I just picked up an 05 Escalade The oil pressure gauge shows 80 I’m sure it’s just the sensor since it drives fine Would any happen to know if this is an expensive fix ? Thanks
It's probably just an oil pressure sensor. A mechanic can hookup an analog Guage and read the actual pressure. The sensor is pretty cheap and not hard to install at all. Not a big deal

@calimike9240 if the other seat functions work, then I would suspect that the seat motor for that particular function is no good. These seats have several motors it's not uncommon for the motors to seize. What you can do is take a small hammer and strike it a few times. This sometimes will free the motor up and allow it to spin again. Also, check the pig tail connection to the motor, they sometimes get loose and have a bad connection at the motor. Outside of that, you can have a bad seat module...but that would be pretty rare.
@calimike9240 try it and let me know. I'd your lucky it will start working. If not, you may need to replace the motor. The forward and reverse motor gets used the most obviously. So they can go bad or get stuck like I mentioned. Pretty easy fix either way. You can buy a seat motor on ebay for like 26 bucks if it comes to that.
For some reason my heater fan won’t blow air even though my dad swears it’s been replaced and he says I hit a button. He says he hit the ac button or something one time and couldn’t get it figured out for a while. Any ideas?
When you changed the blower motor, did you change the blower motor resistor? The resistor brings power to the motor and also changes the motor speeds. If the motor is good, and the fuse isn't popped, the resistor is definitely you best bet at fixing the problem.
@@matthewmilton9320 dad says the heater worked fine right before I got the truck from him and warned me not to press the snowflake button (AC) because he did that one night and couldn’t get the fan to blow hot air until he messed with all the buttons somehow. Have you ever heard of that issue?
@@sirsmokealot5818 I haven't heard of this exact issue, but I have heard that the climate control panel does go bad on these vehicles and that's what sounds like your problem is. This part is easy to change and family cheap on eBay. From what your describing, I believe the climate control unit is no good.

Mine as well. They were nice and simple compared to the new ones where everything is electronic.

@@chuckque6234 you might want to check the fuse. Sometimes water gets in the connection and it will blow the fuse for the hitch
