Snake knot paracord cross

- In this tutorial I demonstrate how to make a snake knot paracord cross.
The cross is made using 2 strands of paracord, one 2 feet long and one 2,5 feet long.
We line up three knots for the top part with our 2 feet long cord. We then line up 6 knots onto the longer, 2,5 feet long cord.
Finally we then bring the ends together, 2 strands to each side and make three knots using the strands sticking out.
Not hard at all :).
For those interested in adding the metal part into the loop, search for a "rope thimble":

This was perfect. It was easy. It also taught me how to actually make a snake knot.
Thank you, very easy to follow video. I have made several of the crosses with this style, only I don't use as much paracord as you say, I use allot less and all works out fine. This way, I am not cutting and wasting a lot of cord.
Thank you for the easy to follow instructions. WOW it looks amazing and so simple to do.
I love your tutorials. Your pacing is always easy to follow for me a total beginner.
I love your tutorials. I have made several of this style and my customers love it. I did make one change. Instead of a loop and a rope thimble I added 28 inches to the short cord to make it 52 inches long. I then folded it in half and clamped it 12 inches up from the ends. this gave me 28 inches for the cord to go around my neck. This way the crucifix isn't wanting to twist.
Finally something I can make & give my wife and daughter for Easter coming up soon ! Thank so much. You are # 1 !
I have seen others demonstrate this SNAKE knot but yours is the easiest. TY
thanks

Every tutorial I've seen shows the opening at the top facing toward you. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the opening facing left and right so it hangs straight?
