Honestly Darkness' main flaw as a party member most of the time is just that she usually can't hit anything, because we've seen the damage can bring when she does hit. She's literally the Paladin that will ALWAYS use Great Weapon Master, despite her rolls usually being terrible.
Her being Horny doesn't usually cause that many problems.
Usually, but there has been 2 noted times in the source material where the gang had to actively deal with her horny problem. Ironically it wasnt due her being a masochist..... umm it was for her attempts to rape Kazuma on both occasions. Dont worry, she had no clue what she was doing so it went nowhere. Now in Darkness' defense, Kazuma had a hand in causing or not dissuading them.
I actually based one of my characters off of Darkness for a Meme Campaign.
He's Determined, loyal, and genuinely cares about the advancement of Fantasy Science.
However, he is the horniest Artificer you will ever meet and cares a *bit* too much about the _design_ of his machines.
He also made quite a "friendship" with one of the NPC Warforged, which _apparently_ was meant to be a quest giver and _not_ a party member. (Sorry, DM.)

I've said it before on a Mother's Basement video and I'll repeat it here, of the main trio, Darkness is the one who could easily become/pass for normal, she just needs a brat tamer dom to show her when it is and isn't appropriate to receive punishment.

I think that having Horny as basically neutral works a lot. Mostly because it's not hurting others or helping them but helping yourself? Which is pretty neutral.

Darkness, what all tanks wish they could be. Minus the masochism and inability to hit the broad side of a barn, from the inside. But she's an amazing character that is perfect for Kazuma's party. She fits well with the misfit party and is arguably best girl in terms of story, before we were introduced to Megumin's family and stuff. Now it's a tie with both girls having the best stories.

darkness is great comedy in konosuba, from chaotic horny to lawfull horny. also we all want to be the lord of the rings in our own D&D campaigns but we end up like... well... the konosuba gang, prove me wrong. i can't wait to see what you have planned stuart and also when you are going to be on lit devs stream? keep up the work and have fun in your D&D campaigns.

I still can't get over the fact that the English voice actress for Darkness is Cristina Vee. Darkness is one of my favourite characters that she has portrayed, along with Shantae and Velvet Crowe from Tales of Berseria. Although, I almost died laughing when I learned Cristina Vee also voices the English version of Yamai Ren from Komi Can't Communicate. I guess she can't escape voicing the horny characters.
She is also Homura Akemi.

One of her earlier roles was Nu-13 from Blazblue... that makes it all too believable she can be Darkness. Way too much.. especially considering who the voice for the headless knight is
@@firepuppies4086 I forgot about that. She was Noel Vermillion as well if I recall. I also just remembered Sailor Moon Crystal, and the Viz dub of OG Sailor Moon. She played Rei Hino, Sailor Mars. Cristina Vee has voiced a lot of characters I like.

Tbh I would love to make a secondary alignment chart of just weird alignments. Hell if Darkness is Chaotic Horny, who is the most Lawful chaste character in anime? How about horny good?
As for other weird axies, in one campaign we're playing right now my Cleric rates everyone on an Indoor Outdoor scale. As a tempest cleric he finds the idea of religion being cloistered away in temples baffling and is constantly trying to convince people that the outdoors are better, as well as literally destroying property (usually the bad guys) to make places outdoors. We were even handed an old monestary as a base if we cleared it out and my character's first step when we arrived in the boss room (that was also the chapel) was to blow the roof off the place. Everybody was like "Oh good idea this brings in a bunch of light to weaken the shadow monster", but Father Wielos was like "Shadow monster? I just thought it was too stuffy in here."

I would personally place starting position closer to chaotic neutral as the source of her inability to hit targets stems from her desire to take punishment. The only things her sword can hit are things that hurt her when hit. In every other instance, her subconscious masochism redirects her incredible strength. Basically, she's constantly and subconsciously nerfing herself to fulfill her kink.
The intro killed me with laughter the second you started. I started. Laughing. 😂😂😂😂
A neutral character that uses her kinks to help others is pretty noble.
I love Darkness, and this episode made my day. For another character to look at, please consider Lina Inverse from Slayers, I'm pretty sure she was one of the characters on your original alignment wheel.
I know no one really knows about this show, but I'd love to see an alignment video for Hexadecimal from Reboot (not the guardian code). She is absolutely chaotic evil in the best way but her massive character development at the end of the series swings her in a completely opposite direction. She's one of my favourite villains in general and I'd love to see more people acknowledge her or the series in general.

I like to know about extra alignments.
I was introduced to the good neighbor alignment chart via a story about a D&D campaign where the BBEG was basically Mr. Rogers so he convinced a party to be his generals. It was messed up at first but they did make a better world.
Darkness is a lot of fun and a genuinely good character. She reminds me of a comically exaggerated version of Seelah from Pathfinder: A paladin who strives to save the innocent and destroy evil, but also has no problem living life to the fullest, which includes being super emotional and loving your friends. :)

Lalatina Darkness is my fav in Konosuba, though considering the time when you made this video Season 3 features many moments that Darkness does develop her character, at least through her interactions with Kazuma both in the Princess Iris Arc and even in her own Darkness Arc, I think Lalatina Darkness as well as Kazuma may need a video to cover the season 3 content of Konosuba.
I've always viewed Darkness' inability to hit anything as a personal choice/game mechanic ala Great Weapon Master. She had no problem hitting the cabbage/lettuce at first (you see one of two of them cut in half) before she realises missing will lead to embarassment, and she hits vanir's dolls with no issue after she finds out they dont actually prove to be that much of an issue, as in they dont actually do that much damage to her (which is clearly one of her main motivations for adventuring).
The Great Weapon Master feat in D&D actually works well for Darkness' personality and as we see from when he basically one shots Vanir she can do a lot of damage, this is exactly how GWM works (prior to the upcoming 1D&D changes), you take a hit to your to hit rolls (accuracy) in exchange for higher damage output, at lower levels it's very possible for the GWM to hit penalty to cause your attacks to miss which can lead to an embarrassing situation, which is totally her goal.
7:10 This whole situation could have been avoided if Kazuma just told his party he was hiring a succubus for some... Late night fun.

I would love to see you take a look into some characters from the 2018 She-Ra show! Specifically Catra, Glimmer, Shadow Weaver and Hordak have arcs that would make for interesting alignment journeys!
Surprisingly, Rance is pretty honorable for a depraved eroge character. At least at first he has a code, no lolis and no (happily) married women.
Granted, this code gets trashed as the series goes on and so far the only tenant he once held that hasn’t been broken is “no incest”.
Still, I never thought you’d do another video in the same vein as your Redo of Healer one, hentai characters are interesting for alignments since it’s applying morality to a genre that usually spurns it.

I’d actually agree with Lawful Horny. The bath scene with Kazuma is the clincher. She wants to go along with things and get ordered around and degraded, but she isn’t sure that Kazuma is in his right mind. And for as much as she fantasizes about being violated, she still respects Kazuma’s consent and doesn’t want to violate that.
If we're talking examples for talking about the Horny alignments, then you've got Sanji from One Piece and Naotsugu from Log Horizon for an example of Lawful Horny
Naotsugu is horny, but it doesn't really define his character the way it does Darkness. He mostly uses it as a way to wind up Akatsuki for their Boke and Tsukkomi routine that they've got going. He's also actually pretty faithful to his gf Marielle and is pretty much turned off by the one person that's constantly hitting on him, that being Tetra.
EDIT: That said, I would honestly not mind an alignment for Shiroe, Naotsugu and Akatsuki from Log Horizon. Just don't think too many people are familiar with the source material.

I know it's illegal to like anything from Roosterteeth right now, but doing Alignment videos for characters from Red Vs Blue would be cool. Church or Tucker could be good choices, or the Freelancers like Wash or Carolina. A great one to do would be the Director, if only he had more Screen time. A lot of his character is shown through background context.

I wonder if the anime will do like Kämpfer did, and have the main guy (Kazuma in this case) pick a different girl in the end than he did in the source material (in Kämpfer, source material he ends up with nerdy/shy girl while in the anime he ends up with student council President).

Maybe you could do videos on the other Kadokawa isekai anime, such as Youjo Senki, Re Zero, or Overlord.
Given he's pretty much the only character that has a believable consistent storyarch throughout the films; you should do Manfred (Manny) from the iceage films.

Actually Id say Chaotic Horny leaning Horny Neutral for Issei. Issei has a set of morals that has actually countered his usually horny behavior. First and foremost is how he used to view Asia, he may have occasionally been turned on at times but he wouldnt really entertain the idea until she made it clear she saw him that way. And what definitely tips the scales is that for as horny as he is, the man is big on consent really. Besides a few oops situation, I dont recall him doing a horny action that involved touching someone without prior consent being given. Heck, how many times does his harem act horny and he is just mentally freaks out (not in a bad way but any sexual action that was not verbally consented to tends to shock him, I know he is dense but props for making sure all parties involved agree to it).
