you are a pro...ive been doing my own brakes for 35 years, and now i see where my problems come from, after ive changed them. you didnt miss a step, and ive learned how to make the next brake change,....EASIER..Thanks Bud..
Great video! BTW for anyone having trouble getting the rotor retention T40 torx screws off - find the same author's Ford Fusion rear brake video. He shows how you can carve a notch across the head of the screw, then use an air chisel to get it turning. That was essential for me! I had 2 screws that wouldn't budge, but I used an angle grinder with a metal cutoff disk to carve a notch. Then I used a mallet on a short straight slot screwdriver to pound on it untl the screws started turning. What a horrible idea by the Ford engineers to put rotor retention screws on! Totally unnecessary and an easy place to rust on there after which you have to do all this extra grunt work to get those dang things off.
I was just watching this because my fusion is the 1st car i have seen with the springs that go on top of the pads and was curious how put them on. Although i was impressed on how you cleaned and lubed everything all up because i have never seen anyone take that extra effort.
Very nice job, man! You are the told guy! Here in Brazil when someone do such a clear and full explanation like you, we have a popular saying that goes: "Did you understand or wants me to draw it for you?" Many thanks! Perfect job!
Ty. Someone didnt put the clips on that i changed my front brakes. So i jad some issues ane had to go back and redo it just add the clips but still. Car drives alot better now at least
I bought TRQ drilled/slotted rotors all around and rear calipers (one was srlticking), very good quality parts and thanks for the videos. Very helpful and also big thanks for putting the torque settings for all the main bolts 🤗👍
I’ll definitely recommend penetrating oil for anybody else that’s about to go through this and to watch out on not stripping the brake caliper bolts and The brackets bolts
Hi, i purchased front brake rotors from ford itselt however it came without those screw holes for t40. I called them and said this a modified one. Will that be okay if i install the modified one even without those screws? Thanks
Hello thank you so much for the video its amazing well explain. quick question ? My Ford Fusion left side front brake needs change if one side needs change dose it mean i need to change the right side front bake too? Or only the one that needs change ?🤔 please help me out I will appreciate so much if you may please answer my question .
He replaced the hub for another video. He’s just saying you wanna clean the hub. This is how they make multiple repair videos. Doesn’t affect the installation and it is kinda a joke.
Very helpful video. You may try to cut back on saying "go ahead and". Also you keep saying bowlth instead of both. Very distracting. A lot of content creators seem to do that but seem to only do it when they are explaining something.

What kind of ranch you need to take the nut off
Cleaned the hub so well the axle nut changed color.

The caliper breakdown was well worth the watch alone....TY
Very clean simple to the point no extra bs. Very good. Wasn’t boring. Didn’t have a dragging uninterested voice. Good job bro

hacks dont clean anything
You know what would be useful? Giving us a list of all the tools and the sizes of the sockets you used.
Yup
19MM for lug nuts, 14mm for caliper bolts, 15mm for caliper bracket bolts, and torx T40
Very nice job, man!

Yeah what size sockets and size torx bit for the rotor retaining screws?
Can you be more serious? You actually replace the hub, rather than polish it. The axle and axle nut are new.
"That looks pretty much new" 😂😂
Straight to the point shoutout TRQ

Lots of mechanics never torque all screews, can you make a video about what happens by not doing so please?

My pads don't have wear indicators on them, all four are exactly the same. Does it matter?
You missed a lug when you torqued the wheel lugs 😮

You should always do both sides.
Aren't you suppose to spray the nre rotors to get thr coating off and get tuem clean
I wish you had mentioned the size of these bolts you were removing as you did them.. just saying to remove helps squat lol.
+Alex Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
All right that looks pretty much new lol
This Mf is teaching us how to change our fking entire brakes
Hahaha cleaned and looks like brand new that's a new piece
Trocou o cubo!
Muy bien pero porque te haces guey 2:11
Why pretend you cleaned that hub to brand new quality, I'm not even going to finish the video

I guess ford is never going to correct the problem with the electrical system eating the vehicle, o well . That was an amazing clean up job wink
I've never seen so much rust on a caliper this car must be from up North
That's what my Michigan calipers look like, anti-seize on everything when reassembling!
