Steam Train Chase in South Queensland! (Amongst Other Things) | The Cairns Railfan

Hello everyone! Welcome to a new video on the channel where we find ourselves in the south west of Queensland once again. This time; the main focus of this video will be covering a steam transfer service where Queensland Rail C17 Class '974' had to be returned to Queensland Rail after the Downs Explorer railway heritage group (formerly known as the Southern Downs Steam Railway) based in Warwick has used the locomotive for heritage runs recently. In this video; we will be chasing the transfer service from Toowoomba to Grantham on the 3ft 6in (1,067mm) gauge West Moreton System in Queensland, Australia.
Before and after '974' being the star of the show of this video; we also see a grain train at Toowoomba, a ballast train at Grandchester and a coal train at Grantham! I hope you enjoy!
