I like seeing variety in weapon mods, it makes sense that no weapon would be ubiquitous outside of fully organized militarized factions that have lots of resources
standardization actually isnt all that hard for a small and or asymmetrical force.
the one mod everybody needs is a mod that gives every settler/faction the same armor and weapon all at once, imagine if you could make loadout groups and pick how many settlers you want to wear the gear all at once. you can have a soldier loadout, farmer, mechanic, special forces, etc. I imagine like a menu with a list of your LO's and it gives you your total number of settlers in the settlement and lets you pick how many you want in each LO. you could actually make a military rank system in a settlement without all the tedious work.
That sounds amazing. I'd be able to fix settlers wearing rags with one click. Maybe like a scaled down Creation Kit for the in-game player.
there was once a mod for that on nexus, called Equip Settlers. It has been removed sadly. Other similar mods also exist on nexus, which kinda work similar. I'd check them out

Ian's range testing with it genuinely shocked me with how reliable it was, obviously its still not a great gun but its a gun that will run when you need it to nonetheless
This seems to be more of a compilation of different gun mods rather than its own unique mod. I definitely know that the Institute pistol is a separate mod
These weapons maybe aren´t up to the standard which weapon mods have achieved. However most of these high quality mods are purely modern firearms so a semi lore friendly firearm pack is super nice! It just adds variety that doesn´t feel out of place in a lightly modded Fallout.

The "Pipe Submachinegun" is really cool, it looks like it could exist in real life.
I wish it was a vanilla weapon, but the pipe guns look really... different

Junkland FireArms is a mod I had for two years and it never left my load order, love the combinations you can do with the military combat rifle. I can turn that thing into a full auto gauss rifle and it is beast! Plus the pipe weapon add-ons are amazing.

I tried the Lurker pistol and it's actually cool for a pipe-like gun. Milti caliber, sights and suppress able. Reminds me of a Welrod or something.

Since you like the idea of bringing Halo weapons into Fallout 4, have you ever looked at Mikemoore's laser cannon? It's rather similar to the Spartan Laser, or a lascannon from the Warhammer 40k universe, a shoulder mounted heavy anti-tank laser weapon. Fallout just needs more variety in its laser weapons so more heavy lasers is interesting to see at all.

Wish I knew of this before Syringe Rifle Overhaul as it would have varied the pipe parts (I imagine).
Hey Dak, could you ask Futoshisan if you can port over the Rifle Grenade Launcher, Underbarrel Shotgun, and .50 Cal Receiver Conversion features and mechanics over to your Combat Rifle Overhaul Mod? I would love to download that mod, but I'm concerned it may conflict with your mod.

what kind of environment mods do you use Dak?
I wish I had known this pack had been updated to include all those other weapons, I originally avoided it because I thought it was just the pipe weapons and combat rifle accessories, I actually have the Daewoo, Armalite, and Institute PDW all on their own in my current load order already, may as well just grab the full pack.
shame the calico isnt standalone and the last time I tried to use the mod the calico model was broken and all exploded
A wood furniture AR-18 is a great Fallout Weapon, as it is an economical stamp sheet metal design with minimal petroleum products.
You can get billets and forged receivers like on an ar-15 without petrol its just significantly harder, nuclear can run the machines needed.
I remember this mod was really trash for a lot of leveled lists on NPCs. Hope it's been updated since.
not from what i have seen no, it hasnt been updated since the last time I used it in late 2018. Futoshians daewoo k2 mod would make an awesome basis for a usas 12 spin off.

Thanks to [post-apocalyptic handmade weapons pipe weapon replacer] i dont have to look at vanilla pipe weapons anymore but my super mutants are still spawned with weapons they can shoot

In GTA SA and Vice City actually used as the wall textures on Ammunation, but... Never saw a videogame where it were functional

@@gyneve yeah, the guy, who runs MCM and a few other major dependencies for modding in Fallout 4, decided to unlisted his mods. Mostly because of person beliefs related to the current conflict of Russia vs Ukraine. So you have to find the direct link instead. However for the time being MCM will probably and most likely no longer have support.

Hey Dak I got another idea for a mod considering you've made guns or late i had a Heavy melee weapon idea. Okay imagine a jackhammer as a automated melee weapon with big air compressor backpack some elemental mods and different heads an maybe some other stuff i see it working alot like the ripper but much heavier and hitting much harder. I stress heavy cause these things are pretty heavy so it your gonna hold one like a weapon i'd assume it would me like the minigun/harpoon gun while the hammer bit bores a hole though whatevers in front of you.
it can be found around construction sites or places where they would do mining road work. This is a full sized jack hammer not the drill version

Now THIS is something that should get people back into FO4. I would love to see a replacer version of this mod that just does away with the vanilla in game pipe guns... Or, even just a replacer with all of the "junk" weapons from this mod. I was so very disappointed with the vanilla pipe weapons when I first saw them, but this would take care of that completely.

Its sad nobody put interest to improve this mod. Particularly the AR-18 and its oversea variant.
its a bit more obscure than other AR models that might be why. the ar-18s biggest impact was in the spin offs it inspired like the g36. its main advantage over the ar-15 system was compactness and price point, no buffer tube means you can have a properly folding stock, thats more huge than you would think.
Fuck yes I love this mod downloaded it yesterday had to come back and say hell yea brother lol I think I heard of this and found junkmaster witch crashes my game if I use any of the mods I normal do with it great mod just does way to much and sadly 90% of the things I don't care about but everything I do isn't separate (on xbone at least too broke to spend $1000 on a graphic card or if have a pc that's half the price of my car)

Give me the calico m950 with all attachments and a hundred round mag in the game. I own one in real life. I love that thing. Not such a fan of the calico rifle.

Tried this and removed it. They're just a bit too janky and cheap looking (texture wise).
