"I’m not a master. I'm not bragging. But I know how to do it." - Mark No Mark, you couldn't be more wrong! You ARE a master! We watch you and learn from you BECAUSE you are the MASTER knot tying guru!!!!!
It took me a long time to get the Mathew Walker knot right, a lot of satisfaction followed. Your tutorials are very easy to follow and very much appreciated as well as your honesty, thanks for the inspiration.
Well done Mark. I remember watching your video, some 5 or 6 yrs ago, on how to dress a Matthew Walker. That helped me quite a bit when I started knotting.
Nice design, I've also found if you leave one end long you can easily girth hitch it to your other key rings and so no metal ring is needed and its secure and super easy to detach when needed, such as taking the house key off the car keys or anything else.
I like that use of a footrope knot for making the final loops of a double ended project. I usually just end up counting strands going each direction and tying a knot with a couple of dummy strands that I replace as I go back through the other direction.
