I have severe arthritis and swelling in my fingers and hands and doing activities like this with rope, twine and paracord has really helped me keep my joints moving. I’m gonna attempt to make 20 of these for Christmas for my family to go in stocking stuffers. Thanks for sharing the knowledge
Ive been looking for a tutorial for these for a while, and this is by far the best and simplest one Ive seen. I was recently commissioned to make one for my friend’s dad as a Christmas present, and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Youre an excellent teacher with paracord man
I just made this cross and it is beautiful. I think I am going to see if my young people at church will want to make this for a project that I am thinking of. Again, thank you so very much. You are a very good instructor.
I swear I'm so bad at following people doing these sorts of things. Most rush or don't dumb it down to a level a beginner can understand or keep up with. You make it understandable.
Thank you so much for this easy instruction. I work with the young people at my church and this may be something we can work on in class. I really do like this. God Bless You.
@Lane BT I think that it's a great Idea, I work with young people as well and I took one for demonstration and they are soo eager to learn... it is a fun project and I'm sure the young people at your church would love to learn how to do the cross... and @Happy Hippo, the same for you, I'm sure they would love to make a cross. Ya'll have an amazingly Blessed rest of Ya'lls week
Thank you, thank you. I braid hemp and my sister asked if I can make a cross and I couldn’t find anything online till I found this video. Thank you for sharing and making it look easy.
i reallylove this ,there are many additions that can be added to the cobra weave, like beads, glow in the dark cords' wel done Thank you. I know now what i am doing tomorrow
Something that I found useful for singing the ends: You know those tiny pocket knives you get as a "bonus gift" in larger items, or as souveniers? The ones that have a tiny blade, those tiny scissors, maybe a nail file, and if you're lucky, a plastic toothpick or tweezers. I head up the flattest surface, normally the back side of the file with a lighter, and use that to press the edges of the cord. Gives me a bit more control and I avoid accidentally singing or melting the surrounding strands.
Wow mine came out perfect and about an inch on each end was cut off. My girlfriend doesn’t even know what’s coming tomorrow this will bring her to tears. Thank you sir!
Question why do you call it a copper knot In the Navy we always called it square knot and what you are doing we called square knotting I have a much faster way of doing it watch my video called BONE CARVINGS AND MORE.
