If you're on the outer platforms in Park Street, the 3rd rail is right over the ledge. So if you accidentally fall over, you're done. There are no 3rd rail coverings like other metros have.
I’m sorry. But if you’re that under the influence you need to seek help. No matter what safety precautions are put in place, someone who is that wrecked will still find a way to get harmed. You interviewed the wrong people
While I'd love for the T to have platform barriers like other metro systems worldwide, I fear that the costs to install them at every station could be in the 9th or 10th digits so I sadly doubt they'd be seen as feasible.
The maintenance is another issue. I know in NYC they did an inquiry and it would be like 55 Million per station. So I can assume it would be the same cost in Boston
More than 100 yrs of people riding the T and they’re just getting stupider to the point that they now need barriers so they won’t fall on the tracks
this is such a tragedy, rest in peace to this man whose life was cut far too short
FELL OR PUSHED?
his last words were: “I know Obama’s last name”
That’s what I SAID
Note to self; dont consume illegal drugs.
The fact that you distinguish between legal and illegal drugs says a lot.
They say fall so its not listed under crime totals.
Speak with his family..Just dont assume he was on something..
0:47 yeah that’s the talent we’re working with in Boston, stay far away
The third rail is on the inside of the tracks, how do you even hit it?
Drugs

@@graffmixer No, it isn’t. It’s about twelve feet away on the other side of the tracks.
@@Nuttyirishman85 next time you go to Park Street, wait at the middle platform. The 3rd rail is underneath the outer platforms not the middle.
@@graffmixer oh yeah thats true. nutty was probably thinking about the outer platforms
Who was it and how old 😢
3rd rail deaths happened at least yearly,
June 2021: back bay
May 2022: park street
February 2023: downtown crossing
Aug 2024: park street again
Always stand as far back as you can. It’s likely some insane person will push you onto the tracks, it happens all the time.
Was a toxicology report done?
dayum
