he has those weaknesses. A bit of explaination instead of inventing weird names for obvious things

Its so lame how the story writers and 3d film graphic designers drop the stone/mud golem on medivh after he gets possed before getting to see some of possed medivhs final form powers from absorbing the fell energy after being the blue energy got currupted by green energy due to interacting with the orc shamin/warlock, I don't think its a war lock I do believe its just a sharmin.

Assuming Medivh can call upon his full power, Wanda will win but she will not come out unscathed. She will have to earn that victory. Now if she goes up against Sargeras, she loses. A living planet and supreme warrior supercharged with corruptive and immensely destructive energies. Medivh cannot call upon Sargeras' power willingly though.

It's pretty clear the person who edited the video is probably not a WOW fan and just named the powers according to his understanding.
That's not something you should condescendingly correct by typing Bold letters as if you're giving a massive lecture before a Judgement sentence.
If I were a big fan of something, a book series or an animation or whatever, and someone who isn't much of a fan but likes such things makes a video about it, but uses wrong terminologies, I can just simply correct the person mildly. And not act like a jerk.
