    I use my SRV to dispatch any NPCs at the base when doing power-up missions, they're easy to draw into the open and run down.

    Top Tip: Take an Apex Shuttle to these locations. If the place is already crawling with scavengers, they’ll swarm on your ship the minute you land, but if you arrive in an Apex Shuttle, they will ignore you completely (until they spot you on foot) which gives you a good head start.

      nah, get some dumbfire missiles and strafe the base before you land ;)

    Just to point out that if you have a spare power regulator with you you can always power up bases to loot them - you can then turn off the authorisation scans and scan a body with a high security clearance, turn off all the alarms/autorisation scans/guns and it's at your mercy. For "opting out of combat" I recommend using an SRV - it's completely OP at getting rid of scavengers etc (although it's not invulnerable), you can also use the SRV scanner to scan the buildings - quite often picks up something I've missed although finding it can be interesting - you can use the turret and drive round the building, looking at the relative position of energycells/medkits etc. to help you find the thing you missed.

    This is (at least today) an outdated information. You will FIRST have to look for the appropriate state (e.g burst, civil war etc.) that even give these types of missions. Otherwise "Support" is greyed out.

    Quick! Bring him X amount of some kinda semi rare item, then fulfill X amount of tacked on fetch quests, so you Can then farm for an absurd amount of crafting materials by finding a random location, in a random system, and THEN log in and out for hours (intended game design) farming said items.
    FUN!

    I can not seem to find these missions. Everywhere I go, support missions are greyed out. Does the system have to be in a particular state for me to receive reactivate and restore missions?

    • @happyspaceinvader508
      @happyspaceinvader508 2 года назад +2

      Yes - the system has to be in one of Civil Unrest, Natural Disaster or Infrastructure Failure. And, I think if the system security is “Anarchy”, then there’s far less chance anyone will turn up to challenge you.

      The description in the System Map will tell you which general type it is: Tourist, Military, Agriculture, Industrial, Extraction or High Tech. Each type has 4 or 5 different possible layouts.
      If you want additional help (that’s borderline cheating), you can use this tool to get all the maps at your fingertips: www.quizengine.co.uk/omg/

    Did anyone watch the current CG? You can get a DSS with twice the probe coverage, is that equal to 50% radius increase you can get with max engineering? The choice of words is a bit misleading I think.

    How are he fuck do you find these missions? I've been flying around for a week in systems with shitty occurrences and none are restore/reactivate

      Search for systems with infrastructure failure. You should find some missions there.
