15:40 YES! THANK YOU DAN!! I feel the same way about the way movies are made now. It WAS a special thing when a movie got a sequel, but now it just feels like artists are obligated to make a sequel so the company can make a bazillion dollars from it, instead of, ya know, TELLING A FUCKING STORY. A new animated movie came out called Namona, and it was unapologetically pro queer representation and it had a beginning, middle, and end. The story was COMPLETE. IT HAD A SATISFYING ENDING!! All these bullshit Marvel movies give the viewer homework. It's like they expect the audience to know everything about every event that happens in the multiverse and it's just not fun at all. I'm ok with the concept of a multiverse, the two Spiderman Spiderverse movies do it really well! But they also tell an amazing story about amazing characters and they don't expect the audience to know anything about Spiderman. It could be your first Spiderman movie and it's still very enjoyable and entertaining and thought provoking! Also, the first Spiderverse movie had a satisfying conclusion that was open to the idea of a sequel, but it's not required to tell the full story. THAT'S how movies should be made!
I totally get what Arin means by the iconography of films. I do get the feeling that films today are often very focused on having iconography in them in the form of scenes, lines, or just things in the film that people immediately gravitate towards and make into memes and turn into that popular thing people will remember from the film. They don't necessarily put that *above* having a good story, but there is a conscious decision in the filmmaking process to include things for the sake of turning them into those iconic things people will remember, as opposed to the focus being exclusively on telling a good story and the iconography coming about naturally from people being invested in it. There are definitely lots of things you can look at in modern movies where you could say "this was probably added for reasons besides serving the story or characters, and it probably involved a focus group", heh.
I genuinely wanted to be upset at Arin’s hot takes and quick turn around on them but then I watched him try to get the key in the shrine and was like “Oh. Right.”

@@lare290 Thank you, him saying "it won't turn" with another tire sitting right there made me want to reach through the screen and pull his little moustache hairs.
But is it a marvel MOVIE? (;
A marvel or stupidity and sucking at games
??? Did you watch him fail monumentally inside the shrine? We must be watching different episodes 😂
This episode single-handedly shaved off a good portion of my life
That bit with rewind where he moved the block to get across the pit was honestly really clever and Arin spends the rest of the episode doing the most hilarious things. Flawless. 10/10, total redemption for this episode at the end.
Yuhhh?
Fuck!

Omfg, I can't breathe... JFC on a cracker. The temple. This is my new favorite episode, I haven't laughed this hard in a minute. Ho boy, I needed that.
The thing that keeps me laughing so hard through these few episodes is that Arin, at no point for any reason, has ever considered "maybe I shouldn't be here yet."
No. He thought that. "I forget which episode but outside the Impa ruins scene whilst fighting Black Goblin dudes he encountered a dragonbone boko bow and asked if he was in a place he shouldn't be."
This episode, maybe more then any other, is definitely Billy's favorite.
Hey Billy what was your favourite Game Grumps episode?
I really liked the one when Arin kept throwing a claymore in the air because he ran out of arrows trying to cut a chest and ball down for a looooooooong time!

As someone with ADHD that gets me talking in tangents at times i feel very attacked but also yes this is absolutely true.
@@Lucky_Dagger I do this, but usually when I go off on tangents I never get back around to where I came from.
I knew right from the start that Arin was eventually going to regret firing off his arrows willy-nilly at every innocent forest creature.
In his defense, those forest critters are good eating. You can make copious spicy pepper squirrel mushroom shish kabobs
I just wasted 15 minutes watching two guys creatively fail at completing a shrine and now I'm gonna waste another 15 rewatching it
37:10 Hearing her laugh after Arin ran out of arrows so he throws his sword and fails kills me.
This episode justifies why I am correct to be in complete terror any time I have less than a hundred arrows.
yeah Arin using his resources so cavalierly gives me anxiety lol
Once you start to be able to take down lynels, arrows are no longer a concern. They drop SO MANY.
The end killed me "That was THIS episode?!!!"
that broke my personal record for shouting at Arin through the screen - "put on the other wheel, that one, that one there, the one in the near distance that just swung into view!!!"
Its like an episode of dora
I could even see the cogs in his brain moving while he stared at the second wheel... just to find out he was thinking the wrong idea and tried to detach the steering stick
Almost as infuriating as when he was looking for the 4th shrine on tutorial island and looked in every direction EXCEPT left to see the path up to it.

WHAT WHEEL?! THERE IS NO WHEEL! WHAT ARE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT?! I DON'T SEE ANYTHING!
Happy 10 year Dannyversary!
I’m a fan of comic books and superheroes and I completely understand where Dan is coming from and found Arin’s rant fucking hilarious
Classic Game Grumps.
Believe it or not, episodes like this are why I keep watching.
Amen
I really liked the part where Arin was in the Gas Ass shrine for a LOOOOOOONG time
I genuinely wanted to be upset at Arin’s hot takes and quick turn around on them but then I watched him try to get the key in the shrine and was like “Oh. Right.”
Arin summarizing the episode at the end was the funniest bit of today😂😂
Wow, I watch all the Marvel movies and shows but that Raising Canes slander hit me SO much harder. Arin is insane!

the whole marvel movie rant in the beginning is the most sane arin has ever sounded to me in 10 years of watching game grumps. i agree with him in every aspect
9:53 Arin's gone so far he had to "Arin, WTF are you talking about?" himself
Happy 10th Dannyversery! With an opening tirade like that, (which I just need to see animated,) you know the episode's going to be great. And don't worry Arin, seeing you try so hard, only to cause your own downfall is why we come here. In that way, you're doing great.
Very true. An animation would be great.
10 years. Wow.
Same.
A time for celebration, alright. 🎉
I’m still waiting for them to figure out how to fuse a rock with a stick to make a hammer to break rocks. They literally taught that in one of the tutorial shrines, and they never really thought about using the fuse ability again.
Arin called his axe a hammer last episode, and keeps trying to use it to break rocks. There's *two* things he needs to figure out.
@@Tenebrae42 there is far more than 2 things he needs to figure out.

Watching Arin miss a cave and give up on building a vehicle when a second wheel and a control console were right there hurt me more than it should have
