Hello all those reading the comment section . Did you see yesterday's video ? Notifications have been wacky this week ruclips.net/video/c2TO5yJ7L30/видео.html
When you pointed down at the water there looks to be something swimming in the ocean some real aquatic sea creatures indeed :)
It popped up on my feed but I'm not seeing all of Justin Scarred's stuff for some reason.
They might have done it on porpoise...heh
TheDailyWoo I saw it. Clever how they marketed an empty plastic box, excuse me . . A box full of "Zero". Keep smiling. : )
Thanks for letting me come along for the adventure ,it was fun. Remember that Calgary is more than colourful chairs at the airport.
That's OLD LOS ANGELES disappearing...
How sad to see such a nostalgic place go.
It's always sad to see these arcades go.
Such a fun place
RhettyforFun I wanna open one here in western Kentucky.
It is very sad. Now it seems like only the big mega chain arcades are surviving.
There is still a good one at the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk.
We have a place called “retrocade” it’s an all you can play ($15) arcade. Seems like when places like this close down other places pop up.
Adam loves so much, I love how he shows his interest in almost anything. Gives so much more than alot of other RUclipsrs. My opinion.
I appreciate the kind words
The Dino egg machine used to be the highlight of every trip to Wal-Mart/K-Mart when I was a kid.
Boy does this bring back so many memories. Walking home from school to the nearest store with a roll of quarters to play in the arcade. Or even going to Showbiz for games and pizza. Awww, the good old days. Thanks for sharing!!!
I remember when I was little my dad will take me to the arcade games and after that we went to that famous pizza place but now they took that down I miss that place 💔
OMG!!! I used work as a parking cashier in the 90’s at this pier! The arcade was my lunchtime hangout! I have to drop by! Awesome job Adam!!!! Thanks for the heads up! 👍 You made my day!!!
Oh dang that's awesome . Such a cool place
Remember that long receipt that would print out when you paid for parking?? The one with the random coupons... T's toe rings and such...LOL!!
YES!!!! As a parking cashier, people would give me their ticket with all those coupons. No one wanted them. We would have stacks of them in our cashier booths. I kept a handful for memories!
Wild Wild Wes oh man!!! Do you still have them!? Wish I would have kept one too, I remember randomly finding them in my car when cleaning it out every once and a while... good memories!
COOL!!! Its in storage in one of many boxes. Have you been there recently? Lots changed since then. Whole different feel.
Thank you sooo ooh much for going here!!...this arcade was me and my siblings playground in the late 60's...and in the 70's as an adult too..so sad they are closing it next year..so many wonderful memories..
i was there the other day....great place...great city..
Damn I miss 80's arcades. I am so sad that most of them are closing now. My childhood. :(
LET US REVIVE IT FOR OUR CHILDREN..... muahahaha
Why do they always shut down the most unique places? Such a shame. Thanks for sharing. : )
Progress . Gotta accept it I suppose
the daily woo i’ve been watching since your first video. Can you go check out some revolutionary war stuff it will be a interesting video. Thanks 😀 God bless you and your videos
TheDailyWoo Very true.. : )
Elias S I could get into some content about that. Good call. : )
Urban renewal, unfortunately.
Another nostalgic video! Thanks adam!!!
I never knew I needed Woo singing Tenacious D until now..
80s arcades are my happy place!
This is actually 60s onward, I went as far back as 1969!
Yea, so upsetting this one had to gOo 😭
This place is amazing, I hope I get to go there before it closes. In the 90's I worked at a similar place and whilst I was there I repaired most of the machines. They even had the same puppet machine, it was also slightly creepy. Thanks Adam for going there!
OMG! I use to go to Redondo Beach all the time as a kid. Fun Factory was a staple of my childhood. Certain songs (Thin Lizzy's "Boys Are Back In Town"; Gerry Rafferty's "Baker's Street") will ALWAYS remind of the quarters I squandered and the stuffed crap I never quite won. I'm already deep into this comment, and I haven't even watched the video yet! Stuck at work until 9:30 tonight. But now I have something to be extra excited about when I get home! Thanks Adam!
Very Nostalgic place. So sad to see it closing.
I live right nearby and the problem with this place was the maintenance on the games was non-existent... it was sad because they had some great games but only one of the 2 players could play or it wasn't marked if it wasn't working so you would lose your money unless you complain .
and for Lucky and Wild, it was quite evident that the wheel needed to have some maintenance and it wouldn't hurt to calibrate the guns every once in a while.
yeah thats a poorly maintained arcade all around.... it sucks because I live like 10 min away from there...
It's mostly because the guy taking care of the place was a pedophile, but it sucks that they're getting rid of the whole arcade cause of him, I have so many memories there :/
BoOblexBaNaNaS damn that really does sucks I went there just a few times but loved going to the arcade can’t believe I didn’t see this before it closed
Adam, thanks for showing our arcade. I am 54 and I have been going there since I was a kid. I am not sure when it opened but I was there at least in the mid '70's. When I was a teen, my friends and I would go there after a movie or after seeing bands/dancing. "The Strand" was also a cruising place and the arcade was at the end of the strip where the turn-around spot was.
Breaks my heart to hear that it is closing. It's always about the money. I would sure like to hit that auction when they sell it. Great memories at that place.
Be sure to check out Tony's on the Pier. Great ambiance and lots of famous photos you would like.
Aw man, that place was extremely fun to visit way back, it was one of the only few arcades that had their games in their original cabinets. It'll definitely be missed.
I know this place and pier and Redondo Beach rocks, Thanks Adam.
I liked it there very cool vibe
I miss arcades. They were awesome.
Wow! Arcades are our life right now for my family. We love making arcade and claw machine videos so seeing you do a video on a topic we love is amazing!
That is awesome NolaDad08. YOU ROCK!
Thank you so much!
Awesome blast from the past...thanks Adam :)
Funny seeing that kid put the balls in at ski ball. I remember getting kicked out of game room at chuckie cheese for that
trashy parents for encouraging that though :(
Absolutely devastated this is closing...my husband and i had first date here 28 yrs ago...he grew up in redondo and will be sad as well...this is where he grew up. Every year we clebrate our anniversary at the pier. Very very sad. Ty adam for making this video!!
I got married in Redondo Beach. It's one of my very favorite places in the world.
The Dino and chicken egg machines...what a blast from the past.
Grew up throwing money into those very machines.... now I own 2 Flintstone ones!... They are awesome!
Haha, that’s exactly what it says! Love it!
Brought back so many memories! This was fun!! Thank you.
So sad to hear it close. I have so good many memories hanging out at that pier. Thanx for sharing!
You could show us a grocery store and it would be entertaining. Always the best commentary!
I remember being at Redondo Beach Pier with my Brownie troop for a Girl Scout event and as we were leaving a guy caught this massive (at least to a 7 year old) ray of some kind (maybe a manta?). He was getting ready to toss it back when we left. I miss that place so much.
Lots of cool arcade games hope you’re having an awesome day thanks for the upload and all the inspiration
Yea this one is amazing sad to see it go
Give Adam a roll of Quarters, and he will be playing all day!!
Man that brought a lot of memories. Nice video Adam. I used to have a Fun Factory arcade where I used to live. I really miss that too. Have a nice day.
One of my fav videos you have done so far keep up the good work :)
Such a shame to lose places like this.... and it seems to be busy and still a money maker. Thanks for the great video.... hope the camera can be fixed!
yes it is. sadly money plays a bigger roll today and all we get now are kiddy machines hehe. Time us 80's and 90's kids to revive REAL GAMING.. muahaha..
Yes theres always people weekdays a obviously more weekends ! I loved going there!
The nostalgia bites me heavily on this one. So sad this will close this year
Same . Serious nostalgia
This is TOTALLY my kind of place!
Heck yea
I remember playing that Ninja Turtles game at Pistol Pete’s Pizza in Texas in the late 1980’s, early 90’s.
Thank you so much for posting this, I had no idea it was closing. I have so many memories here as a child, and I want to make sure to take my son before it closes!
Great video! Love the old arcades! The one in Daytona beach is cool too ! Thanks Adam!
I grew up here, played games, go on the ride and eat fish and chips. This is so sad. It will always live in memory.
That's such a bummer that they are closing. Thanks for sharing Adam. ✌
What an awesome arcade! It’s a real pity they’re closing in the near future... hopefully, there will be some way to save it...
get a gofundme save it.
Very cool vlog Adam!!!!!
I love riding the Tilt-A-Whirl lol
Thanks for taking us along!!!
Duuuuude I have a lot of memories in this dusty old arcade! I just found out that it’s gone and came to check if someone had a video on it. Thanks for posting!
aww now it feels like everything good is closing down. :(
I love Arcade games.
Oops had the same with a lens and had to buy a new one.
Thanks for making this video. Brought back many good memories of going there with my grandpa. Would love to buy their Moonwalker.
I really miss the memories I had there with my ex such a very nostalgic and fun place, feels like yesterday I was there
Love these videos. You always find something interesting you didn't know before. Creepy puppets. Those scared me when I was younger.
Thanks for the interesting videos and hard work... from Sydney Australia 👍
Thank you so much for this video Adam! It brought back a ton of memories from my childhood. Especially one my Grandfather talked about a lot before he passed away last year. It was me when I was little always asking for a quarter from him to do The Chicken Machine. I loved seeing one in the video! Minus the bugs though. Lol! Also, I am sorry for your camera.
Glad it did . I figured that chicken machine has been around a long time that's awesome
My favorite vlog thus far! This place I hold near and dear to my heart, man. Been going there since I was a little kid. The place hasnt change almost at all since the 80's, always has that 80's nostalgia feel. Such an awesome place and so sad that that whole area of Redondo is going to be sold to developers. I encourage anyone within shouting distance to go visit this place, its truly a blast from the past and you have got to go get a prize from the prize area too... such random and wacky prizes! LOL!
Looks like a great place! Its a shame it's closing 😟Thanks for taking us there Adam!
Oh, to be there...! Great vlog, Adam! 💃
Awesome video thanks for sharing Adam
A friend of mine lives on his sailboat in one of the Redundant...Redondo Beach Marinas. His dad tells people: "My son has a condo in Redondo!"
That place looks awesome I can’t believe you have shown this vlog there no need to go there now I have been there already thanks to you have a safe trip on your next journey 👍🏽 so sad to see this place go
Cool vid as always...”It’s all part of the experience” Great Griswold reference!
I got married in Redondo Beach. It is truly one of my favorite places on Earth. This arcade and the one on the pier in Venice are priceless and must-visits on my California trips. When places like this disappear, they are gone forever.
You singing the WONDER WHEEL song made me laugh out loud......
Love the tiltowhirl! Thanks for the ride!
Wow This vlog took me back to the 80's. I think i'll play TMNT on NES while listening to the King of Pop later! Thank you for this vlog Adam!
Heck yes !
JerryJames I loved playing the Turtles. Also the X-men and WWF Wrestlefest games
But the best way to experience X-Men was by playing the beast (no pun intended as there is an X-Men member known as Beast) of a cabinet which used two screens and you can have up to 6 players playing
A place like that can't be built. It has to evolve with every new and wacky item brought in. Someone's labor of love.
This is my childhood. Every other weekend my family will come here and eat crab then go to the arcade. Lots of great memories. I remember going on the ride the first time and crying my eyes out when I was 5 lol. I’m 23 now. We still occasionally go but sad to see the arcade go.
Great to see you back! Just don't burn yourself out this time Adam.
Love arcades!! Sorry to hear that it will be closed next year!! It looks like a cool one!!
How sad .... I'm 60 and grew up on the East Coast and every summer went to Boardwalk Beach Arcades all the time with my friends...when these great places are gone we'll lose such a great part of history...
Thank You Adam the Woo for showing us all so many things and places ..
I haven't been Redondo beach pier in a long time, and i love old school arcade :)
I love redondo beach, and I love the arcade. It's so much fun to come and play at the beach, and enjoy the sunshine. You forgot one thing, they have claw machines to help you win tickets to ride the tilt a whirl.
Great vlog, wow so the arcade is closing. The pier has been going thru some renovation for sometime now. I never would have thought the arcade would go, such is progress. There use to be this really cool place that sold pearls, one would choose a oyster from the tank and if you got lucky a black pearl. Bruh thanks again for your Vlogs, I really enjoyed the McDonalds vlog. Keep up the great work and I have to go that arcade before it closes.
I was born and grew up in California so I always enjoy the videos of the beautiful Pacific!
Sad to see places like this closing. Thanks for the history and nostalgia trip Adam.
We have a place called “retrocade” by our house. It’s an all you can play ($15) arcade. Seems like when places like this close down other places pop up. It’s really all about the owner and location.
Ahoy! What a great place for some nautical nonsense! That pirate game was missing its arrrgggh! See what I did there? Lol! The sound effects you provided were priceless! Shame they are closing! The pier itself is beautiful with its concrete paintings! Thanks Big Guy for the adventure!
It's sad that any classic arcade has to go. I was bummed when the starcade at Disney closed
I know it was neat having all those all games in there
I remember some of those machines from the 90's such as the win a egg ones. This place seems very busy, I wonder why it's closing?
Picture Window on Whitetail Deer wow..hate to see it taken over..I still have my memories of the pier and the marina as a child..developers with money..👎
This place is wonderful, close to the sea, with these retro games, fantastic!
Great stuff man !
CooL content Adam! I’m happy to have taken my kids to The Fun Factory before it cLosed in 2019.
Nothing like vintage 80's and 90's Arcade games! Great Video!
Adam the woo you are probably the best youtuber ever keep up the great vids and stay classy.
I'm so glad that you document these things. They are part of Americana and once they are gone, all that may be left are your videos of the things that once was.
That place looks incredible! I used to love so many of those games.
these places are rare now, great vlog, thank you
That tenacious D reference cracked me up so hard.
Oh I miss the lucky egg machines. I remember dino and a chicken:)
Great vid as always
This place was my favorite when I was a kid growing up in the south bay/redondo/manhattan/hermosa beach. Hopefully you can do more videos in the south bay one day because theres a ton of history to be told. Love your videos.
I live in Long Beach, which is pretty close to Redondo Beach. I've been to the pier, but I can't believe I've never been to that arcade. Looks like the hubby and I are going to have to go on another Woo influenced trip (We went to the Paramount Ranch last week after your seeing your video).
My grandparents grew up in Redondo, and I spent many family vacations in this arcade with my cousins when we would get sick of the beach..... fond memories of that Tilt-A-Whirl......
I've lived in the South Bay my entire life. The Fun Factory was our family's to-go place for games and entertainment growing up. It's painful to see this iconic arcade go after the impact its made on so many generations of kids who were lucky to have grown up here.
I haven't see a Michael Jackson video game like that since I was a teen, ( Insert MJ voice " Heeeee Heeee, Woooo!" )
What an awesome attraction! Rough 📷 day.🙁 it helped to capture a great vid though! Thank you Adam! Nice work!🤘🏼👍🏼
Wow is right that place is so rad it should be preserved as a historical building for us and posterity. MJ game awesome and that TMNT game was my fav arcade game in the early 90s plus Simpsons Afterburner and T2. I go support all the arcades around Seattle.alot of people pack the arcades kids are still playing Pac Man and Donkey Kong just so cool. And No ducks were harmed in the filming of this vlog.lol
Spent my childhood on that pier and beach. The 60s was a great place to be alive
Still can’t believe it grew up going to this place ... lots of memories...
This was fun,a walk down memory lane,PAC Man my favorite arcade game from the 80’s ⚓️🏖🏄🏻♂️🌈
This was my favorite place to go to over the years. My dad used to take us here after we had crab legs at the Quality Seafood Inc. I made it a point to continue going there after he passed. It always reminded me of him and the fun we had.
