Welcome back Angela!
Ms. Angela, I am laying here, propped by pillows with my leg elevated as I broke my ankle/foot on three different bones. Makes it impossible to go down all the stairs to our finished basement where my whole sewing/quilting studio is to sew. My hubby just bought me the new Babylock Destiny II sewing machine and a gorgeous new Koala cabinet to hold it and I haven't even seen the cabinet but in pictures. Wah!! I yearn to start piecing. I have never had a sewing studio before and I am so excited. I have been watching many of your "Midnight Tutorials" and it makes me miss piecing even more. Even putting my machine on top of our dining room table is not an option as I can't keep my other leg elevated. Oct. 10th will be my first day without a cast, God willing. But, I wanted to thank you for being here on RUclips and keeping me so entertained and getting ideas for quilts for my three sisters and their children and their children's children!! Lots of work and play to look forward to!! You are a blessing, me dear!!

I would love to see how you're wrestling that huge quilt through your home machine! When I get a large top finished, I always think, "There is NO WAY I'm going to home quilt this... it just won't work." You make it look too easy!

Quilting is your therapy, quilting is my sanity. I am a carer for my husband and my 42 year old son, so when I quilt I can loose myself in my wonderful hobby. Thank you Angela , I love the way you explain and teach us how to do it.

Yay! All of your rabid quilting fans have been eagerly awaiting your return. That was a lovely palette and a really pretty quilt overall. I like how you had one pattern for quilting the star blocks and another method for the chain blocks. They seemed to set each other off really well.

I have to say that Angela coming back online with Midnight Quilt Shows (on my birthday) almost makes up for the other terrible things that happened on that day (Most notably Brexit but there were others). The red and purple quilt I have just completed is based on an earlier show in the series. Not sure about the high calorie content (as I am trying to lose weight) or the red wine consumption (as it is Lent) but I love her style and have learnt some useful tips from her! As well as doing a couple of her classes.
Well, Happy Birthday to you! In honor of your special day, I will eat the snack and drink the wine that you aren't, lol
It is nice to have you back. Do you think the sound of a sewing machine travels very far? My sewing room is directly under a bedroom. I would love to sew at night.
Eek!! It would depend on the machine....I think my kids are used to the sound of it so it doesn't wake them up. At least as far as I know, lol
This is my very first Midnight Quilt show and I absolutely loved it! You are so engaging and fun! And - to top of your amazing skills, you have just inspired me to make this quilt out of a huge pile of fat quarters I have been saving (for about 4 years!) xxxx

Just got the pattern and I am going to adapt it to use jelly rolls and charm packs. This will make the overall block size a bit smaller but then I will be able to use my precut strips.
