    Great vid…can you please show the sides of the htv (or whatever substrate) before you place on fabric. It’s confusing for first time users, especially the siser clear.

      Thank you! Usually the glossy side of htv is the carrier. The matte side is where you cut. But for clear its so hard to notice which is which 😂 I still have troubles to be honest. What I do is use my weeding tool to peel the corner up. If it's easy to penetrate, then its the side you cut. If not, then that's the carrier. Then I just stick a piece of blue tape on it to remind me which side is which.

    What do you think about the sisers like sport flex I don't remember the actual name of it? It's my favorite htv and would be amazing if worked because it would feel like part of the shirt!

      Let's find out! I honestly don't think it's sublimation friendly but there's no hurt in trying! Stay tuned I'll make sure to order a sample 😁

    Is there a white HTV vinyl out there that u can sublimate on outside of glitter I want to sublimate on black or color cotton fabrics but can't seem to find a white vinyl that can sublimate on😞 @Neko Prints

    • @NekoPrints
      @NekoPrints  2 года назад

      You can try glow in the dark! I have a video on it as well 😁 aside from that, if you want pure white with no effect whatsoever, you can try using easy subli by siser

      @@NekoPrints easy subli price is ridiculous

    • @NekoPrints
      @NekoPrints  2 года назад

      @@shackeraanderson1886 unfortunately it is pretty expensive 😕 maybe flock htv? There's also subliflock htv from specialty materials. But it's still a flock style htv. Another option is layering a clear htv like frosty clear on top of regular white htv and then subbing. But then the material might be a bit thicker. I've used forever subli-flex before but honestly it didn't work out the way I wanted it to but that's also another option

    Can you use regular white HTV to sublimate on?

    • @NekoPrints
      @NekoPrints  2 года назад

      Unfortunately no, most of the time the paper will stick to the vinyl and the colors don't transfer well. What you can do though, is use regular white htv as a Base, and layer frosty clear htv over it and sublimate on top of that to help thd colors pop way more.

    How do you get the vinyl and the print to be the same size? I have Cricut.

    • @NekoPrints
      @NekoPrints  2 года назад +1

      I used created an offset in silhouette design studio a tad bit larger than the design and sent to cut. Then I sent to print the design from the same program. In Cricut it should be a similar process

    is this sublimation htv or regular?

    • @NekoPrints

      It's pretty much regular htv. It's not necessarily meant for sublimation but it works with it

    it might be too much pressure :/

    • @NekoPrints

      I thought that so I lowered the pressure and still got the same result. I'm going to try with even less next time I try this htv again 😊 thank you! Hope you enjoyed! 😁
