I have a DJI mini three pro, and I bought two full sets of replacement propellers for my drone. I wanted to make sure that I had a second complete set on hand for replacement as needed. The biggest difference that I have noticed is simply in build quality/durability. The master air screw propellers are absolutely indestructible! I found out the hard way how durable and sharp they are almost 2 weeks ago when I nicked my index finger trying to do a hand landing. These propellers could easily sever a digit.
Thanks for this comparison. I really like your methodology. I think the top speed in sport mode (and the others) is controlled by the software. The fact that you mentioned that the drone wasn't as hot after the MA run would indicate that it wasn't working as hard to maintain the software-limited top speed.
@@reviewprodigy I ordered a set right after watching your video using your link. Now I need to get some red reflective tape. I have some orange I used on one of my drones a while back, but I am following your lead on the red. Thanks again!
Cant find any stats on the weight but just weighed one prop for the Mavic2Pro for you. MAS Prop 10g-DJI Prop 8g. So it will add 8 grams to the weight on this particular drone. Smaller drones I would assume would be almost no difference.
MA make some of the best props in the word, I have them on my F550 and Phantom2, and everything MA claim, is true. Quieter and more duration. They're also a bit more durable. Indoor tests in a such a small space are a mistake, not because of the risk (there's a video of an 800 sized heli indoors, bloody frightening!), but because the airflow in the room ends up looping around inside the room in unpredictable patterns, which will have contributed to the drone moving around, and the drone never gets out of the Ground Effect, which has a large effect on duration.
Great review ! This and the Stop Birds Attacking vid tipped the scales for me so I've just ordered the new Master Super Stealth propellers. I wonder if the red prop colour deters the birds or is it just the fact that they can now see the props so the drone looks that much bigger and gives them some trepidation? ...at any tate, with all this red, I'll have to avoid flying low near the bullpens !
I know this is an older video , after a bit research it seems that White is a warning colour to birds , red not so much as it is a colour that represents a flower to birds , I have not tested any of this so cannot confirm .
Hey why u still using a mavic 2 in 2024? Do u have any other drone? Nothing wrong with that thing i wish i had 1 but now days the new drones r getting over 40 minutes of flight alot better zoom features
I am upgrading this year but I use my equipment on a 3 year cycle. The Mavic2Pro does eveything I need it to so its a case of if it aint broke dont fix it.

They are pretty great, sorry about your finger:)

My thoughts exactly, I think getting the same top speed but having the motors work less is a huge bonus

Good informative video. Thanks!
Is there any difference in the weight of the propellers?

@@reviewprodigy Thanks. I have a set on order for my Mini 4 Pro.👍

Nice one, If you fly too close to the bullpens, I'll have to do a video "How to stop bulls attacking your drone" next :)
Thanks champ, That must have taken quite a bit of time. 👍
It certainly did:)

Master Airscrew were making good props long before Dji was even an idea.
They certainly were

the master is also stronger in built quality, but they are bloody expensive, for a piece of plastic.
It does depend on which drone you own as the price varies but they can be expensive for sure
