Oh my, the best food I have ever had was in Turkey. Lamuchen was my favourite, along with stuffed squash blossoms, fresh pots of yogurt, grilled halloumi with eggplant, olive bread.... Of all the countries I have visited I believe I loved Turkish food the best of all. I will try your recipe, thanks!
guys do ur self a huge favour by roasting the veggies b4 blending them,,, man that harness takes u to another level. yogurt and mint sauce to cut thro the richness of the lamb,, u r set for life
Hussain not the Turkish way. I’m sure what you described tastes good though. What she makes is traditionally eaten with ayran (yogurt drink) instead of putting any sauce in it.
Pizza Kosta it is a food that became wide spread all over the Ottoman Empire back in those times, some say the original is Assyrian (5000 years old) So the food is of the lands of Anatolia and Middle East. Turks have lived there for centuries, so have Armenian, Arabs, Syrians... The food tradition was passed to many cultures. This recipe is currently such a staple of Turkish cuisine, that you can find and order it in almost any restaurant in Turkey, no matter which region of Turkish cuisine they are actually specializing in.

dude this aint pizza but looks super delish!
No it's not. Over the years (English) people struggle to say Lahmacun, pronounced Lah-Ma-Jun, so Turks made it simple for them.
@@fatedestiny1397 yeah ı am a turk and orginal turk lahmacun is so good
Meat looks a little undercooked. Not sure about this, because video does not provide enough clue. And definitely no yeast for dough.
I am a turk
I LOVE lahmajun. It's not just Turkish but a lot of Arab countries (Lebanon too) do it. So damn good. Definitely going to try out this recipe.

No offence but that recipe have been saved into my Gordon Ramsey playlist)
Stan Owden I’m confused about this comment. Could you explain?
Gordon ramsay is not the best cook to be honest. Indeed he's famous, but not thw best

@@KAST96 recipe of lahmacun is so good that i saved it to my playlist with all the best cooking recipes witch happens to be Gordon Ramsey.
@@KAST96 I other words i'm rating this recipe as good as Gordons.
Pizza is an inappropriate name. Lahmacuns tradition is much older.
Atmos Fear it’s a way to describe it to people who have never seen lahmacun. No need to take it seriously.
It's all the same tradition, it's mediterranian food.
