3D2N Batam Vlog. All The food And Fun In Our Batam Trip.

We spent the Labour Day long weekend in Batam.
00:00 📍favehotel Nagoya. Batam.
Relatively new and clean hotel and plenty of food options just below the hotel. Hairdryer available upon request. There was traffic noise at night but it didn’t last all night and we all had 2 nights of good sleep.
Day 1
00:40 📍Barelang Seafood Restaurant.
There is an air-conditioned studio at the entrance with many pretty corners for photo taking, like a pink room with a floral wall and a café themed corner.
Food was ok. The salted egg crab was served with pieces of salted egg white and though oily was tasty and memorable.
04:37 📍Yomie’s Rice x Yogurt Batam.
Thank you 500 for suggesting that we go. I was just expecting a cafe but games were also available.
05:07 We played the card game, Saboteurs. Totally enjoyable!
09:41 Day 2
09:50 📍Lengkuas
We started the day with breakfast at Lengkuas fish soup. Tasty and rich soup with pieces of melt-in-mouth yam. Must try!
Then we made our way to Grand Batam Mall.
10:26 📍Dear Butter (Grand Batam Mall)
10:55 📍KKV (Grand Batam Mall)
We went Grand Batam Mall and visited KKV. A lot of things to see, from food to toys to clothing. Adik treated us to HATA drinks.
11:25 📍Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Monastery.
Place was suggested by ChatGPT. Clean and elegant. There is a hall where one can draw lots, 求签。We got the lot 吕蒙正守困,5妈妈说是好签。
原来 “天有不测风云，人有旦夕祸福“ 也来自吕蒙正的《破窑赋》。
12:30 📍Alio Beach Cafe & Bar
Great ambience. We reached around 4pm WIB. We ordered drinks and finger food which we concluded to be average only.
13:28 📍Hongti Seafood
We went Hongti Seafood for our dinner. We took the air-conditioned table on the second level. Their food did not disappoint.
14:00 Sate Jhony
Plenty of food below favehotel and we ordered our supper from Sate Jhony. There were 2 sauces available to choose from and Mr 0 chose the peanut sauce.
14:28 Day 3 📍Magna Coffee
Latte from Magna Coffee which is just below favehotel and breakfast from the surrounding kopitiam, the bakmie taste stood out.
16:43 📍One Batam Mall
Our final stop before we take the ferry back to SG. We had lunch at One Food Street in the mall. The food court has many stalls to choose from and we ordered dim sum, fried rice and sate goreng.
