  • I go through how I picked my college classes for my freshman year at UChicago - I definitely overthought it and worried too much, but here are some pieces of advice that I wish I had known before I got started
I go through details within the UChicago core, which classes are easy, which classes are harder (remember its very subjective), and also included some general college class planning strategy for you guys!
Let me know if this was helpful, and best of luck to everyone coming to UC in the fall :)
*I’m so sorry it glitched from 0:24-0:28 !! I didn’t notice until just now right before I scheduled the upload and deleted the old footage so I can’t re-do it;-;*

‼️BLACK LIVES MATTER, even though the protests seem to be no longer a "hot topic" and media coverage is decreasing. The problem is NOT solved, our attention span has simply lapsed.
I try not to talk politics on this channel (follow my ig if you want my thoughts) -- but this is beyond "political". This is a legitimate hazard and disaster for society.

Really appreciate the people that give advice on what to actually DO once you get into one of the hardest schools in the world. Remember my friend getting into MIT and straight up admitting that he hadn't quite thought about what he'd do once he actually got in lol

Thank you for this! So if we’re kinda pinned down taking a lot of prereqs for our majors first year, is there some easier SOSC sequence you would recommend taking or a year or what types of majors the sequences kind of align with? Thank you!

Hi Chloe, you’re taking a well-rounded education based on your choice of courses but I would rather focus on topics that relate more to developing skills for the real world such as computer science, data science, economic & financial analysis, etc. You should focus on what knowledge & skills most employers are looking for in college graduates!!

very true!! it conflicts with my low self esteem but logically speaking it's something i have to admit despite my personal qualms -- it's also I mention it in my vid about side hustles -- success in anything online is largely in part to how you look to get people to click on the video
