I sadly did not ;/ I lost my job shortly after and I wasn't able to get a car, so I got a motorcycle instead. Don't have to pay insurance for that!

I don't understand why everyone says these cars are 'SLOW'. I just bought one (a '95) and it feels pretty durn quick to me! It is faster than the spitfires, mgb's and even a tr6 I've owned.
geos297 most people love stop light racing and doesn't excel at it, but it's has plenty of grunt in the curves. The engine is very willing to pull, sounds good as well. It's very raw as well.
I just want a fun driving, aesthetically pleasing small sports car with a 90s touch, and this isbthe perfect car for a reasonable budget.

I love the slightly chunkier look mudguards give NAs. Are the sideskirts stock? I think the combination of the mudguards and camera angle at the start is tricking my eyes into thinking the sideskirts are also slightly thicker than usual.

I remember a story where some guy in his teens drove his car without power steering for years and just gained massive forearms without knowing it since the power steering went out slowly so he never really noticed it.

Just a couple questions... Why would you remove sound deadening? I can hear every pebble, is that way to go?
Wheres your passenger airbag? looks like it doesnt have one. Ive got 205/50/15's and find the road feel become much harsher but nothing compared to what you experience with even wider heavier wheels with lower profile, mines bad enough.
Doug Sogge weight savings probably. It doesn't have any airbags, it's a backdated dashboard.

What engine would fit and would you suggest putting in a 1996 Mazda Miata mx5 ... They aren't refurbishing anymore 1995-1997 engines and salvage yards aren't working they all break within a couple of weeks.

Why do people say 96 is the best year to modify? might be looking for miatas soon
They don't usually. Early cars are lighter, 94's are the OBD 1, 96 has 4hp more I believe but is OBDII, 99's have a better head, 01's have VVT for more torque.

in the usa you are allowed to go right even if the light is red, but you have to check if there is traffic of course..

It's a very good system to turn right at a red light if there are no cars that we don't have in Belgium, unfortunatly
