Possibly but you can get a XA7 + 15-45 XC lens much cheaper , weighs less than the x100vi and has so many more options for different lenses, I understand people want a small camera setup, I also have an old X20 that at least comes with a tiny 18-112 lens and is much lighter and takes great pics, wish they had updated that line instead of going the fixed lens route.

I have been a photographer for more than 30 years. I have tried many brands and use other cameras for jobs. Every time I pick up the FUJI X100VI, I have a smile on my face and the joy of taking pictures. This camera takes me back to the roots of photography, where you adjusted most things manually with the help of circular controls, zoomed in with your feet and looked forward to the resulting photos. Also perfect are the FUJI film presets, which I used to shoot with many years ago and loved them. I have all this in a small box that is unobtrusive and yet uncompromising in terms of output quality. It's just a heart :-) Good light everyone!
You can go to the wrench (or rather, spanner) menu and select from three shutter sounds, at three volume levels. It comes default with sounds off, which I personally prefer, but they're there.

Thanks so much for a thoughtful and amazing video! After using it for four months, I sold my X100vi today. The price just did not match the performance for me and I found myself grabbing my Leica Q3 much more than the Fuji. I realize the Leica is also very expensive, but the amazing image quality it gives me does not make it feel overpriced (even though I had to look away from the screen when I was putting in my order :P). I loved the soft, nostalgic look of the X100vi's images, but the lagging autofocus, the slow card reader, the plasticy feel (I actually felt my old X100F had a more solid build), the lens that cannot fully resolve the 40mp, all didn't cut it for an 1800 euro camera. If I want compact I'll get a Ricoh GR3(x), if I want filmic images I'll take them with the Leica (whose raw files are much more malleable than the Fuji's in my experience) and make them as nostalgic or sharp and commercial looking as I want. Also, the X100VI's images are just not sharp compared to the Leica (or to my Sony for that matter). It's not blurred perse, but just not tack sharp. I felt it didn't fit my lineup anymore, even if it does produce pleasant images, and selling it seemed more rational than hanging on to it. The funds will be repurposed to acquire the new 85mm 1.4 GMii lens instead.
Exactly what I experienced the last weeks. The images are not sharp. Not defocussed, but just not sharp. And that drives me crazy 😂 Had a GR IIIx before and that little camera produced razor sharp images! Although I love the retro look and haptics of the X100VI I‘m not that satisfied with the results. So your thing about the shutter button, just buy am actual shutter button? Also does your x00vi not have shutter sound on by default? The main gripe I have with the x100vi is that I HATE that you cannot adjust WB(-/+) in Q menu, and you have to go into the full menu to do so. It is such a waste of time.
Good morning, congratulations for the review and for your RUclips channel. I have a question for you about the Fujifilm x100VI: to switch from photo to video mode you have to act on the rear menu (LCD) by manually setting the mode, but wanting to set any button as the REC button, while in photo mode for convenience and operating speed, pressing the latter records with the same settings assigned for the video mode? I ask you this because I did this test and by pressing the button assigned to video recording on the screen the video recording starts but without any information regarding FPS and more. Thanks in advance for the reply.
What I love is the OVF with the frame-lines to see what enters the frame. The same goes with the X-Pro cameras. One thing Fuji is far from the competition. Battery life: I turn of the screen and use it only for playback. I mostly use the EVF with eyes detection. This gives me a huge amount of battery time.
The lack of a shutter sound is one of the reasons I sold my Lumix S9 and went back to Fujifilm X-E4/S20, that and no viewfinder of course. For me the act of taking a photo is looking through a viewfinder (mostly) and the click. Maybe it's a generational thing and the teens don't mind.
Had the 100V then last March got the 100VI a few days after launch and have loved using it as my daily camera, it is a wonderful camera and super fun to use....you can nick pick any camera, but if you have the funds and patience this camera is worth it.
I used to have a x100v and I sold it just because the shooting experience. It felt soulless and I missed so much the classic shutter sound. Now I have a XPro3 and I am really loving the shooting experience now.
@@erenjam haha hope they will really make an xpro4 :-) 1st i was team fuji, then i made the fault to switch to leica - now i cant wait to change back to fuji... waiting for the x-e 5 and xpro 4.
I have mine for a few days now. Overall I love it, but I hate the shutter sound and button as well. And in auto it always bumps up the iso way to much.
Good review. although I disagree with your view of the shooting experience. I think there is a learning curve with handling the camera and also with the shutter button. Yes, the shutter button is more sensitive than most but in a short time it becomes easy. BTW, switching from still image to video is just one click. You just have to scroll in the opposite direction!
I'm currently using a GFX100S and would love to have a smaller Fuji. It took me a while until I ordered the X100VI but it seems to be the right camera to add. Small, powerful, nice design... just the price is a bit too high
I got this camera as a fun, family/ vacation camera which can also be used as a back up camera opening up more reasons now to invest in a GFX for professional work now there's a faster, smaller, more intuitive back up camera in the x100VI
Great honest review. Question; In terms of the user/shutter experience, is this the same as the x100f or is the x100vi completely different? I'm asking because I have the x100f and don't mind the haptic experience on it. I am considering upgrading to the vi but worried the experience might be different from the f.
Totally agree with what you’re saying here. The ergonomics are not that great. The lack of a D-pad and having to dive into the menu is irritating and I the moment passes. The weather sealing is super irritating and should have been addressed. The aperture ring is a total pain to reach.
Ahh, this lovely gem. I have the first generation, it was my workhorse. I decided to sell all of other camera gears and stick to this trusty camera. The sensor on the first edition was magic to me. I haven't been photographing much since 2018. I never did videos, the earlier version were not good at videos. You have amazing videos and pictures. All the best.
Honestly I'd be quite happy to have this as a 1-camera setup for street photography and travel. If only it were about £500 cheaper I would consider buying it.
I don’t think you would lose much if you got X100V. Unless you really need IBIS for video. For handheld stuff with leaf shutter on the camera, 1/30s and maybe even slower is doable. Even moreso if you get the wide angle adapter.
Thanks for a balanced review and indeed marketed as weather sealed, but it isn't. I loved my x100 with all its limitations, but it seems Fujifilm has refused to make the needed lens improvements. And you are right. It is not for everybody
Great video Eren, I fully agree with you. I own the X-T5, got an X-T2 earlier this year in Japan. Soon after that I managed to get a noticeably old but still usable X100S for almost dirt cheap (compared to current Fuji prices of second hand cameras). Getting used to the X100S takes a lot of patience, its quite slow paced, on the S is almost a cumbersome experience at the start, and then there is getting used to the 35mm FOV lens. But I will say that I finally understand the joy of having such a beautiful and portable camera. I am still struggling to get used to using the OVF.
All great points. I like how light it is and the silent shutter, which imho, doesn't need a soft shutter at all, keeping it smaller. It's unbeatable for travel, walk around, and street. It's the camera I always grab and I've done a portrait, product, and wedding shoot with it. The X100V is my "never sell" camera unless I upgrade to the VI.
I’m a professional photographer with a ton of full frame digital; and 35mm and medium format film cameras I love using. This is my favorite daily use camera I’ve ever had.
Great video. At the similar cost, I choose a R8 with a RF 35mm 1.8 as my EDC camera. I don’t have complaints about the cropped sensor’s image quality. I simply don’t like the distortion of the APSC lenses. Besides, Fujifilm should keep the D pad. They should also make the joystick larger and softer.
I don’t agree. This camera produces absolutely beautiful images. The retro design is a bonus but I would never buy a camera which would not be producing excellent image files.
There's no getting away from the fact that the Fujifilm X100 VI is a ridiculously handsome camera. That said I have to agree with much of what you've said here, no least points raised about the lack physical feedback when pressing the shutter release button, and having the feel of shooting with a mobile phone. I think that we have reach a crossroad in camera terms, in future we will look back at the X100 VI, as the point where camera's , using the car analogy, went from manual to fully automatic, electrically... a bit like learning to drive an automatic car verses manual. I know which I would chose. I own the fujifilm XT3, I look at camera and know that I own an important piece of Fujifilm history in terms of quality, productivity and just the share fun of using it. If I was gifted the XT 100 VI, yes of course I would welcome that, but I don't think I would have the same shooting experience as I would get from an older Fujifilm camera.
Thank you Eren for your thoughtful review. Two plus years ago I decided to buy an X100V but, given none were available, I purchased an X-Pro3 and am very happy it worked out that way. Like any other camera the X-Pro3 is not perfect, but it has been a segue to the excellent Fujinon lenses and I love taking photographs with it because, as you pointed out, it feels good in the hand. Not to mention the focal plane shutter makes a wonderful sound. :^) Cheers! GB
I have had X100VI since it launched, and for me the leaf shutter and its lack of noise is such a great thing - especially when taking photos of kids - as I can be stealthier. So I disagree with that aspect of the shooting experience. However, coming from X100F and then X-Pro3, what I really dislike about X100VI (and X-S20, which I also bought around the same time), is that when using Custom Settings (which I always do, to get the kind of jpegs I want without having to edit my photos), you either have to tell the camera to reset to those settings every time to change to them, or have the camera store all setting changes to the custom profiles. I really hate this. Because let’s say the scene requires me to change to a different metering mode, or AF setting, and then I change to another Custom Profile (let’s say I want to try B&W also), now the camera has reset metering mode and AF setting, and I have to do them again. I really wish you could have the custom profiles only for jpeg / IQ settings, and leave all the exposure settings and other camera controls out of them. Like it was in X-Pro3, X100F and other older Fuji cameras.
I actually love the shooting experience and X100 line have been my favourite cameras to use since I started shooting with them. I’ve never found anything I prefer but it’s so subjective. Currently shooting documentary work with my VI alongside an X-T5 I’m really enjoying that the pairing.
Nice to hear an honest opinion after such usage. Valid points on which I agree totally… 😊 I’m also not big fan of leaf shutter and lack of WR straight out of box, but IBIS and sharp 23mm f2 pancake are selling points in x100vi for me… yet I couldn’t put my hands on one…for that travel and street use-case I went with x-t5 and 27mm f2.8 wr and waiting for Fuji to update the old 18mm f2 to add in my compact travel kit. It is not much bigger package compared to x100vi for my usage…
Because it is so hard to find, I’ve started looking at this camera like the holy grail. I’ve spent 8 months trying to get it with no luck. I feel like the people that were somehow able to get it are like royalty, they were the chosen ones that were able to get something a peasant like me will never be able to touch
Thank you for sharing your experience. On the feedback when taking a photo: do you have the sound on? Mine gives a nice clicky sound when I take a picture.
Strange how things go. When I got this in march my x pro3 started collecting dust. Used the x100vi a lot and got about 12.000 shots by now. Then came the xh2 and now the x100vi is an expensive dust collector and I try to make sense of this. I would like to buy the new 23mm f/1.4 and maybe sell my x100vi to finance other things, perhaps even a Leica. I would be perfectly fine with just the x100vi tbh, but the xh2 got me spoiled hardcore. I understand the pricing and that the OVF is expensive, BUT the cost of the xh2 is not far away and that camera is insane. I am now mostly annoyed by the relatively slow AF of the x100vi. It is not snappy and feels slow now.
One thing you said is the reason why I sold my x100v. It didn't give me any haptic feedback. The shutter button squeaks like a cheap electronic toy and there is no vibration or anything. And the image quality, while good, never blew me away so in the end it didn't deliver on experience or results, only looks.
Cancelled my order and got the X-S20 instead. Interchangeable lenses, bigger battery, better grip, better video (better than xt5), much better-updated focus, less price, no waiting list, no hype by gear reviewers. The only problem is that there is no weather sealing on the camera. Well, I use my full-frame Sony in beautiful shitty weather. Anyway, Fuji's last camera was XT2 made in Japan and after the build quality just got worse and worse so do the focusing updates.
I bought the x-s10 on sale plus the 35mm fixed lens and I’m very happy with the set up, I also have the cheap kit lens, perfect for traveling light. I would have liked an x100, coz it has something, but wanted to have a camera right away and also wasn’t sure, if it would be too much for my first Fuji camera.
great review! definitely agree with all the points made. i feel like standalone the 100VI is a good camera but in 2024 in comparison to other Fuji cameras it just feels clunky to use with the card reader, battery, lack of buttons, inferior build quality, and weird port layout. the only significant upgrades being to the video and sensor/processor isn't enough to justify the price. if this is the direction that the X100 series is going to continue then i'd rather they start making something different. maybe even a little less compact to accommodate for modern features a modern camera should have even if it is aesthetically retro.
Not sure about this… the leaf shutter in street settings is the whole point… I get it if you were comparing to other brands… but relative to other Fujis… we’re not talking about a big fail
Thanks Eren. I own a black version of this camera and love it. Why did I buy it? Well, ever since I saw the first Fuji video of the production line for the original X100 just as the earthquake hit in 2011, I loved the design and wanted one just for the aesthetics. However, my actual photographic NEEDS lead me in a different direction so I now have an X-Pro2, X-T2, X-T3, X-T4, X-T5, X-H2 and two Nikon Zfs. But when I saw the X100VI had IBIS and a 40 Mp sensor, and since I am lucky enough to have the funds, I pre-ordered one on 28th Feb and collected it on 31st August. To me it is a beautiful, secondary, camera that I carry alongside one of my other ones; generally either the X-T5 or Zf. So far I love it and am very pleased I was able to get my hands on one. I love its discreet nature when taking street photographs and have been amazed here in London at just how many wonderful conversations have started as people ask me if it is a film camera and we get into great chats. It is possibly one of the best cameras I have ever bought.
have it, and it's a great camera, but honestly, my go-to for street photography is still the Sony A9 III. It's light enough to carry around, and the autofocus is priceless for candids. I bring out the Fuji on sunny days because, like everyone, I love playing around with the film simulations. For me, it's more of a niche, nice-to-have camera. I agree, though...it doesn't impress much beyond slower-paced shots and definitely isn’t the most versatile option."
Definitely a camera for serious photographers. I own the XH2 and I love the handling and dials, but it is a terrible travel camera. X100VI would have been better if it offered a flippy screen, which Fuji shooters don't like.
Thank you. Your life may be in danger from X100VI fanbois for saying these things :-) . After a few months, I sold my X100 VI for what I bought it for, so I did not price gouge. It was brand new. and I shot it for a few frames and never picked it up after that.. I had an X Pro 3, which is an amazing camera and has a real viewfinder that you can focus on in manual mode. It's a real rangefinder camera, unlike the 100 VI. I am a Fuji fan, but this camera is a point-and-shoot and just too small. I get why people love them; just not for me. I do love leaf shutters. My biggest issue was the lack of a real workable rangefinder focus in manual mode that isn't just a toy. The X Pro 3 is excellent at. manual focus. The X100 VI uses the rangefinder metaphor to make the camera look cool and retro, but you can't seriously focus the camera manually. My X Pro 3 could do all the film simulations with better-quality lenses. If I ever get in the market for a point-and-shoot again (and I probably will use my iPhone Pro Max for the same level of image quality), I may give this a second look but probably not. But so many amazing other options are out there that are superior at this price level. I am glad I made somebody who wanted one happy by selling it. Bon chance! As you say, the hype is not deserved.
It's funny to me that people use the word "hype" in reference to this camera. The current version is the 6th generation of something that's been around for 15 years. The camera has been extremely popular among photographers since before current social media platforms even existed to "hype" it. It's as good as it always has been. It's still going to be that popular even after social media moves on to something else.
Yep. I was hoping there would be Lumix one but it turned out into disappointment. Panasonic should have done fixed lens FF with their Real Time Luts feature.
On peut passer plus vite du mode photo au mode vidéo. Quand on est sur photo on pousse vers le haut … et on arrive sur video Quand on est sur video, on pousse vers le bas … et on tombe sur photo Merci pour la video
- no feedback when taking photos (sound or click) - the weather shield adapter makes it 1 cm longer - switching from video to photo mode or otherwise takes time WHAT? that's it? lmao spoiled brats

Can you not press the up button to select video from the drive mode menu?
you can, I shoot in drive mode but even so, its slow
i would love to know what film recipe u have been using. absolutely stunning shots and colors
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Can you tell us your video settings/how did you film with the x100vi please? Especially the shots at 9:34 and 11:20 :)
All F-Log2
I think you can assign the little fn button next to the compensation dial for recording films.
Yeah how does he not know this?
it doesn't record with the settings you set in video mode - no F-log
@@erenjam that's the point. It's when you want to shoot with filmsims and not screw with logs
set whatever function button you prefer to 'moving recording release' for instant video.
It doesn't record using the video settings you set in video mode (can't do F-Log)
Do you also take jpegs with the camera?
Always RAW
Excellent review. Objective, comprehensive, and well organized. Great tone as well
🙏🏼🙏🏼 thank you
Had the 100V then last March got the 100VI a few days after launch and have loved using it as my daily camera, it is a wonderful camera and super fun to use....you can nick pick any camera, but if you have the funds and patience this camera is worth it.
I used to have a x100v and I sold it just because the shooting experience. It felt soulless and I missed so much the classic shutter sound. Now I have a XPro3 and I am really loving the shooting experience now.
Im holding out for the Xpro4, still love shooting on the Xpro2
@@erenjamI have a graphite xpro2 that I was considering trading for a x100vi, what do you think?
@@erenjam haha hope they will really make an xpro4 :-) 1st i was team fuji, then i made the fault to switch to leica - now i cant wait to change back to fuji... waiting for the x-e 5 and xpro 4.
I don't understand the deal with IBIS on a digital camera when you can just bump the ISO to avoid the shakes.
You get hit on image quality with higher iso.
for video IBIS makes a huge difference. Can get a little more creative with photography too / shoot with lower ISO's
I have mine for a few days now. Overall I love it, but I hate the shutter sound and button as well.
And in auto it always bumps up the iso way to much.
Thank you, agree with most of your comments. I think the camera is for serious photographers that know and enjoy the exposure triangle
You didn’t say what camera alternatives,
Good review. although I disagree with your view of the shooting experience. I think there is a learning curve with handling the camera and also with the shutter button. Yes, the shutter button is more sensitive than most but in a short time it becomes easy. BTW, switching from still image to video is just one click. You just have to scroll in the opposite direction!
what does weather sealed mean?
weather resistant vs rain etc
Ah, you would think it would be from the factory. Thnx for the tip!
I'm currently using a GFX100S and would love to have a smaller Fuji. It took me a while until I ordered the X100VI but it seems to be the right camera to add. Small, powerful, nice design... just the price is a bit too high
With Fuji cameras you always buy a soft shutter release button. Much better experience.
I got this camera as a fun, family/ vacation camera which can also be used as a back up camera opening up more reasons now to invest in a GFX for professional work now there's a faster, smaller, more intuitive back up camera in the x100VI
The camera a grab every time I go out the perfect companion to my XT5 could be happier with the X100VI for my street/urban photography
On video, on my X-E4 I configured the ISO/WiFi button on the top next to the shutter button to start video, works well.
Great honest review. Question; In terms of the user/shutter experience, is this the same as the x100f or is the x100vi completely different? I'm asking because I have the x100f and don't mind the haptic experience on it. I am considering upgrading to the vi but worried the experience might be different from the f.
This is the first X100 camera I've used properly, but if I remember right the previous versions did make a sound,
I love the xt2 because of the heavy shutter feel that you get! Its beautiful!its pure bliss everytime you press that shutter!
Nice review, thanks. Just got mine. Need to say, it's neither small nor light. But I'm looking forward to learning this camera.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Will you keep it?
Yep, the camera still has a lot of positives. Currently using it on a trip to Lyon
Totally agree with what you’re saying here. The ergonomics are not that great. The lack of a D-pad and having to dive into the menu is irritating and I the moment passes. The weather sealing is super irritating and should have been addressed. The aperture ring is a total pain to reach.
Great camera 👍
Ahh, this lovely gem. I have the first generation, it was my workhorse. I decided to sell all of other camera gears and stick to this trusty camera. The sensor on the first edition was magic to me. I haven't been photographing much since 2018. I never did videos, the earlier version were not good at videos. You have amazing videos and pictures. All the best.
🙏🏼
Nice to have a hype-free review. I guess some youtubers can't be influenced by popular opinion or corporate pressure. Well done.
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Honestly I'd be quite happy to have this as a 1-camera setup for street photography and travel. If only it were about £500 cheaper I would consider buying it.
Agree. If it were 500£ cheaper it'd be the best value camera out there 😄
I don’t think you would lose much if you got X100V.
🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thanks Paul
🙏🏼 nice!
Feel you 1000% on the lack of feedback when hitting the shutter. Love the camera but isn’t always the first one I reach for because of that.
7:07 just move the joystick upward and it will go to the movie mode...
True, but I shoot drive mode - 3fps
I've heard so many times, this is a professional photographers' "hobby camera". It doesn't feel like doing a job anymore when using it.
Yep, its the perfect travel camera
I’m a professional photographer with a ton of full frame digital; and 35mm and medium format film cameras I love using. This is my favorite daily use camera I’ve ever had.
Great video.
At the similar cost, I choose a R8 with a RF 35mm 1.8 as my EDC camera. I don’t have complaints about the cropped sensor’s image quality. I simply don’t like the distortion of the APSC lenses.
Besides, Fujifilm should keep the D pad. They should also make the joystick larger and softer.
🙏🏼 Yep I prefer the joystick on the Xh2s
I don’t agree. This camera produces absolutely beautiful images. The retro design is a bonus but I would never buy a camera which would not be producing excellent image files.
I agree, the X100vi takes great photos 🙏🏼
Is there a boost mode on this device? Like on the X-T series.
Yep, there is
There's no getting away from the fact that the Fujifilm X100 VI is a ridiculously handsome camera.
:^) Cheers! GB
🙏🏼
You can turn shutter noise on so you can hear when you’ve taken a shot.
True, but im not a fan of the artificial sounds they included
True. That is a great combo 📸
Nice to hear an honest opinion after such usage. Valid points on which I agree totally… 😊
I’m also not big fan of leaf shutter and lack of WR straight out of box, but IBIS and sharp 23mm f2 pancake are selling points in x100vi for me… yet I couldn’t put my hands on one…for that travel and street use-case I went with x-t5 and 27mm f2.8 wr and waiting for Fuji to update the old 18mm f2 to add in my compact travel kit. It is not much bigger package compared to x100vi for my usage…
Agree, its a great camera and I love using it but it has a couple significant drawbacks 🙏🏼
Totally agree about the shutter button sound and feel. Surprised Fuji haven’t put more effort into this.
Apple have been really good at recreating the sensation of touch with their haptic feedback on Mac/phones
Because it is so hard to find, I’ve started looking at this camera like the holy grail. I’ve spent 8 months trying to get it with no luck. I feel like the people that were somehow able to get it are like royalty, they were the chosen ones that were able to get something a peasant like me will never be able to touch
Don't be fooled. You Peter, are the chosen one. ☝️
Thank you for sharing your experience. On the feedback when taking a photo: do you have the sound on? Mine gives a nice clicky sound when I take a picture.
🙏🏼🙏🏼 I tried the sounds but they sounded a bit too fake too me
Strange how things go.
Yh the AF on the XH2 body is no joke
I would love your review of the XT-30 II. For me it has the best value, size, versatility and price.
Great video, thanks!
Hey, I think you need to adjust your cap.
One thing you said is the reason why I sold my x100v. It didn't give me any haptic feedback. The shutter button squeaks like a cheap electronic toy and there is no vibration or anything. And the image quality, while good, never blew me away so in the end it didn't deliver on experience or results, only looks.
I love fuji cameras
Cancelled my order and got the X-S20 instead. Interchangeable lenses, bigger battery, better grip, better video (better than xt5), much better-updated focus, less price, no waiting list, no hype by gear reviewers. The only problem is that there is no weather sealing on the camera. Well, I use my full-frame Sony in beautiful shitty weather. Anyway, Fuji's last camera was XT2 made in Japan and after the build quality just got worse and worse so do the focusing updates.
X-S20 is an underrated camera
I bought the x-s10 on sale plus the 35mm fixed lens and I’m very happy with the set up, I also have the cheap kit lens, perfect for traveling light. I would have liked an x100, coz it has something, but wanted to have a camera right away and also wasn’t sure, if it would be too much for my first Fuji camera.
I think it’s a great second camera. People do look at me when I take food pics with it while eating out. Ha
great review! definitely agree with all the points made. i feel like standalone the 100VI is a good camera but in 2024 in comparison to other Fuji cameras it just feels clunky to use with the card reader, battery, lack of buttons, inferior build quality, and weird port layout. the only significant upgrades being to the video and sensor/processor isn't enough to justify the price. if this is the direction that the X100 series is going to continue then i'd rather they start making something different. maybe even a little less compact to accommodate for modern features a modern camera should have even if it is aesthetically retro.
🙏🏼🙏🏼 Feel like Fuji really held back in a couple areas
Great review! Thank you! You made my life a bit easier! So my choice is ricoh
Not sure about this… the leaf shutter in street settings is the whole point… I get it if you were comparing to other brands… but relative to other Fujis… we’re not talking about a big fail
I love the camera, but I prefer shooting with my Xpro2
Lack of buttons is cheaper to made than body with buttons. Same in car audio for example: screen and buttons / keyborads on the screen.
...thanks for a honest review!!!
Always 🙏🏼
Awesome ❤
Agree. Currently using it on a trip to Lyon, its a great camera
X100 series is one of best imo to have fun on the go. IQ be damn, I just love shooting in sims to get sooc and posting online right away.
STILL to MOVIE always needs a physical button , i dont like they are removing this as then thier cameras are no difrrent to others
Turn on the fake shutter sound if it bothers you that much.
all is great - except image quality !! sold it and stuck with my X100v-- i think the image quality is most important and next is shooting experience
The X-Trans IV and X-Trans V sensor are almost identical except for the increased Megapixels lol.
thumbnail daki mesaj harika, teşekkürler.
🙏🏼
have it, and it's a great camera, but honestly, my go-to for street photography is still the Sony A9 III.
Repeat after me, I don't need leica, I don't need leica, we are FUJI boiis!😂
I really hate the fact that Fujifilm, the big film manufacturer, went this way with APS-C and not the full frame way!
Definitely a camera for serious photographers. I own the XH2 and I love the handling and dials, but it is a terrible travel camera. X100VI would have been better if it offered a flippy screen, which Fuji shooters don't like.
It's a great travel camera nonetheless
😂 agree on the rangefinder and manual focus. Hopefully Fuji drop the Xpro4 next year
They have the same viewfinder...
Just wish there was a new full frame compact fixed lens 35mm option *cough* sony *cough*
Yep. I was hoping there would be Lumix one but it turned out into disappointment. Panasonic should have done fixed lens FF with their Real Time Luts feature.
Pholo😂
Great review. Maybe ditch the hat next time because the amount of times you go to touch it is so distracting!
- no feedback when taking photos (sound or click)
- the weather shield adapter makes it 1 cm longer
- switching from video to photo mode or otherwise takes time
WHAT? that's it? lmao
spoiled brats
Always nice shots 😉 too bad you didn't answer me on instagram, because I would have liked to present your work on my channel, because it is very inspiring 😉👌 thank you for these constructive opinions
