Mueez Hassan So butthurt that I said my opinion? Gg plus 100000000000 people said that already seen like half of it so pretty much that's old. Anyways i'm going to sleep We will talk after i'm awake
Watching this thanksgiving of 2017. I find it awesome how far Jordan has come in six years, and to see how much he has grown as both a person and a channel.
just started playing minecraft like a decade late. this is the only video i've found that actually explains the basics of how redstone works. Alot of new stuff is out thats not on here but actually came away understanding what I watched.
This has helped me a lot.... I have played minecraft for almost a year now and never knew what to do with it and just now thinking I should, so this was very helpful
Not gonna lie, I did go into this video expecting bad audio and muddled explanations, but instead found clear definitions and even slightly humourous moments. Keep up the good work, man. You helped out a lot. :)
Thank you so much. I just started playing minecraft for the first time.. and I am really having a hard time understanding how red stone works. This video helped me a lot to get one big step forward in understanding it. I am still confused, but not like before. I cam at least start experimenting in game to better understand it. Thanks again :)
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!! I have never really understood redstone until now. I rate this 5 stars. Now I can be ready when MCPE comes out with the full redstone update.
I have been collecting redstone and until now, had no idea what to do with it all. I understand your video (Despite repetitious wording or other faults :) ) and am glad someone dumbed it down for me. Thank You!
Valters W I /am/ a noob, what's your point? :) One thing I really hate about Minecraft is that you're judged about not knowing what to do. How 'bout instead of judging new players, you help them for once? ;)
Fantage Hearts ok here's help: to give yourself armor, do /give (your username) (armor name) (amount you want) for armor name, instead of using spaces like "diamond legggings" you must use underscores like "diamond_leggings" to make the nether portal is that you need to /setblock obsidian in specific spots so that it makes a portal formation, then light it by doing /setblock fire in the portal the command is /setblock (x) (y) (z) (name of block you want to place) you're welcome
bob bobby Wow, thanks! I wasn't expecting anyone to actually help! xD Although, one question: is there a really good site you'd recommend to find more commands?
Valters W I think so...? I've done a few things with pistons, but like I said before, redstone is really confusing for me, so I don't normally do it. I /do/ do my best to practice; I just wish someone would help me. I can't find any good tutorials on RUclips that I especially like xP How long did it take you to learn redstone/how did you learn?
AHH LOL I just looked up redstone tutorials so I could learn the more complex things and I clicked this without realizing it was CaptainSparklez XD This makes me happy
hey man, thanks for taking the time to teach us dummys*. I have messed around but usually gain inconsistency when i try to mix it up. Im still dabbling but at least i can use many applications for hotels, fish huts, stores, homes, castles, etc. big thanks.
Very cool. Very informative. And to-the-point. My question was answered in the first 30 seconds, but I feel better for watching the whole video. Thanks, man.
I was like OH this video is perfect for me, just wt I was looking for, then it was by captain sparkles ( one of my favorite youtubers ) so its a dubble whammy :D thanks captain sparkles this helped a ton!
good tutorial. actually learned the basics. could have been more specific with rules of redstone circuitry. however im sure with using information provided in this video. someone can figure the rest out. like everyone else has.
Thanks CaptainSparklez - started yesterday trying to electrify my world and couldn't figure out some of those principles. You just clarified a lot (^^,)
Computers facilitate the implementation of ideas which are communicated from humans through programming. All computer systems have accessible memory and at least one processing unit. During operation, processing units execute instructions stored in the computer's memory. Most computers are made of redstone, torches, and repeaters leading into sticky pistons or redstone lamps. They are controlled using a series of buttons, levers, pressure plates, etc. simple....
This is a really helpful video! Gets you started in the right direction for building! (I mean there was no earth shattering kaboom but, what the hell) (remember always end with an earth shattering KaBoom!)
How do you make the pulse of your redstone last longer? For example I'm building a crusher for mobs, when i push the button to crush the mobs, the pulse doesn't last long enough to do enough damage.
I saw your vid and its great help, but I have a question if its possible if you can guide or give me tips on how to do it where it actually works. {Hopper}+{Hopper }+(Dispenser) (
Hey SRGTxSCUBA941 (xbox gtag) Love your videos man I'm semi new too minecraft but love it! Haven't done any enchanting or anything super elaborate yet cuz still learning but I positively love your helpful videos and guides! Your videos are the most helpful for many, many reasons (A big one is the fact you speak CLEAR English,!!! So many others you can't even begin too understand what the hell anyone is saying, and your videos are very "followed through" as in you explain in detail so THANKS!!!
Guys... If you ask about all this new stuff like sunlight detectors and comparators.. The reason it isn't in this is because it is still in BETA!!!!! his was made in 2011
Wow. I really learned a lot from this. It's pretty cool. Thanks Captain. Oh Captain, My Captain. Oh. And what about Redstone lamps? I settled up 1 line of redstone lamps surrounding a room, like about 15x15. But it only lit up 3. So I don't know exactly how to light all of the lamps.
I didn't actually know this was captain sparkalez untill the video finished
lol same 😂
wow! Comparing redstone from Beta 1.4 to redstone in Minecraft 1.11... we've come so very far. Pistons for example, ha ha! ah, good old days...

This video is very well prepared and put together. I love it!!
Thanks for making this video! I am such a mood when it comes to redstone
This was the video I first left a like on. This video caused me to want to create my account and like the video.
As an electrical engineer, I must say that this tutorial helps tremendously. 10/10 would recommend.
This helped a lot!! I didn't know how to use red stone before that much and this video helped!
You are already showing me the things I already know and things I figured out on my own.
also that's one way to end a video, by a big explosive or something.
I was like OH this video is perfect for me, just wt I was looking for, then it was by captain sparkles ( one of my favorite youtubers ) so its a dubble whammy :D thanks captain sparkles this helped a ton!
Thank you for the redstone beginner's tutorial. Liked, Subscribed, Rung the bell, & added to my top secret Minecraft Playlist.
I'm kinda new to playing minecraftand your video helped me out quite a bit. thank you very much.
Thank you so much! All the other redstone videos are sooooooooo complicated. I'm just a beginner minecrafter.
Very helpful. Thank-you very much. Hadn't thought of all the applications yet or figured out the repeaters. :)
You know what I just realized I've been playing mine craft for years and I learned something new

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for making this! It was unbelievably helpful.
Your video helped me understand red stone a lot better. Thanks for the help.

Thanks a lot, its sucks to be like the only one not knowing how to make epic stuff in my group of friends, but now i can!
This is a really helpful video! Gets you started in the right direction for building! (I mean there was no earth shattering kaboom but, what the hell) (remember always end with an earth shattering KaBoom!)
The textures on the older versions of the game are pretty cool I didn't realized they changed much
I actually didn't know that Captain Sparkles had made this until I saw the comments.
Excellent video. Helped me a lot actually.
You dont actually need redstone torches to carry a circuit upwards, you can use glowstone in a zigzag pattern going up and create vertical wire
I don't know why but this video made me very happy.
Great video, dude. Thanks for taking the time to make it. :)
Cool man I respect the fact you take time out of your own day to do this for us noobs lol thanks again
thanks !! redstone used to confuse me so much but not anymore ! :)
XD omg i was just scrolling through redstone and i see my favorite youtuber ever make THIS!!! XDXDXD
How do you make the pulse of your redstone last longer? For example I'm building a crusher for mobs, when i push the button to crush the mobs, the pulse doesn't last long enough to do enough damage.
Use a lever or a pressure plate

As of a newer update (this was uploaded 1 and a half years ago), you can do the same thing with arrows against a wooden button.
awesome video man i was so confused before i saw this
helpful. although i'm on 1.6.2 still worth watching for a basic understanding. looking forward to an updated expanded tut for beginners. thx
you should make another video doing more complex redstone stuff if you haven't already
Guys... If you ask about all this new stuff like sunlight detectors and comparators.. The reason it isn't in this is because it is still in BETA!!!!! his was made in 2011
