And the thing is that this is a repeated issue- at times, rather than using a walk-through or pausing the episode to see what to do, Arin struggles through it stubbornly. It quickly becomes less entertaining and more frustrating when he rants about games when he doesn’t bother to understand what’s going on. It’s been years, there’s no good excuses. Quick edit: I and others have also noticed that sometimes this attitude does affect Dan as well- he’s more willing to see the game through and understand the story, and Arin doesn’t always do that, so constantly cracking jokes or whining kind of ruins the experience. Again, I love them! But it sucks

I love them, but after having 300 hours in TotK, my patience is way less in this series. Arin did a great job so far but lmfao, so many times I was like "Ascend!" All the way to episode 50
I appreciate you creating and sharing this compilation, as always; but HOW could you leave out the "Princess Daphne's overloading!" bit from the scene at 48:38?!? That was one of my favorites from this entire series XD

Lots of people complaining about this series (which I know you can complain and enjoy, and it’s hard to watch someone struggle the specific way Arin does) but I’m having a lot of fun with it! Honestly I just put it on like a podcast while I play games, and every episode is a banger

Multiple people have said that, in future animations, Arin should be Link, and Dan, Tulin. Now I imagine, whenever Link-Arin dies, Tulin-Dan gets a fairy out of his pocket to revive him.

this is going to sound really mean, but i promise i dont mean it like that. seeing arin play botw and totk makes me feel so much better about how i play. i genuinely felt like i sucked and was doing so poorly but like... this guy plays vido games for a living. and ive fallen off far fewer mountains than him! what an accomplishment.
