TheDailyWoo adam your adventures are awesome o have been watching a long time keep it up stay safe God bless
That is the absolute best collection of Disney Parks merchandise ever gathered together that I have seen. Thanks for documenting it, before it will be scattered across the world!
I remember alot of these rides from going to Disneyland as a child. I even remember the old parking lot and those parking signs with the characters brought back such strong memories. I miss the people mover and the skyway was Awesome. Especially going through the matterhorn.
That's an amazing collection! Incredible. The sea monster, mermaid! Rocket Rods! All definitely bring back memories!
It seemed to never end and was set up very well . Hard to believe one guy collected and bought all that
Rumors are John Stamos aka "uncle Jesse" has a collection like this too. Apparently, he has a dumbo ride seat and the D from the original Disneyland sign. He was at the exibit ( I saw pictures). The guy is obsessed with Disney, but nothing wrong with that.
Dara Ann D purchased by David Copperfield a mere 86,000.
I can relate to him by being obsessed with Disneyland but I can’t relate by John Stamos having a lot of stuff from the happiest place on Earth
IDK, one could argue that Disney opened a lot of doors for him by casting him on Full House over 30 years ago
You can find part of his collection on architecture digest RUclips channel
Yes, indeed absolutely incredible. I enjoyed the star tours travel posters! Very awesome
Completely overwhelming being in there . Loved it
TheDailyWoo I can imagine, I know that feeling :)
I can remember walking past those as I exited the ride when I was a kid
Wonderful that all these items have been preserved, although that witch caused me many a nightmare.
I think a lot of people share that feeling
Wow that was insane! Must have been a crazy experience. I was geeking over the serpent, the WDW Mr. Toad stuff as well as the Alien Encounter sign! Thanks for sharing!
Dude it was so awesome . I was there for hours
TheDailyWoo I can imagine! That place looked so sick!
Ben Laurence If I had a time machine, I would go back to the early 90s, kick down Michael Eisner’s office door, and scream “DON’T REPLACE THE PEOPLEMOVER WITH ROCKET RODS!”
Disneyland history and old rides you can check out? YES PLEASE! Can't wait to watch the whole thing!
That was certainly an amazing piece of Disney history. It’s amazing just one guy owned all of that.
That way I was thinking . Dedication
TheDailyWoo Definitely and lots of it
Great Job Adam... Wow , Such great stuff. A little historic as far as a collection goes.
This is amazing!!! I had read an article of this exhibit yesterday, but it only had one picture. It did not do it justice. It's incredible to see how much Disney has changed over the years with this collection. Thank you for sharing!!!
I noticed a few things online about it but wanted to check it out myself
TheDailyWoo I'm glad you did, thank you
I love the silliness and nostalgia you bring to these videos.
Cool! Think of all the people from all over the WORLD that sat in those rides!
I think about that all the time . So many happy memories with people all over the world
That’s amazing. I wish I lived close enough to visit.
It really was . I enjoyed it a lot
That's awesome that people have an opportunity to see these items before they're sold off, I think it's cool of the owner to have this display on exhibit for the public to see.
So amazing to think that this is just 1 person's collection! Wonder what John Stamos will get! So awesome to see! Thank you for sharing!
Was wondering if I'd bump into Stamos there but I didn't
That has got to be the neatest display I have ever seen!
Rocket Rods! Yes please!!!! I actually loved the ride. I thought it was fun!
Never got to ride it but looked interesting . Best part I'm sure was being able to move along people mover track again
TheDailyWoo yeah, I have actually never been on the Peoplemover ride in Anaheim. It was already closed by the time went. But it was still fun to learn the history. The Rocket Rods were actually a pretty fun ride. Thanks for the vlog Adam!
rocket rods were a fun ride, but at what cost? Seemingly, we lost peoplemover for every. Perhaps they should of made a rocket rods type ride somewhere within the park, but then again hind sight is always 50/50
fullermrff agreed. I liked the rocket rods, but I would LOVE to ride the original Peoplemover.
This is a world i dont want to live in
My father used to work for Global Van Lines which was right there in Anaheim next to the park in the late 70's. We still have a toy model of the Disney truck that he got back then.
Great seeing you again yesterday Adam! Thanks for also taking a photo with me in the Mr. Toad vehicle! Great job as always documenting this amazing event!
Hard to wrap my head around all that stuff
Disney would be proud. Great memorabilia. I live vicariously through you. Thanks ATW
Ah, so many of my childhood memories. Great vlog. Thank you for sharing it with us Adam.
No problem sandy
My brother and I used to watch Swiss Family Robinson all the time as kids :) awww great memories
My uncle was an electrical engineer who helped design the park. Because of his position, he was able to take us through the park and behind the scenes. We went opening week. I inherited my dad’s 3 lens 8mm Paillard Bolex movie camera and all of our home movies including our 1955 and 1963 trips to Disneyland. But the biggest treat from 1955, was getting to meet Walt Disney. Growing up in the 50’s was something I wouldn’t trade for anything.
You still got the ticket stub from that first day/week? Those are pretty rare and go for a lot. - That is pretty cool, though. If it isn't too personal I am sure lots would love to see those videos & pics digitized and archived here on YT!
I went here today it was super awesome I’m so glad he shared his collection with no charge !
Oh...my...goodness!!! This guys collection is AMAZING!! I loved seeing all of this! Thank you so much, Adam, for sharing! I can't even begin to say what was my favorite. There were so many awesome relics. I wish some of the old attractions would come back. Like the Peoplemover and the Sky Way. Man the memories. :)
Oh, man! I wanted to go to this exhibit. To see the historic stuff of Disneyland & Walt Disney World
Wow Just WOW! You outdid yourself once again Adam! Amazing Job Thanks for bringing us along!!!
Thanks for sharing that awesome exhibit/auction Adam! I realized that I’ve actually been in very close proximity to many of the WDW items many times over the years! They brought back some fond memories! I have a few unusual Disney collectibles of my own, but nothing like a ride vehicle! Wow! Pretty cool! Thank you!🤘🏼👍🏼
I remember the people mover! I got on it maybe a hundred times! ( in two weeks) OMG,! I had a set of erasers just like those! Wow! Adam! Your video is making me cry! So many memories! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
What an incredible Exhibition/Auction! This is definitely Disney Heaven 😍😍
Having a Disney ride in your house would make you the coolest person on the block especially the Peter pan pirate ship great vlog
Looked like a really cool place. Glad you got to go and vlogged and shared the video
Adam my friend I owe you a Mountain Dew or something next time I see you - I was literally *JUST* reading about this on Reddit and lamenting the fact that I live in the UK and am not going to be in LA in time to see this before it goes away on August 26th!! Thank you SO MUCH for vlogging this fantastic pop-up!!!!!!!
No problem . Glad I was able to go check it out
5:32 The Small World parade dolls were used in The Main Street Electrical Parade. There was a segment devoted to It's A Small World back in the late 70s. They can be seen in the vintage Super-8 souvenir home movie footage of that parade from 1978.
Very cool ! Thanks for the info
This was incredible to see all the relics from Disneyland. What a collection!
Fan-freaking-tastic job Adam! Watching that felt like diving into a swimming pool of cool, refreshing, delicious history!
The posters were awesome. I'm gonna look on the internet for some prints to possibly give to my dad for Christmas
What an amazing collection, there are just so many cool things, thanks Adam for your fantastic coverage of this exhibit!
What an awesome collection of stuff . It has to be so hard to see it go, or even to have people go through it all. I know even with my meager collections it has been hard to allow people to handle and paw through them. Seeing the items go out the door and wondering if they will be loved and cared for may seem silly, but collections tend to take on a life of their own after so many years. Can't even imagine a collection as extensive as this one. Mind boggling!
I'm so glad this popped up in my feed today! I had no clue this was coming to my stomping grounds. I just got back from the exhibit after watching your tour of it. Absolutely enchanting. I only wish I had the wall space (and cash) to bid on one of those stretching room paintings.
Thanks for the tour Adam.
I gotta stop by sometime. Though I think I'd die of excitement as soon as I walked in.
What an amazing display of nostalgia!
The Gondola brought back memories of my one and only trip to Disneyland in 1982. Took the Monorail into the park from the Disneyland hotel. It cost us 20 bucks for the day all rides included.
THAT IS ONE COOL EXHIBIT!!!!
I loved this, worthy of two vlogs! Lots of memories!!!!
Thanks for the look back in time.
Powerful nostalgia vibes throughout. Rock on
It was worth it, what an awesome huge collection.
my fav was the melted Snow White hahahha
So cool. When I heard about this exhibit/sale, I was hoping you’d be able to document it! 🤩 I can’t believe this was all in one mans collection. Thanks for sharing!
It is amazing ! So much stress from its mind blowing
TheDailyWoo They did a really great job of setting everything up. It’s hard to imagine this being in one mans home. I’m curious if he had everything displayed similarly, if it was in storage, or if it was a hoarder situation. Super neat nonetheless. If you could have purchased any one thing from the collection- space, money, and practicality aside...what would you have chosen?
Wow old relics make me so happily nostalgic and sad at the same time. I grew up in San Francisco, which used to have “Playland at the Beach” amusement park. I went there often as a kid ,then it changed hands and got very run down. And one day I saw on the news where it was finally closed and dismantled. I was upset too because had I’d known about the final dismantling I could have potentially been there and maybe gotten some of the items from the park. Luckily a museum has been put up with old relics from the park. And there are videos documenting it. There’s videos about Playland and about Sutro Baths also has been made by an enthusiast too. It’s really cool that you went there and captured those items then. Jeeze, wouldn’t it be a trip to have a People Mover or Dumbo in your living room?
This place is incredible
Oh man! I'd love to own that Peter Pan's flight Pirate ship...I love that movie. I can only imagine how much Justin Scarred would enjoy this pop up exhibit and how he'd love to have one of the items. If only the smithsonian museum would buy the collection.
Hi Aden I was in Disney land 2 years ago. Thanks for showing.
Thank you so much for this 💖 I had the worst today and this tour really made me smile. The legacy of this collection is incredible. You did an incredible job at being respectful while doing it justice. I really loved this vlog.
I wish they never got rid of the atom ride. Thank you Adam
Looks pretty cool
That's a lot of goodness !! Adam , you have the perfect voice to be a sports caster . I could hear you at a baseball game . You do have a pretty awesome life . Thanks for sharing Adam !!
Thank you !
WOW. what an awesome collection!
Incredible Collection! I was able to visit a few days ago myself.
Thanks for the video! I get the catalog from Van Eaton and bid in every auction. Awesome to finally see one of there auction exhibits before the bidding starts.
And that Sea Serpent is finally going up for auction. I saw him last year in Van Eaton's booth at the D23 Expo.
I would LOVE to see this in person. Disney should make a museum on property for stuff like this. Where is Jay and/or Justin? This is right up their alley.
Thanks Adam, another fine vlog bringing back memories.
That collection was amazing! I cannot believe one person owned all that memoribilia. I also remember some of that.
Most impressive!
When all that sells that individual is going to be extremely wealthy or even more wealthy!
Loving the haunted mansion pic at the end man!!
This is one of your best ones! And I should know, I am a documented scare actor on your Howl-O-Scream Sea World 2022 Opening Night video! You are documenting the great Americana our theme park history and legacies. Go forth and video, Adam! Woo!
Hi This is a cool pop up exhibit. I sure miss the classic Disneyland rides. Great 👍🏻 vlog😺
Amazing Adam, as always.
I have an old super8 video of me and my family riding in one of those sky buckets, if only I had the resources to purchase.
Thanks for a great video!!
Wow. Such an amazing collection. The owner should have created a little museum.

Only if those ride vehicles could talk. What a great tale they would tell!

Thank you so much for this. I've been dying to go but I don't think I'll make it during my August trip to LA due to set plans. But now I'm going through my calendar trying to find time to go just for this! I literally had tears in my eyes seeing this amazing collection that seems straight out of my childhood. Haha. Thanks Adam!
This collection is incredible, the ride vehicles are fascinating to see up close!
Amazing collection. Lots of history! Thanks Adam!
