I never found any information about this anywhere when I replaced my inner and outer tie rods and I just looked for a rubber boot that fitted by measurements so I used one for a Dodge Charger? The only issue being since then when the boot is contracted it sometimes gets stuck because it's a bit too thick and I'm worried about damageing my steering rack. That's because you have that vulcanised rubber area. The ring is just a spacer.
