This is scary to me too. I’ve never had an OEM rack leak, but I’d be worried about this. Too bad the F-150 doesn’t come with OEM rails. Still don’t understand how those rivets attach to the roof.
Nice. Do you know, is there a cab mounted roof rack that can support the weight of a pop up roof top tent, including with say two adults sleeping inside while in use, say a Roofnest or any number of other brands? Being able to mount and use a pop up tent above the cab opens up so many possibilities for the use of the bed and access to it, but is it doable.
Yes the Prinsu rack does fully support a roof top tent mounted with people sleeping in it. As a matter of fact that is one of the main reasons people choose our rack and install it on their vehicles.
We have tested most racks on the market and the Prinsu rack is the quietest by far. The low profile design and the way they created the shape with the wind deflector make it incredibly quiet. Most models only add about 1 to 2 decibels of wind noise over stock.
How would it not? It’s the same roof /cab as regular f150s isn’t it? Wouldn’t the version for the 2014 F150 work? Edit - I am not seeing a version for earlier F150s. But @Mav installed one on his 2011 F150, I am assuming that this would also work for that version as well? I have a 2013 F150 and looking at one of these.
Game over at drilling holes
Yes drilling can be intimidating, so if are you interested in this rack we can help you find a local shop that can install it for you!
It’s no different that vehicles that have factory roof racks. They are installed the same way after the vehicle is built at the factory.

Fords roof rack design is a pain in the ass
Thanks for keeping it real. Some trucks are more difficult than others just depending on where we can find mounting points.

Is the wind deflector the one for a 50" lightbar? We ordered it that way, the box says it is the cutout one but it doesnt look like it has a cutout.
Reach out to our customer service, they can get you a cut out wind deflector
Is this universal? I have an old 2001 F150 Supercrew. Would love to install this if it fits!
We have not fit this on your model of F-150. Kiley you could make it fit although there could be a few areas where the fit may not be perfect.
Will this roof rack fit a 2008 F150?
Is there a risk of hitting the curtain air bags when drilling on my 2018 F150?
Unfortunately, this rack will not be compatible with a 2018 F150. We are sorry for the inconvenience
@@PrinsuRacks Isn't this install video on a 2018 F150? So he says in the beginning
@@PrinsuRacksthe guy in the video literally says “today we will be working on a 2018 f150”. Your response to this comment doesn’t make much sense.

How’s the wind noise with something like this?

Why wouldn't this work with 2019,2020? They look like the exact same body. What's the difference that would not allow it to be combatable? Thanks.
It could work, we just haven't tested it so we can't really recommend it.
Who's truck is this?
Does this lower vehicle value?
You'll have to drill into the roof of the vehicle. But it depends on who you sell it to.
No racks for a 2014 raptor?
Unfortunately we don't have a rack for this model.
